So, we meet again, bison burger. This place offers so many different options to customize burgers that fit anyone's preference. I can't express how much I love bison burgers. I ordered a brioche bun with bison, gouda, alfalfa, spinach, dill pickles, pickled red onions, and special sauce. The alfalfa gave the burger such an earthy taste and aroma. They stole my money and never respond to calls after a order was claimed to be delivered though no one ever arrived Update: After traveling through traffic and having a discussion with the workers here the delivery issue boils down to door dash drivers stealing orders. Though some blame remains with this location for doing business with doordash, it is doordash who is at fault. The burgers were okay. I feel their competitor has a better taste. The burger comes with a knife and fork - I needed it as the bread was meltdown soggy. Although the bacon is great. The veggie burgers were okay. The service was great. Oddly enough they have a bar with top-shelf spirits. Busy street offering a challenging attempt to street parking. Hi. On March 24 my son ordered from Bareburger Cobble Hill. He never got the order, but I was charged for it ($40 for a burger and wings). I have been trying to call the number they have listed all over the internet for 2 days, and have gotten no response. There is no message. I called other Bareburgers which all answered the phone and seemed to be legitimate, functioning businesses. They told me that Bareburger is a franchise, and the Cobble Hill branch is in no way related to the other branches. Interestingly, my son got a bogus text saying the order would arrive at 7:45. The next day he got a scam message from the same number saying he'd won an Ipod. read more

Have you been to a Bareburger before? This one has the same ethos as all the others around NYC: They are all about sustainable and properly sourced product on their menu. It's definitely a burger joint. Classic beef, healthier bison/turkey, meatless sweet potato/black bean/beyond/impossible...whatever burger you want, they've got one that fits the bill. If your wife is more of a chicken tender kind of person, they've got those too. This location stands out on a couple things: 1. They've got my man Falcon bringing great beers. 2. The sidewalk seating is excellent; it's one of the only spots on Court that is on the east side of the street (but not a backyard), so in the warmer months you're usually in the sunshine. The only major knocks are: 1. They close at 9 pm for some reason. 2. Inconsistency. Burgers can sometimes be underseasoned or overcooked, which is a bummer when all you wanted was a burger. read more

Enjoyed my own Bareburger creation! I had the grass fed beef, alfalfa sprouts, jalapeños, tomatoes, caramelized onions, sweet pickles, and special sauce. I got my burger medium and it was mostly medium with the outer edges being more medium well. The burger isn't super filling by itself, but I think the ingredients all tasted fresh and well made. We also got the kids grizzly meal which was a simple cheeseburger, a side of fries, and an apple juice box. The fries were really good! If we were hungrier, we'd probably both create our own burgers and share some fries. Regarding service, I saw some previous reviews complained but my service was great. We went during early dinner on a Thursday. Not many people dining in, we also sat outside during pretty good weather, not too hot or windy. The server was nice and quick, ordered our questions and was great. I would recommend giving this place a try and I will definitely be back! read more

I attended an event at the Park Slope location, and I was blown away. I felt the need to visit Bareburger again because the service and food were excellent. However, I didn't have such a great experience here the second time around. I came on a Saturday afternoon; it was rather crowded, but there was one table available. When the server came over, I felt he was a bit pushy. I placed my order which was a beef burger with cheddar cheese, fries, and a shake. The food was ok, not as great as the sliders I previously had, but that's ok. Overall, I would visit Bareburger again, but probably not this location. It's rather compact here and the tables are very close to each other. However, from the wonderful initial experience I had it's certainly worth another try. read more

I've been a fan of bare burger for years, since it was only in Astoria! I thought that I had tried just about all of their protein choices but I didn't realize that they change their menu up fairly often. It was great to be able to attend the Elite Event and sample the new additions to the menu! The wham bam burger is out of this world good - fried chicken breast smothered in wham bam sauce (buffalo + bbq), topped with bacon. I also really loved the Lamburger topped with avocado and a yogurt sauce. I wasn't a big fan of the vegan burger we sampled which I think was the Prairie. The biggest surprise was the fact that they have amazing salads and brussel sprouts. I sampled several salads and all of them were great, like actually good enough to order them instead of a burger at a burger spot. That good. They also offered a really good cider that I had never tried before called Down East. Lastly, their shakes are to die for. The vanilla peanut butter is great but the coconut, avocado,and lime "Cococado" shake (which is vegan) was the standout. read more

Made a quick stop here for some food with the Wife in the afternoon on a Monday. Seated quickly and began perusing the menu. Our server was attentive and I knew he was busy but he was patient with us when we still didn't know what to order. My wife and I were trying to avoid certain food so we went with a Hudson salad and a chicken bites share. It came fairly quick and we devoured it. But I was still starving so I went with a beef burger. I made my own concoction and it came pretty swift as well. All in all, It was a good experience, received some good energy from our server which helped the time spent there. This location has been my favorite of the 3 (or is it 4...) It pains me to give Bareburger 3 stars. Everything was delicious, and I have no problem paying $12 for the California burger, the ginberry cocktail was spot on, and the pickle chips were awesome. Timing though: awful. In lieu of a side of fries, I got fried pickles off the snack section. When taking my order, the girl asked if I wanted them first or with my meal. As I was forgoing fries, I wanted them with my meal. The burger came out relatively quickly, but the pickles came out 10 minutes later...ugh. My friend and I came here Saturday for breakfast, we were seated immediately as the restaurant was pretty empty. Right away we were bought waters and some small donuts that tasted similar to churros. We ordered the waffles and chicken with the sweet sauce and the wham bam sauce (I hope that's what it was called). The waffles and chicken were small not what I was expecting exactly but it was very filling. The wham bam sauce is amazing ! It has a nice spice to it. I didn't try the sweet sauce but my friend did say it was good it tasted like syrup on the chicken lol. All in all if I'm in the area and need breakfast I'll definitely come here. read more

