We went on a Sunday evening not realizing they close early. The greeting by the host was not the most friendly, seemed like she was annoyed we came in before closing (~45 mins). They were out of a few menu items but the quality of the dishes we had more than made up for it. I had the scallops and mussels with linguini which was cooked in a light garlic sauce. Pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was the perfect complement. My son had the salmon which was also cooked perfectly. We would definitely try them again, just hope we will have more options next time. read more

The food is average. I don't recommend the Friday night buffet, but ordering off the menu is generally ok. The restaurant seems to be under new management with new staff. Very chaotic and very few answers from staff. Maybe when they settle in it will be better. read more

We went to Barclay's to check them out. There were 4 table's of people in there who were mostly finished with their meals. We waited 35 minutes, drank two iced teas each, and never had anyone come to take our orders. The staff was too busy filling water glasses and delivering to-go boxes of diners already finished with their meals. We left. We went to another restaurant that had 4x the amount of diners seated and waited on. We had our orders taken and drinks delivered in ten minutes. I called the owner to tell him what our experience was like there in an effort to help him. He was borderline belligerent and didn't seem to care. Why go to Barclay's to be disrespected when there are so many other restaurants on the mountain who deliver a good dining experience? We won't be back. read more

This was not our first time to Barclay's, but it was our last. The food was very underwhelming. The Brisket Strips were very fatty. The Mashed Potatoes were bland at best. For some odd reason, the "vegetables" that came with the meals was sauteed red and green bell peppers and onions with a piece or two of yellow squash. The yellow squash is really the only thing you would want to eat. The rest are for Fajita's, not a side dish for a meal. To top it off, it was very warm in there. We've tried Barclay's 3 times since opening, and unfortunately it seems to be getting worse, not better. Service, disaster, food, disaster, management, nonexistent. On our breakfast attempt I ordered an orange juice, and thought it a little odd when it came out with ice but tasted like orange juice. Then when the check came I noticed it said screwdriver on it. The bartender proceeded to argue with me that I had said screwdriver orange juice and I'm pretty sure I know the difference from years of experience. To make things even crazier, both my partner and myself could not taste any vodka in this supposed screwdriver. Whomever is in charge of pleading the food needs to pay attention to the next time they go out to eat because it looks like a four year old putting the food on the plate. No sense of planing, no sense of dining room etiquette, serving etiquette, bartender etiquette, no manager touching tables the list goes on and on I don't see this place staying in business unfortunately. Atmosphere tainted by manager yelling at staff about condiment inventory in the restaurant in front of patrons. Charged for a full $15 platter when we ordered a side of french toast with no adjustment offered. Server was apologetic but said that's what the manager told her to do, even though the platter comes with eggs and potatoes...We won't be back. read more

There are so many good restaurants in the same area of Barclay's, but if you have low, low expectations, then ditch the great restaurants and go to Barclay's. IMO, the food is unappealing, the wait staff couldn't care less, the wait time is ridiculous, the prices are higher than the White Mountains Country Club, and the owner doesn't care about your experience. The ambiance is dated and boring. We won't be back and if you care about good food, reasonable prices and caring service...you won't go here either. read more

Had a fantastic lunch with a window seat overlooking the golf course. Lemon pepper wings were really juicy and cooked just right. Chicken Quesadilla was very good. My wife has the spicy shrimp Quesadilla and she really enjoyed it. Service was prompt. We will be back. read more

Pleasant location, good service, good food, good drinks and nice view. We ordered the rib eye and subbed fries for baked potato and pork chop. I wish I had subbed a salad for the vegetables. Everything was cooked good. Just know the vegetables are probably frozen vegetables, that's not something I like. Their cosmo and martinis were made very well. I enjoyed everything about this experience and will go back to try their breakfast and lunch. read more

Saw the sea food buffet advertised for couple weeks so gave it a try. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! Buffet opened at 4 pm and we got there at 445 thinking we would get fresh lay out. Went to the buffet and pans were already mostly empty. Buffet is small and serving pans are very small and do not hold much to begin with, unlike normal buffets. It is completely self-service with plastic cups for tea, lemonade or water which you self serve. Drinks, plates, bowels, utensils and ice went almost as fast as the food and neither got refilled! This was a one plate buffet since there was no food! We got tired of waiting and left at about 5:45 and buffet was still empty as guests came in wondering where the buffet was. No one came to the table or asked if we wanted something from the bar or different than the empty buffet drinks. All throughout the restaurant tables were full of dirty dishes and no one clearing tables, which was pretty gross. Table next to us was ordering off menu and sat there not getting any attention for half hour. What little staff that was there didn't seem interested and just went through the motions, like they got paid the same whether we ate/drank or not. Since most of the buffet was empty while we were there, we didn't get to sample all. Lot of fried sea food and on salty side, overcooked and not very hot. The crab, cod, corn, and calamari was long gone by the time we got there at 445 and never refilled while we were there. Taste at best was ok although the chowder was tasty. At $30 this was over priced for a one plate buffet and service was horrible. Next time will go to the casino which is cheaper and actually operates like a real restaurant. This place has a LONG way to go a to get to acceptable and will most likely go out of business. read more

Have been hearing good reviews and been wanting to give it a try. However in reviewing their online menu the beer list is seriously lacking. No Craft beers, no IPA's ...merely all the beers available at a Circle K or the like. I will wait and see if that improves before visiting. read more

We were told they had gluten free items but they had none except items that were naturally gluten free like eggs, coffee, etc. We had not been back to that location since Covid but we use to eat there every Sunday morning. However, the Waitress, Courtney, was very rude & sharp spoken. She is definitely in the wrong type job. There were very few people in the dining room. WE WILL NOT GO BACK! read more

We waited to try them for lunch, as new restaurants usually need a little time to work out the kinks. It was a great experience from the moment we arrived and we will be back! I had the brisket quesadilla. It was loaded with tender meat and crispy on the outside. Just like I like it. I also was able to taste my husband's turkey sandwich with the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. I liked the sandwich allot as it loaded with meat and a tasty cranberry aioli on fresh bread, but those fries... wow. The ice tea was good and service with Irene was great. The view is outstanding and I appreciated the nice tablecloths and soft piano music. It was just an around great experience which we told the manager, Jacob, when he stopped by. It's close to us, looking forward to trying breakfast and dinner. SOON! read more

Great location but even better food and service. We were in Pinetop for a week and ate here several times. If I could I would rate it a 10. Best biscuits and gravy in Pinetop by far!!! They are a new restaurant so haven't got really busy yet but that's going to change if our experience is any indication of what they will soon be. Tired of waiting on busy days in Pinetop for food that's really not that good. You need to try this place as they have great hours and are open year around and are very accommodating. Try there breakfast burritos they are big enough to take half home for Lunch. They have 3-4 flavors and are priced really, really good. But there platters are huge too and can easily split!!! read more

We have eaten at Barclay's for breakfast and for dinner. Additionally, we have experienced the burgers, hot dogs and drinks on two occasions at Music in the Pines. Our breakfast experience was fair and our dinner experience was good, 3 and 6 respectively on a 10 point scale. We also had dinner on Friday Nite Live when the food was very good(8). On both Music in the Pines experiences, the burgers were undercooked and cold . We had given them a second chance but probably will not order food at that event again. On ALL occasions, the staff was pretty rude and obviously not trained . Barclay himself was not at all helpful and deferred to servers who were not attentive. His manager was equally unfriendly and unhelpful. This restaurant needs a lot of attention to detail in respect to hospitality if it expects to make it. Right now it is somewhat of an embarrassment to Pinetop Lakes CC in our opinion. Overall just a fair rating. read more
