Found a stick in my nachos

Took over 30 minutes to order on a sunday night with barely anyone in here and get my nachos and there's a stick in it! Ridiculous!!! how does a stick get in already prepared food. Of course when I go to tell them they just stare and have no response like always. Will not be going back!

Great place place for fresh veggies and well seasoned meat. The steak is usually cooked juicey. Try the fish on fridays.

This place is clearly better than chipotle and moes combined. Everything here just tastes way fresher. And college students get a discount with ID. It's easy to customize your own perfect meal here and you will be pleased for sure!

This place is always good. Every time I've been here I've had good service and had an excellent meal. Me and my friend both got burrito bowls; mine was steak and hers chicken. I'd highly recommend a burrito bowl. Hey, I'd really recommend anything on the menu!! We sat outside and it was super comfy and perfect to sit outside, we had just walked all of Salem Lake trail in Kernersville so we were ready to sit down with some good food! If you haven't been by, come get you some tasty food..don't forget the cheese dip!!

Update for our 2026 annual visit:…read more We ate in this year and the service and ambiance matched the quality of the food we had last year. I have been looking forward to the World Ninja Championships so that I can eat here again and the team did not disappoint. I had the special, chilaquiles supreme and YES! Flank steak butterflied and so tender that I cut through it easily with a butter knife. They make the chips fresh for each order of chilaquiles and you can taste it. Generous amounts of every flavor that went into the meal and I left stuffed! Hands down, my favorite place and I have a feeling we are making a second trip here this year for sure! First impression as you walk in, or look at images of the menu: AUTHENTIC! First impressions when you bite into your food: They nailed the first impression! I had the lingua, tripa, pez, and Pastor tacos. My family had the California burrito, chicken and beef tacos, and the Enchiladas Mexicanos with mole and salsa verde. We also added a side of guac and chips. Guac: thin mixed avocado and perfectly sized chunks mixed in with the tomato and seasonings. An absolute must! The 4 tacos I ate were succulent to say the least. The tripa was thin and crispy, but you could taste the rendered fat in them. It had the texture of perfectly cooked bacon. Al pastor is one of my favorites and this one did not disappoint. Then there was the pez taco that was just the right amount of crispy without being an iota overcooked. At last I ate the lingua taco. It melted in my mouth and I immediately wanted another. I don't even like mole sauce, but I couldn't stop eating the mole enchilada. Aces, hands down. The California burrito was phenomenal and had the perfect amount of each ingredient and a delectable amount of heat and sweet cream sauce. The chicken was obviously hand shredded and had equal amounts of larger chunks of meat and thin pulled pieces to soak up all the flavor in endless nooks and crannies. If you have not been here please do your palate a flavor and stop in. The value far exceeded the price of our meals and we plan on coming here every year when the World Ninia finals rome to town

Extra parking is located in the back. The guac is the best! Perfectly seasoned and definitely not scooped from a tub. Tried the Carne Asada, Pastor, and Chorizo tacos. YUM! The service was friendly and fast but not rushed, vibe is casual - great for a quick bite or margs with friends. I used to love the Sopes here but didn't see on the menu this time. Maybe I missed?

It was busy and bustling, a bit noisy, packed spaced. We were waited on my Evie who was an absolute gem, available and professional. I ordered a special taco plate with fish that was beer battered. The tacos were pretty good: pickled onions, an amazingly flavorful orange sauce. The fish was somewhat bland and kind of mushy in the middle. The rest was good. Salsa bar, guac, and chips were tasty. I also had a fresh limeade that was great. I would come back, especially for the service.

Blackberry sage had a muddled, interesting flavor to it. Think wine-y but not quite that either. The mixed berry needed more berry flavor but was okay. Lavender was best out of all, but it was teetering on sickly, almost had too much lavender syrup. For entrees, I ordered the puffy Pete chicken tacos. They came out with crema on it when I ordered it on the side, but it was quickly rectified. The portion was good. I was full by the end. The flavor was okay. Chicken cooked fine. But it didn't have much of a sweet heat kick to it without the jalapeños added. Overall, I wouldn't necessarily get it again when we go back. My fiancé ordered the Houston beef puffy taco. He thought the taco was very filling. It had meat falling out of it, which was good. It tasted like a typical ground beef taco. He hoped the chorizo would elevate it, but it didn't. It was similar to a Taco Bell beef taco. Overall, decent tacos, and it helped that it was big for the price. We want to visit again, but we'll try other menu items and stick with water. The music was fine. Country and nothing stuck out. Service was fine. She kept only giving a small amount of napkins for a messy dish, which was a bit annoying, but she was very helpful answering our questions for our first time. So she was overall helpful and pleasant.

The restaurant itself was really clean despite the lunch rush just having gone through. So we were really impressed with the tables being kept up after the lunch rush and the chairs were comfortable as well. The prices are fair especially with how good the food is. Even our family friend who is notoriously picky was impressed by the food. One downside was that it was difficult to understand the lady behind the counter however we were able to order by pointing to what we wanted. One of the meals we got we aren't sure exactly what it was, as we pointed to something someone else had gotten. Our friend got the chicken quesadilla and she said it was really good. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the guacamole. It was a bit thin and bland. We went based on a recommendation of a coworker who said they had three tacos for $9.99 as part of a meal and they said they were so good and it was a really great value which is why we went there. We definitely weren't disappointed and plan on returning.