My family is visiting from Seattle and my brother craved a burger so this was the nearest one to where we were staying. Unfortunately, we came at a time where they were only serving brunch. They only had 2 burger options (1 regular and 1 veg version). However, they had sandwich options as well as pancakes and waffles. I would recommend their waffles! They are gluten free - no one in my family is gluten free but i promise you, they will not disappoint. They give you 5 little waffle rounds and they are soft and moist. Normally, I am a crispy waffle kind of a person but I couldn't stop eating these! I met up with my cousin in New York whom I haven't seen since I was a toddler, and we were so excited to see each other. We we both searching around Brooklyn for a place to eat, and we stumbled across this place. Neither of us had been or heard of it before, but we had a very helpful waiter who explained to us the concept of this restaurant. It's a burger joint that specializes in using all natural and organic ingredient for everything, from the meat, to the toppings, to the condiments; it's a chain restaurant that primarily operates in the northern part of the US. My cousin and I were looking through the menu and saw some pretty interesting choices. Ultimately I decided on the "Fire Quacker" which was a duck burger and My Cousin got the the "Social" which was a turkey Burger; It was my first time eating a duck burger and his first time eating a turkey burger. I must say that I quite enjoyed my meal here, and I believe my cousin did too. The burger itself as well as the fries and ketchup all tasted "different" and to be honest "weird", but it was a good kind of weird, like the "I'm not used to eating organic food, is this what my food is supposed to taste like weird" haha. Overall, this location had good food and friendly service. The next time I find myself up north I I will definitely consider getting another delicious organic burger from BareBurger. read more

My first time there and the service was excellent. Server explained the menu concept. You can pick you choice of meat: bison, beef,... sides : sweet potato fries, French fries, onion rings, .. Drinks : beer, wine, cocktails It's nice and comfortable, it's great to finally find a place you aren't rushed to leave. My grind house was delicious. The relish and paprika mayo was a great combo. My husband however had a $14 burger that was dry AF! My Cousin had the "Falafelwraptor"... it was wrapped in cabbage and drowned in 100% vinegar and "stuffed" with falafel crumbs-$14 The tab for a salad two sandwiches and a few brews was over $90... we all felt cheated. Everyone working here is really nice but we waited quite some time before being seated in a restaurant with only a few filled tables. Further, we waited a while for someone to come and take our order. The food was also brought before we got any of the drinks we ordered. The Caesar salad wasn't special either. Overall, I would return because the burgers are so great. But stick to burgers and don't expect to have prompt service, at least at this location read more

Service here is always good! This location is near the UA Court St Regal theater, transit museum, court house and etc which makes it perfect for such a heavily trafficked area. There is outdoor and indoor seating with various types of seating areas for indoors (bar, high chair, and bench seating). The food is fresh and flavorful. To my knowledge their are various sauces in different burger and sandwich combinations so be mindful before adding condiments to them which can make it overwhelming. I love their onion rings and fries and their condiments are original and taste great. They also have great sundaes which are large and shareable (I suggest saving room for dessert especially if you plan to eat one alone). I notice a lot of families come here but it's never crowded; I would imagine this would be the case at the Park Slope location as there is a school located across the street. read more

I rely on this place for a Last min meal so much. We go There a lot but my last visit... my husband got a burger that was over done vs the medium rare he asked for, they didn't put some of the accompaniments on that we had asked for. Ten mins after my husbands food came i was told mine was gonna be ready in 5 mins! You go out to eat together not seperate. Poor poor Service. YES, 1,000 times yes. I was walking down the street, not thinking I wanted a burger for lunch but then I saw these bright yellow garage doors that opened up the entire restaurant and a beautifully designed frame wall and I couldn't resist. I am so glad I came here. As if the decor didn't already blow me away (seriously, at least come by for that and TRY to say no), the menu was so explanatory and helpful in deciding what to eat. You have the option of building your own burger (bun choice as well) or you can choose a pre-made burger. They don't just offer beef, but also bison, elk, duck, turkey, etc. It's also very apparent that they care where the meat is coming from, which I really appreciate. I got the Supreme Burger (beef patty, bacon, onion rings, etc.) and it was cooked perfectly. Not overdone, just juicy enough. Typically I don't feel great after eating burgers, but I felt wonderful all day after this. Definitely think there wasn't a lot of grease on it either which was awesome. In the words from the man sitting behind me, "Patty is a little small but, you know what, I don't need a big fat one." True that. I didn't think it was that small, but to each his own. Also, I can't help I overhear when someone talks loud and is sitting a foot away. Swear its not as creepy as it sounds. I had sweet fries with the burger and LOVED them. I felt healthy, while still not, and they were just the right amount of crispiness that kept the inside soft and potato-y. Also had the fried pickles to start and they were good, a new experience of sorts. The batter wasn't just bread crumbs, but also sesame seeds (I think) and other mix-ins that added a little kick. The dipping sauce paired with them also seemed to have more fresh ingredients in it. Kind of regret I spent $30 here today. Supposedly they get their meat from upstate NY and maybe I am not used to such quality meat?...that's sarcasm...I did not like the taste of the burger meat at all. It had a taste that was just not good -- I can't even describe it. The fries were just okay. So, with that being said, the place was super busy and I am sure people absolutely love this place...I am not saying not to give it a try...but I will not be back...ever. Service was fine. Also, something that kind of grossed me out was the fact the waiters were bringing all of the dirty dishes from the cleared tables onto the counter where people ordered from and near where we were sitting at the bar.
