My friend and I loved our experience at Bar Rosina's! The restaurant has a nice bar area and a few dinning rooms inside and outside. The menu has many great choices, including their homemade pizza that I hear is very good! We had the pleasure of being served by Drew, who was extremely welcoming, informative and attentive. Our entire experience was delightful and we will definitely be dining here again! We shared the baby lettuce with melon & pistachio salad. & the artichoke appetizers and they were absolutely delicious! Such a unique blend of ingredients and delicate flavors. My friend loved her gnocchi and I loved my spaghetti limone with anchovies. Jared Falco prepares the meals with simple, but very fresh ingredients with skill and knowledge that totally delights the pallet. I usually just go with the flow if people pick it. So, I was PLEASANTLY surprised when everything was INSANE. We ordered so much food because I needed to try as much as possible. Caesar Salad: huge leaves, delightful dressing, tangy lemon sets it off, light, crunchy croutons Arancini: incredible balls of rice that were fried to perfection, topped with cheese, on a bed of cheese sauce? Divine Burrata: solid piece of toast, nice lighter dish Focaccia: SOFT. BUTTERY. Wow! That's all I can say. My husband and I have been dying to get here and we decided to finally give them a try. The pasta was...AMAZING. The sauce reminded me of my favorite dish from when I was in Italy. The pasta also tasted like it was homemade. I would eat the pasta everyday, it was that good! The portion sizes were also great. Not too big but not too small. The vibes were also very chic and modern. They have a cute outside seating area that we are dying to try once the weather gets nice! This is my second time visiting Bar Rosinas and I am just so impressed with the food! The quality and taste is amazing and not to mention the portions are huge! My first visit we ordered a bunch of appetizers and each were so good! The chicken cutlet and the burrata are my favorites. We also split the rigatoni and a pizza. YUM! The second visit we had our Christmas party for the company. Made reservations since it was holiday season. We started again with appetizers, the burrata is still amazing and the meatballs were so full of flavor. The eggplant rollatini was good but not mind blowing. I got the rigatoni again. So good - very authentic pasta and I'd like to correct my prior review. The pizza with sweet onion had sweetness to it but today's pizza margarita had an authentic tasty tomato sauce. The pasta with prawn is my new favorite dish and crave-worthy. Squid ink pasta with prawns and a delicious garlic sauce and finished with bread crumbs in the Sicilian style. My family and I have been frequent regulars at Bar Rosina's. We've always found it to be a wonderful place that welcomed our entire family, babies included. We loved the food and consistently had great experiences. Last week, we walked in as we normally do and were met by the gentleman who is usually at the door. He's typically kind and welcoming, but this time he barely acknowledged us and walked away before even asking if we wanted to be seated. When my husband finally got the attention of the owner to ask if we could be seated--since the dining room was mostly empty--he scuffed at us, grabbed two menus, and said, "Sure, follow me." It felt incredibly cold and unlike what we've come to expect. We tried to continue enjoying our night out with the kids, but everything just felt off. We received two dishes that were ice cold. The branzino was completely different from the last four times I've ordered it. The pizza was sub-par compared to what we're used to. And the service, which has never been amazing but was usually fine, was honestly horrific this time. Sadly, after one thing after another, I don't think we will be back--even though this used to be one of our favorite spots. read more

The ambiance including the outdoor patio was very nice. You still felt like you're in the restaurant despite being technically outside. The price is on par with other places. Food prices have gone up everywhere, can't complain about that. Well priced for the quality of food. The staff was also friendly and not overbearing. The negative which is big. Our party was a party of five, and they sat us at a table of 4. Extremely uncomfortable. That is a big no no, because it ruins the entire experience and night out. It tells me, you rather not lose a seat for a table of six so you don't care about squishing 5 grown adults into a table that is normal for 4. The fifth person can't get their legs underneath or can't simply be comfortable. Makes you feel undervalued and now I will not go back despite the great food. read more

This is my second time at Rosina's- the first time was my anniversary which was a pretty late dinner, a lot of the things that we wanted they were out of so we got other food items- we decided to come back again since the food was good the first time at a somewhat earlier time. As soon as we walked in- we were greeted by someone (not sure if manager?) regardless very attentive staff even on a busy Friday night. We decided to sit outside- such a great vibe. Pizza and pasta were great, eggplant was borderline inedible. I don't know if it was old/stale and reheated or what, but the breading was way too thick and dry- just didn't make a lot of sense. I got this as my entree so was disappointed but everyone I went with got pasta which was good. Gets really loud after about 7:30pm- and dark. There seems to have been a bit of a buzz about Rosinas so we were excited to go and we're not disappointed. Food 4.5/5 We ordered the house salad, rigatoni, spicy shrimp pasta and the Chicken Scarp. The house salad was simple..but so much flavor. The shrimp pasta was great...but is definitely spicy so choose only if you love the burn like we do. The chicken scarp I had never heard of...but as we learned is also called "shoemakers chicken" think of the best roast chicken punctuated with spicy sausage, potato and peppers. I took a chance and LOVED IT. Again simple ingredients treated with respect. Service 5/5 our server was great, Carlos behind the bar made a great cocktail and provided even better advice on what to get and even the chef, owner both came over to check in. Experience 5/5 Rosinas is a cool space that felt like a combination of NYC Dante and your favorite local. Seating was comfortable and well spaced. The chef cares, you can tell this with literally every dish. From homemade pastas to the pizzas. All the pasta dishes are delicious. They're not huge portions, but pretty rich and filling. The pizzas are thin crust Neapolitan style and look like wood fired but don't think they are. There are only a handful of entrees but they are all rock solid. I ordered takeout from this Italian gem for the second time, and it's safe to say it has become my absolute favorite. The margarita pie was a perfect blend of tastiness and crispness. The rigatoni alla vodka, though a small portion, was exceptionally good, and the Cacio Pepe pasta stole the show! Omg the arugula salad and the heavenly chicken cutlet were delicious, great pair together! While it's a bit on the pricey side, every bite is worth the cost. I was there tonight to go try them and when me and my husband went in we wanted to sit at the bar, I had asked two ladies to see if they can move a seat over and the bar tender was like no wait there are seats that are coming free so I stand there for about 10 minutes and the bar tender was go to the other side by there was only one seat available, I fell like he didn't care and the service that kept as expecting was not there, so me and hubby decided to go somewhere else to spend our money. Horrible experience that could have been overlooked, but how we were treated could not be. Dinner meals came out 1 hour & 10 minutes after appetizers were finished (waited only 25 mins for apps). We asked about the food twice and were clearly upset. Waitress never came back either time to update us & seemed to be actively avoiding us. When the food finally did come out it was not good and waitress never came to apologize or ask us how everything was. Could hardly track her down for the check. The pasta was drenched in sauce and Parmesan cheese coated thickly on top, should have been called a soup. The tomato & onion pie came with full cloves of garlic covering the pie, the menu did not have garlic as an ingredient, it was also coated in oregano, making it inedible. The gnocchi was so spicy it could not be consumed. I ordered a Pinot noir without looking at the drink menu thinking it would be around the average $12 a glass. Boy was I in for a surprise, 80% of the wines by glass are $20 or more. The only Pinot noir by the glass was $25. Huge disappointment for my moms birthday dinner, we never ever skip dessert, and unfortunately had to while out celebrating a birthday due to horrible service, annoyance at this point, and fear of it just being not good. read more

Pepperoni pizza was ok, just way to salty and expensive. My heart rate went up to 220 for about 2 hours after eating the entire pizza whereas usually it hovers around 180. Sorry my insides just cant handle that kind of grease and pep pep! read more