If you are not signed up for their rewards, definitely look into it because you can get these for free :). I ordered the Triple Dipper, as one does when they are craving Chili's! The big mouth bites were a little dry, but with some ranch they improved. I ordered a Dr. Pepper and it was great but my one and only refill did not arrive until after my food did. The restaurant is always pretty loud, with it being a pretty popular spot, but this does not bother me. While in the area again recently, I decided to stop in here for lunch. I have eaten at Chili's…read moreseveral times over the last year or so, after having ignored this restaurant chain for more than a few years - in fact before my recent visits it had been over 10 years. Chili's was a solid, successful casual dining restaurant which began in Texas in 1975. It expanded rapidly, was sold in the early '80s, and grew even more rapidly. But early into the 2000's the chain saw significant drops in traffic, and the financial decline continued for a number of years. But several years ago, a substantial effort began to rebrand this chain - the menu was trimmed of losing dishes while new items were added, and value questions were addressed. The introduction of the "3 For Me" value deal proved very popular. I love the 3 For Me, and the 22 oz Modelo draft for $5, and the Triple Dipper as well. On this visit I chose the Triple Dipper - Hot Nashville Chicken Crispers (well fried chicken tenders with some heat), Southwestern Egg Rolls, and Big Bites (beef sliders). This comes with your choice of 3 sauces. The egg rolls have been on Chili's menu for decades and they remain a favorite of mine. The rolls consist of well seasoned chicken, black beans, corn, red bell pepper, spinach, and Monterey Jack cheese, spiced up with chili powder, cumin, and cayenne! The Avocado Ranch dipping sauce goes very well with this combination The hot Chicken Crispers were awesome, crunchy outside yet tender inside, with some nice heat from the Nashville Hot sauce. The Big Bites included the beef patty, caramelized white onion, bacon, cheddar cheese, and jalapeño mayo on a slider bun. There were also two bites, and overall the tasty and texture was right. The only down part was that everything is on one tray, and the Nashville Hot sauce did a bit of a number on the slider buns. As to the sauces, I found the Ranch a bit bland, but Jalapeño Ranch, the Blue Cheese, and the Sweet Chili Zing were all nice. This was a very nice meal, and a good value even at $16.99 because for most folds you are talking about 2 full adult meals.

The special comes with 2 margaritas of your choice, a trio of dips, 4 tacos, and 2 dessert puddings--so you get a little bit of everything! First things first: they do NOT hold back on the tequila in those margaritas, which is definitely a plus in my book. They were flavorful, refreshing, and actually tasted like there was alcohol in them! The trio of dips tasted incredibly fresh, like they were made right then and there. The guacamole was easily my favorite because they put their own spin on it with jalapeños for a little kick. I wasn't expecting the spice, but it immediately piqued my interest and made it stand out from your typical guac. For our tacos, we went with the Tex Meets Lexington because I wanted to step outside of my usual birria order, and I'm glad I did! That being said, I already know I'm coming back to try their birria tacos next time. I also love that they offer tortilla options besides flour, which I'll definitely be keeping in mind for my next visit. And THEN came dessert. ‍ We tried both the strawberry shortcake pudding and banana pudding, and both were phenomenal. Seriously, don't skip dessert! To top everything off, Andrew's hospitality was the icing on the cake. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made our first visit even better. He also told us they have live music every Thursday, along with other events throughout the week, which gives us even more reason to come back. Great drinks, fresh food, amazing desserts, a fun atmosphere, and wonderful service--our first visit definitely won't be our last!

We happened to visit on trivia night, but it was difficult to hear the questions, so we didn't end up participating. Parking can also be a challenge during peak visits. The AC was also pretty loud, but honestly, on a hot summer day, I was just glad they had it! The open garage doors were a nice touch and gave the space a relaxed, open-air feel. True to its namesake, there are brightly colored folk art designs throughout the restaurant in line with their Mexican heritage. The trees that make it look overgrown from the outside actually serve to allow sunlight while masking the surrounding city, facilitating the transformation that makes you feel like you're in Mexico City. We came at an off-peak time in the afternoon and it was nearly empty. We were seated immediately and the service was prompt and attentive. I was pleased to see some unique menu offerings like Birra Ramen and Sopes that deviate from the standard American-friendly fare in most places. Drinks were good - we had a regular house margarita, a triple berry margarita, and a jalapeño cucumber margarita. All were tasty and I would order again. I tried to order a Mezcalita, since it's not often I see a Mezcal option, but they were out of that particular liquor. We tried to get street corn as an appetizer, which they were also out of. We got cheese and salsa with chips instead. The chips were hot and fresh, the salsa generous with the cilantro, and the cheese bold and warm. For entrees we had the Al Pastor Quesadilla and the Birra Ramen. The quesadilla was good, though the beans on the side were pretty bland. The ramen was a unique and very tasty option, and I was not able to finish such a generous portion. I think I'd leave the cheese out next time since it made some weird textures, but the flavor was great overall. Overall, there are some small things to improve (having menu items in stock, bland beans) and the prices were a bit high, but we had a great experience overall. It had a an amazing Latin vibe with great music playing and food to back it up. I was with two people who grew up in Miami, and they agreed with me so I know this was a good Latin restaurant. Coming to the order, I got a shredded chicken torta with no cheese along with their spiciest salsa and verde salsa on the side and the boiled (they had fried as well, but I just wanted to be healthy) yuca. The torta was delicious, the spicy salsa gave an amazing kick to it and it chomped it down in no time. The boiled yuca was a bit bland but the verde sayce helped with that.
