Very very good burger spot in PB. Went in on a Tuesday night, not expecting too much but we were really impressed. Our server Kyle was courteous and insightful. We ordered 3 burgers and a salad, a couple of beers, and a tequila drink. The food was superb- burger's all done to perfection, shoelace fries hot and crisp, salad was fresh and tasty. The interior of Bare Back Grill feels like a surf vibe. It was decorated with Christmas/Winter decorations and it felt very festive. Oh my goodness! I can't believe my favorite happy hour spot in PB is turning 20 this June!! I love everything about this place and not just at Happy Hour!! The ambience is awesome. I love that the patio seating from Covid has remained. I love how the windows roll up to let the outdoors in. The decor is pretty, the booths are soft. The Red Bull TV and surf videos are fun to watch. The service is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I am always happy to see Alex behind the bar. Bareback reeled me in with their awesome happy hour deals when they opened in 2005. And that menu has evolved over time but is still wonderful. Many a day I ordered the Bare Lil Lamb sliders and fries and shrimp skewers with a Vodka Cooler and called it an early dinner. When I had my kids with me when they were toddlers it was great because I could scale the meal to fit their ever changing appetite. During Covid it was so nice to pick up a complete meal here with a bottle of wine or some cocktails to take home. Every month the Mainstay of the Month changes. I didn't try this month's Chicken Parmesan but I can't imagine that it's bad. Every Mainstay of the Month I have tried has been amazing and a couple were worthy of becoming part of the main menu. I love lamb, so it's no surprise that my favorite things on the menu are the Bare Lil Lamb and the Lamb Skewers. The hummus with the skewers is SO good. I love the thinly sliced cucumber slabs and warm pita. There is attention to detail on the presentation of things, which you don't always expect from a beach restaurant. Tonight I particularly appreciated the little piles of salt, ground pepper, and red pepper flakes I dredge through or sprinkle on my food. It's a small thing but it helped make the flavors pop. I'm not sure what I love more - the tots or the matchstick fries. Some dishes come with fatty fries instead but I can't speak to those because I love the other form factors too much. I really can't say enough about Bareback Grill. I'm not a morning person so I haven't come in for brunch but I'm sure it's amazing. We tried the cheesecake tonight and it was very good. Too sweet for me but the raspberry sauce was a nice counterpoint. It was fluffy and light, not dense. I'm a regular and I've been remiss in not posting sooner. I will always be back. I bring friends here when they're in town. Sometimes I bring my dog. It always feels like home. Check them out. You won't be disappointed. We are visiting from out of town and popped over to Bare Back Grill for dinner. There wasn't a wait which was a must because we were starving. The staff was very friendly and the place has a laid back vibe. We got the hummus plate to start and the pita was nice and warm, and the hummus had great flavor.
