It was the perfect balance of refreshing and tart. For our appetizer, my family and I shared the Chicken Taquitos, which arrived quickly and were clearly made fresh to order. The warm, crisp exterior and flavorful filling were fantastic. For my entrée, I couldn't resist the Short Rib Birria Tacos. WOW. These were everything I was hoping for and more! The short rib was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and paired with the rich consommé for dipping. The only issue for me was that they were a bit too greasy. There were a few other notable drawbacks. While our server was friendly, the service itself was rather slow, particularly with our drinks and entrées, despite the restaurant being relatively empty. In addition, we were celebrating a birthday and had specifically requested the birthday dessert. Unfortunately, it was brought out without any special presentation, which dampened the excitement. Although my parents were disappointed, the manager and server quickly apologized and kindly offered to remove the dessert from the bill. The exquisite flavors of the flan and churro quickly made up for the oversight, and all was forgiven. Despite a few minor setbacks, Bar Tulio's offers a dining experience with flavorful dishes, thoughtful service, and a vibrant atmosphere. The energy was amazing from the moment we stepped in, and it lasted right until we left. The staff was incredible - energetic, friendly, and attentive. Our server, Gregory, was a standout. Professional, fun, and full of great recommendations, he truly enhanced our dining experience. Everything he suggested lived up to his descriptions! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, complemented by great music that set the perfect mood. The cocktail menu is enticing, featuring fresh-squeezed juices that make each drink taste amazing. We tried the prickly pear margarita and strawberry margarita, both topped with Grand Marnier foam - a perfect balance of alcohol and juice with fantastic flavors. For dinner, we ordered the grouper and beef tacos, along with the carne asada Mexican Kale Salad. Everything was served quickly and at the perfect temperature. The grouper taco was a highlight - perfectly crispy with a great flavor, paired with avocado crema. The kale salad had just the right crunch. I had high hopes for Bar Tulia given its cool space and large bar area, but unfortunately, the experience was a letdown from start to finish. Arriving at 6:00 pm, the restaurant was clearly short-staffed, which led to our order arriving one dish at a time--definitely not the kind of pacing you'd expect. The food itself was underwhelming. The short rib birria taco, which I was really looking forward to, had no flavor at all. To make matters worse, they got our order wrong, adding to the frustration. The salsa tasted like it came straight from a jar, and the rest of the meal was mediocre at best. To top it off, the dishes were served on plastic plates. For the prices they're charging, I'd expect much better quality and presentation. Speaking of prices--there's absolutely no value here. And to add insult to injury, they tack on an automatic 18% gratuity, so make sure you double-check your bill. It's a shame because the space itself has potential, and the bar area is nice and spacious. But there are way too many other great spots in Wynwood for tacos. Save your time, money, and appetite, and head somewhere else. read more

The music and decor were on point, creating a nice vibe. Service was excellent--the server was attentive and really helpful, making the experience enjoyable from start to finish. For starters, we had chips and salsa along with chips and guacamole. Note that they are served separately, and neither is complimentary like at some other places. For my main dish, I ordered the veggie and chicken quesadilla, which was fresh and flavorful. The only downside was the portion size--it came with just three small quesadillas. What a Fantastic & Vibrant place, drinks and food are so tasteful and great presentation since arrival me and my friends were happily greeted at the entrance and taken to our table. The ambience was so good that we didn't want to leave, Louis as part of the management team came to make sure if we were enjoying food and drinks and explained some of his faves like grouper tacos, birria tacos and Poke tuna salad and of course Margarita on the rocks with gm floater. We started with the chicken taquitos, which were hot and fresh with good dipping options. I had the Mango Margarita, which did not disappoint. The Tajín rim added that extra boost and I found myself ordering another one. As for the main dish, I went with the steak burrito. It was packed with juicy steak, rice, avocado, and more it struck the perfect balance between flavors and left me feeling fully satisfied.
