Very nice over the phone , got me in the same day, Steve was awesome showed up on time and cleared drain what more could I ask for!!

Around 1030 pm , after my wife took a shower we noticed a steady stream of water coming from the shower head and it wouldn't stop even with the handle on the off position. Thinking it was just a faulty cartridge I turned the water off at the street and proceeded to dismantle. The cartridge was broken but I was unable to shut it off or remove the cartridge. As a result I needed to turn the water off at the main . Realizing this was more than I could handle I called Barcena after some google searching and reviews. This was around 1130 pm on a Fri. The answering service took my info and within 10 min Steve called from Barcena. I explained the situation and told him it could wait till the morning as we have the water shut off anyways. Steve called me in the morning and gave me a quote over the phone, minor fee for weekend/emergency which was very reasonable. Steve replaced the cartridge but problem still there. The next step was possibly entire shower valve needs to be replaced, obviously a much much bigger job which would require tile/dry wall being torn out. Barcena went through several other troubleshooting tips just be extra sure and tried a different cartridge which ended up being the answer. Barcena has 100 % earned my trust and business as they could have easily made this a bigger and much more costly job, but they did not. No extra charge for the other cartridge btw and they charged per the job, not hourly. Very reasonable price and fantastic service. read more

My water bill was way to high so I called Barcena Plumbing and spoke with Teresa. She was very friendly and sent someone out same day. Turns out I had some leaky toilets which they fixed right away and then tested pressure for entire house. I called three plumbers and they called me back first. They came out in a reasonable time and did what we wanted for a decent price. There was a misunderstanding when they put in our shower faucet and set it for scold protection since we have kids. I didn't know it ,and was disappointed when I went to take a shower and had lukewarm water. When I called about it they sent someone out that same day to fix it for me. We had Barcena Plumbing out today to unplug our kitchen drain pipe running out to the main drain out front. Daryl showed up with a big smile and a hello. I showed him where the cleanout was and he went to work cleaning it out. Great job by Daryl, drain pipe running great again! Saved us a lot of money. We were told by another plumber that we would need to put in a new drainage line to clear our drain. Barcena Plumbing came out and began with a smaller snake head and eventually moved to a larger one to clear the drain. They were successful. We did not need to put a new line in. We had the best experience with this company! We had a leak in the kitchen ceiling from our upstairs bathtub. We thought it would cost a lot of money to have to open up the ceiling, figure out where it was coming from and fix it. We were so surprised at how reasonably priced the entire experience was. They only charged us about $150 for the whole thing. The guy was so incredibly friendly and helpful and spent a long time trying to get it fixed. Once it appeared to be fixed he went on his way. It turned out to still be leaking a couple days later so we called back and he came back out and figured out what the problem was. He then had to run to the hardware store to buy the part, but got it fixed quick. The best part was he only charged us for the part he bought at the hardware store, he didn't charge us for visiting again or for having to make several trips. He remembered us and our issue immediately and sounded genuinely concerned that he hadn't fixed it the first time. Seriously the best experience we could have hoped for. Fantastic service! Pablo came to my home after hours, when it was determined we could wait until morning he didn't charge us for coming out. I recently sold my home and the buyer's inspector was hung up on the way it was installed. Long story short, Barcena Plumbing could have argued it was installed correctly 6 months prior, but instead, they made sure to prioritize coming back out to my house to make sure it was installed to the inspector's liking free of charge! Barcena Plumbing gets my highest rating. I called yesterday because our water heater wasn't heating the water. Teresa returned my call and within an hour Daryl showed up at our front door. He assessed the situation and told us that the controller was not working and unfortunately, because of the age of our Rheem hot water heater, they are no longer making this particular part. Then he saved the day by remembering that he might have a replacement part at his house. Teresa called later and said that he had indeed found the part and would come by today to install it. He was here right on time, installed the part and hooray, we have hot water. Daryl was very professional and personable. We will be scheduling another call with Barcena to replace three faucets that are leaking and require new piping. In my mind, they are the best. Great company!! Our water heater went out on a Thursday night, by Friday morning we had no hot water. Our plumber retired a few months ago and our heating and air conditioning guy, who's also a friend, recommended Pablo and company. I called the emergency line just after 7 am, actually got a human being who took the message. Pablo called back within 10 minutes, asked all the correct questions - he didn't want to install a new one until he was sure we needed it - and said that he'd have the office call after 8:30 am and they'd send someone out. They called, asked more questions to make sure of the size, sent their guy to pick up a new heater just in case. We made an appointment for between 2 and 4 pm (the same day!!), they called a little after noon and asked if it was OK to arrive earlier - I said come on. A plumber named Steve arrived, in a uniform (I know it sounds like a commercial but its real), quickly diagnosed the problem (11 yr old heater was shot) and started to work. He was the most professional plumber I've ever witnessed. Had all the correct parts and tools on the truck, expertly un-installed the old one and installed the new one. It was a little tough because it was in a small enclosure but he did an amazing job at a fair price with a complete 6 yr warranty. We had hot water that afternoon. It was New Year's Eve 2015. I was leaving to work that day and noticed water flowing from a wall that separates my dining room from a third bathroom. Month's earlier, I had received Barcena Plumbing's name as a referral for a different water repair that had gone on the back burner. Without any thought, I combed through my emails and found their phone number for my emergency call. My first surprise was when Pablo appeared at my door on December 31st. He quickly provided referrals for leak detection and restoration after investigating what would become a manifold leak in my slab. Over the course of the holiday, the leak location was identified and repaired immediately. That was my second surprise. Barcena Plumbing was careful to move my furniture, protect and neatly competed all repairs. In fact, the repair process was so clean I could not appreciate it more. Unfortunately, I have had my share of water issues within the 13 years I have owned my home and sorry I did not know about Barcena Plumbing years ago.
