I met Ronnie when he came to do a septic inspection when I sold my house. He doesn't just drop a dye tablet in the toilet; he does a full open-pit inspection. I was impressed with his knowledge and thoroughness so I hired him to do the septic inspection at the new house I was buying. He knows exactly what he's looking at and takes the time to explain it. He also does routine pump-outs, maintenance, and minor repairs. This is the guy you want to have look at a problem because he's not in the business of installing new systems, so you know he's going to be honest if he tells you that you do or do not need a new system. Apparently owners of company split and they no longer had records (i still have invoice). This week i had an emergency with my septic and have called numerous times and left multiple voice mails, all with no response. I even emailed and nothing. This is not an issue that can wait, so after 2 days of trying i reached out to a different company. I will no longer use A-1 again, and will be going with another company for all my future business.
