I am working in this area a lot, so after reading so many rave reviews I booked an appointment. I was excited to have a quality salon away from home. This was my spa time and I was looking forward to a few minutes of down time. Everything was going along great, we were chatting and then all of a sudden Ashley walks out of the room, walks back in and starts speaking to me loudly and accusatorily about a skin prep I needed to do to avoid rashes and bumps. I suspect she was too nervous and unsure of her skill, but had she said that instead of yelling at me my visit would have had a totally different vibe. Or if she wasn't nervous a different tact would have made the world of difference on me, her client. Instead of a repeat visitor they now have this negative review. A little dose of kindness can go a long way, and it would be wonderful if Ashley understood that. And the wax I did receive?? Yea, it didn't turn out well. read more

However a recent bad experience with this companies reschedule policy is the reason for my rating. I do not agree with being charged a fee for needing to reschedule an appointment in the less than 24 hour from the appointment window. I do not want to go into detail here but my reason was not an "excuse" and I was forced to attend my appointment while being very uncomfortable. Ok, I'm not gonna lie, I was Super nervous. I'm a big girl.... And I'm in my late 50s and I have never ever had a waxing done. I was there for 2 areas to be waxed, both "below my big ol belly" can I say Brazillian? Lol On arrival the receptionist was very sweet and welcoming... Then I went inside and all of my fears were eased and I felt so comfortable with Ally... She was just the sweetest and just SO darn cute. She made this old lady feel young again and I will be going back. Even bought some of the special products they recommend to keep everything soft!! GAH!
