I am impressed with their business and service yesterday. At first, I had requested a quote on yelp, but I was busy with my customers and I had no time to call them back. I saw that Richard had replied with some prices on tires to my email. When I had free time, I called and Richard told me that he still had time for me and have 50k mile tires available for a good price include balancing. When I was younger, I used to work across the street from them, and watched the store opened. I saw that they have good reviews, and I had sent people their way. This is my first time there. Jennifer took little time to write up a ticket, told me that it will be an hour. I walked over to Food Lion with my son and dined at Mom and Son Thai Kitchen and walked back, before I had even gotten back. Richard called to inform me that it is ready. They mounted my tires with the lug nuts that I had purchased, and they torqued them with torque stick and no over torquing. Good job to the Bargain Tire Outlet team! read more

I have been going to this place of business for many years. The price to patch a tire has gone up to 50 dollars. They do not tell you this until after they've done the service it was about $25 and has went to $50 since a couple months. The new workers were very new but acted like they knew everything. They did not know nothing this store is gonna lose many valuable customers Loyal customers they have been going in them for many years because of the people change and the $50 charge what working man can pay $50 to patch a tire you could almost buy a new one for that price I wanted to post this review because this place has gone to hell in a handbasket and I would avoid this place like the Covid disease. Top notch service from expert tire technicians with great customer service! I have worked as an Automotive mechanic for years and have replaced hundreds of tires, but I now work as a transit mechanic, so I don't have access to the tire machines required to install my own tires. I ordered my tires online, but only because I'm sort of particular and like to search and compare tire specs myself; the shop has probably hundreds of tires in stock based on what I saw. I asked Bargain Tire Outlet to install my tires for me. My tire technician pulled my vehicle into the shop, raised the vehicle, removed all 4 wheels, removed all 4 tires, replaced all 4 valve stems, mounted and balanced the 4 new tires, re-installed the wheels, and had my vehicle ready to go in less than 40 minutes; and for a very fair price! They also offered environmentally friendly disposal of the old tires. I'm impressed and would recommend 100%. Great people! read more

AMAZINGGGGGG CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!! I recently had a tire to blow out (driving around on these Norfolk streets can be dangerous) So I got on yelp and did some looking for a place to get some used tires and came across Bargain Tire Outlet. I went on their website to request a quote and got a call back within 10 minutes if that. I was given two options with great prices. I went directly after work on a Friday and arrived at 3:50. I was immediately shown the tires that I was quoted after agreeing to get them, I went back into the waiting room to wait. I waited for about 25 minutes and my car was ready. 25 minutes for 2 tires to be put on the car!!! I've waited longer than that standing in line at Treadquarters! While I was waiting (small waiting room) I could not help but to notice the level of customer service that was given to each and every customer that walked into this establishment as well as the customers that were calling on the phone. I absolutely love this place. I first came here a couple of years ago when my tire blew on the way to RVA. The front desk lady is so helpful and had me back on the road in 40 minutes. I had a nail in a bald tire today so I went back. I drive for Lyft and put a LOT of miles on my car, so I go through tires pretty quickly. My last 2 brand new tires from Walmart (w fees) ran me $73 each time, plus I had to wait 3 hours each time. I just happend to be in Portsmouth riding around a couple weeks ago and spotted this place and just in time since I've known i needed a new tire for about a month now. I called beforehand to make sure they had what i needed in stock and they quoted a price over the phone for a used tired. TIP....if you call to see if they have your tire in stock, please know the size of your tire beforehand. It greatly helps with the process. I went right over, told them what i needed. I had no idea they were going to let me choose me own tire (with some suggestion from the staff) how great is that. They were quick, affordable, knowledge, and most important.....customer friendly. Wonderful customer service. I'm visiting from south Georgia and goodness the roads around Portsmouth are amazingly bumpy. I thought Atlanta had terrible roads but the point is that you'll wear your tires out here.I went in thinking that I'll have to purchase new tires. The staff was friendly and quick to take in my car. At first I thought they were super nice people! Great customer service. About a month later, I'm realizing the used tire I got from them was CRACKED, and is currently 80 dollars new from the store! So I'm paying a new price for a used tire with cracks in it? Okay. & now I have to spend another god knows how much on another tire for it. Also, the tech here told me my lug nuts were stressed and I would need new ones. Not the case. My lug nuts are fine. I cant believe that these people charged me 80 dollars for a "used, like new" tire THAT WAS CRACKED! I trusted these people! They were so kind. Never ever again.
