I had a girls night dinner at Bianca a few weeks ago and we had a fantastic night! The food, service and ambiance were terrific. We shared the artichoke appetizer and the burrata (which was a special) as starters and both dishes were delicious. Very fresh and well prepared. The 3 of us had pasta for our entrees: the pomodoro, the amatriciana, and the mushroom tagliatelle. Portion sizes were excellent and the dishes were delicious too. The chocolate cake was shared and we also enjoyed it. Great wine list too. Attentive service and a fun vibe too. It's a tad on the expensive side but well worth it! read more

While in town we decide to give this place a try since it looked good. Drinks , Aperol spritz & a Gin & aperol both good. Appetizers we tried the special fresh Mozzarella & prosciutto w arugula salad this was very good we also tried the Fritto Misto , fried calamari & shrimp this was very good great tasting calamari , very good shrimp but they only give u 2 shrimps? The plate is supposed to be mixed calamari & shrimp enough calamari yes but definitely not enough shrimp. I had the Tagliatelle pasta, this was really good & hubby had the Amatriciana also very good both pastas are homemade. Nice place , nicely decorated we liked the upbeat music. We showed up on NYE with no reservation, having been frustrated with our original reserved spot at another local restaurant. The bartender welcomed us warmly and invited us to sit at the bar. He was very gracious and attentive and the food was fabulous. We've been here several times and also to the sister restaurant in Rye. The food came out piping hot and so was surely freshly prepared. Bland and Pale Hospital grade food. This is a good example of a restaurant charging top prices but the food and service is not quite at that caliber. I was excited to discover a new restaurant. I peeked inside and the tables looked crisp and all looked pretty. Because summer is coming to an end we chose to sit outside since the weather was great. As soon as we sat down I noticed our table was wobbling, this is such an easy fix but overlooked by staff (manager). My focus was now on placing my feet at the base so my water doesn't spill. Shortly after we sat down a couple occupied the table next to us. They were given a basket of fresh bread and their drinks arrived. We sat patiently and waited...... my husband finally asked for the bread that I had to have. I am convinced we were not going to get bread without asking. The menu is kept simple. Few appetizers, salads, pasta, fish and meat. We ordered calamari, it was bland and pale. For me it was not crispy enough and it missed the punch. My husband ordered the pasta vongole, dish tasted and looked good but the portion served was child size. Pasta is cheap and it would cost the establishment maybe 25¢ to give a more generous serving. At the servers recommendation I ordered Chicken Paillard. This item should be removed from the menu. It looked like hospital diet food drenched in oil. With the crooked table all the oils sat on one side of my plate. The spinach in this dish was good. Another way to tell that the management takes NO pride is the little things that some of us notice while waiting for food and chatting. - The wobbly table. - Pot with dying basil in the corner - The maple trees in the corners still with tags on them. Are you returning them? Based on my experience today I will not return. We ate but we were not impressed. For me the reason I dine out is to eat good food. Food I do not know how to make or have do not have the time to prepare. Food made with love and passion. To eat bland pale hospital grade food I don't need to spend outrageous prices like we did today. I passed on dessert and walked to another establishment for coffee. read more

We really like Bianca, we continue to go back. The food is always solid and the drinks are always good and strong. The pasta dishes are always a good choice. The grilled octopus is great and always fresh. Affogato isn't on the menu but I always order it. The bar scene was lively as well. read more

Food was ok. However it's the service I would like to talk about. There was more than 4 tables unoccupied...however, they proceeded to rush us out. They asked us three times to take away our appetizers (that were not finished). They also got our order wrong twice. Honestly, you can see they tend to reoccurring customers which is understandable...but what about the other customer that would love to become reoccurring. So disappointed in this restaurant. In the picture, they did not show the foods that are even on the menu. The menu is made from laminated material, which is so cheap and what I expect from a diner. Person I was dining with intentionally avoided the meat sauce in a bolognese which is sad considering the prices. Server however was very good and he knew what he was doing as he pointed out a potential cross contamination risk in the food. As someone who has visited Napoli, Italia quite a number of times, I found Bianca to be extremely AUTHENTIC in a lot of ways. The items on the menu are often found in Naples trattorias and so we stayed with those items primarily. It has a very cool vibe and we didn't find it over the top noisy. As a fan of Rafaela Rye, I was so excited to hear the owner opened up a restaurant in my hometown, Greenwich. 6 dishes, 4 glasses of wine and a $200 bill for two to tango, I felt it could have been better. The atmosphere is nice, clean and modern, but its overpacked and the music is cranked up too high. The food was okay. The pasta is not as fresh "homemade" like their restaurant in Rye. The seafood was tasteless (most likely due to sitting in a freezer too long). However, the wine selection was pretty good. What bothered me most, was the manager. He is a young man, dressed like he was going to a Justin Timberlake concert (joggers, chain hanging out, and white basketball shoes), with a HUGE ego and attitude. After our entree, taking time to review the long desert menu, he approached our table twice trying to push us to order desert. Meanwhile, we have not even been at our table for a full 1 hour. Our super nice waiter, finally approached - and I explained to him how I felt I was being pushed by the manager (who never introduced himself or sat us down). Our waiter appologized, and talked to the manger, and as I glanced over it was very clear the manager knew we were looking at him. That was his chance to come over and apologize or offer us a glass of wine (not on the house), but to make us feel there was no rush and we cold enjoy our desert - which we eventually ordered. Overall, this is not a restaurant for Greenwich. I think it will eventually follow the footsteps of Barcelona and become a hit for the young rowdy crowd in Stamford. read more

It's unclear if they are looking for a club vibe or restaurant. To add to the noise, we were next to a loud, drunk table. We stopped in for a late lunch on Sunday around two,and the place was pretty crowded. After The first bite It was clear why, From beginning to end everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. For appetizers we ordered the Parmigiana di Melanzane which was so good we talked about coming back and just ordering multiple orders with bread. The salad was light and refreshing the gnoccho fritto is a great trio of flavors. And finally the Branzino was light and flaky. . On top of all that the service was impeccable. This place is a hot mess. My friends and I made reservations for "girls night out" at least a week in advance for this past Friday night. When I arrived they clearly did not have a normal table for us. They put my chair in the hall. Waiters were bumping into me. This was a disgrace. When we asked to move they were not accommodating at all. They clearly do not care about their reputation or customers. We ended up leaving and went to dine at a new venue in town named Canoe. Canoe is excellent. Kane the owner will make you feel like royalty and the food is excellent. Skip Bianca! There are way to many amazing venue in town to waste time and energy on this place. In just the few weeks that Bianca has been open I have already been 3 times! The atmosphere in the restaurant is really modern and chic. The servers are all extremely friendly and they were really accommodating. We started with the bread and dipping sauce and it was phenomenal. I highly recommend the margarita- one of my favorite on the Ave so far. The Crocchette di Melanzane is so yummy and if you get the chance to try the Ravioli special you will not be disappointed. My friend and I were walking through Greenwich looking for a place to have lunch after visiting the Bruce Museum, when we literally stumbled upon Bianca. We looked in the front door and saw two people sitting at the bar and the rest of the restaurant was empty. It was 12:00 noon and they had just opened. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a young man (the maitre d') who was singing the song being pumped through the overhead speakers. Soon the restaurant began filling up, by the time we left, the restaurant was nearly filled to capacity. My friend had the Caesar salad with smoked salmon and I had the chicken paillard and two glasses of Sauvignon blanc apiece. The service was wonderful, the ambiance was elegant and we will definitely return when we see the New Bruce! read more
