Great food and service reasonably priced. This restaurant has great views of the golf course and the pines.

Slow service, food was not edible. Felt like we were eating in a 1970's cafeteria. Floor dirty, table cloths were old and disgusting

It's your typical local hangout with regulars & visitors all mingling together. Service was quick & Michelle did an excellent job making sure our visit was enjoyable. Our food was delicious. Hubby had the fish & chips tasty choice. I ordered naked chicken wings with hot sauce on the side they were delicious. The wing size was pretty good (I hate it when they're tiny) I actually had some leftover to enjoy later. The other 2 in our group ordered the Grilled Cheese Special & another order of chicken wings. As I mentioned before everything was delicious & no one left hungry. Excellent experience highly recommend.

The owner comes through to our table and said "Are you worried about your child dying? Hahahaha (Yes laughing). I'm an ER nurse ....how raw was the chicken?" All I wanted was an apology...to say, "I'm sorry about what happened." And yes for the record, of course I am worried! As a nurse myself and a mother, I am worried about my child! I am worried and upset that my child ATE RAW CHICKEN that your restaurant served! If you can take away one thing about our interaction today and "being a human being", that is to apologize, be empathetic and take accountability.

Tara was our bartender and she was great and filled us in on all the town gossip and some history behind Charlie Clark's Steakhouse. I made the sashimi peppers..and the French Dip and my GF had the Tri Tip Tacos.. ... Pretty good sandwich and peppers. I have only eaten there for dinner so this was a different experience. Always enjoy visiting Charlie's.. And Tara gave us some Cousy's from Charlie's Wedding Anniversary.. So, if you're ever in the white Mountain stop off at Charlie Clark steakhouse you won't be disappointed. FYI, they don't open for dinner until four bar opens at 11 AM.

Food won't be out of this world but the overall ambiance and service fills some of the gaps. It's a bit pricy but what you can expect in the area. We went for Thanksgiving and they offered their full regular menu on top of a turkey special. One of my biggest pet peeves, not one mention of service charge included. At least we had an itemized check and this was visible. At the end of the day it's still a cool local establishment to enjoy the evening to hang out pressure free.

At first I was a little surprised at their limited menu... but here's the thing... they do it well. I actually realized I preferred that.. if you can nail the items you do offer... so worth it. We got the French Dip sandwich (side of horseradish and au jous), chicken sandwich, hamburger, cheeseburger, chicken tenders and fries, and the special soup of the day - beef stew. Ok, guys, the beef stew... I'm going to be dreaming about it. It has their prime rib and drippings in it and thr flavor is amazing. We got one cup and my family helped me eat it so I got a second cup. Everything was delicious. One of my sons got the chicken sandwich with coleslaw. Coleslaw is so hit or miss... but this was a hit. There wasn't anything we didnt enjoy. The chicken was a nice thick cut, had amazing seasoning in the breading and was perfectly fried. The hamburgers I got medium and they were also cooked well. I would highly recommend this place. I think I'll be dreaming of that stew...

The tomato jalapeño bisque was one of the best soups I've ever had! The rye bread is so hearty and soft! Everything was delicious! We cannot wait to go back!

When we arrived, the place was completely empty--which should've been our first clue. We chose to sit outside, but oddly enough, the special Mother's Day menu wasn't offered until we specifically asked for it. After looking it over, we ended up ordering from the regular menu since it had more variety. There were four of us, so we ordered a mix of dishes to get a good feel for the food. Everything we tried was pretty underwhelming--under-seasoned and clearly cooked from frozen. Your standard bar food fare. They were also out of wings, and the music system wasn't working, which made the place feel even more lifeless. Food took nearly an hour to come out--even though we were the only table outside. If you're into beer and don't mind typical bar food, this place might be more enjoyable in the evening when it's busier. But if you're looking for a quality meal or a special brunch experience, I'd look elsewhere.
