Horrible customer service. Went to the store anti get tires replaced on my vehicle. Paid for the tires and was told we would be called when the tires arrived! We never received a call. We called and were told the tires had arrived. We then had to make an appointment to get the tires installed. We arrived and left the car and the told we would receive a call when the work was completed however again we never received a call. I had a flat while I was out running errands. There was no 4 way in my truck and once I was able to get one I couldn't get the lug nuts off. I had the spare but just needed the lugs off. I was able to get the truck to the shop and went in to ask about just having the lug nuts loosened so I could change the tire. Keep in mind the shop was very busy. I was told it would be a 45 minute wait. I didnt have a choice so I was prepared to wait. Collin was working the counter and asked to see the tire so he could get some information and get me in the system. Once he went out to look at what was happening he decided to get the tools needed and went ahead pulled the tire off and even put the spare on for me. He also replaced the lug nuts because they were destroyed getting them off as they had been previously over tightened. In all I think I was there for 20 minutes. I honestly couldn't tell you how great this place is, you'll just have to see for yourself! I got new tires 5 days ago from a different location. Welp, here i am with a huge glass shard in the tire & it has to be replaced because it's too close to the sidewall. OF COURSE, this happens on a sunday when they're closed. I came right at 8am and i have to be at work by 9. We'll, let me tell you they had me taken care of in a matter of 20 MINUTES. To top it off, all of the staff is friendly and professional. This place is the best! My tires were worn and needed replacing. I called Discount Tire on Saturday morning to see if they had Continental tires in stock, which I'd heard were hard to get due to supply chain issues, and they did. I asked when they had an appointment opening for installation and they had one that same day in the afternoon! Mike and his team were amazing. Place is incredibly well run, organized and efficient from the minute you step through the door. They are ready for you if you have an appointment, do an inspection of your car, and install within in hour. They'll send you text updates and let you know when your car is ready. There is seating inside in the A/C or outside under a big tent. There are shops and restaurants down the street a few blocks if you want something to do while you wait. Took my car to get new wheels put on as well as tires, it is a staggered setup. Wider wheels in the rear, skinnier in the front. they put one of the wider wheels in the front on the driver's side. The wheel, being out of place, rubbed up against my strut as well as caused damage to the strut and wheel. They tried to send me on my way with 2 different sized wheels on the front! read more

If I could rank Discount Tires with a ZERO I certainly would. My son and I went in 2 weeks ago and received great service from a guy at the counter and we ordered 4 new wheels for his 2022 Durango. They arrived as anticipated and he made an appointment to have them placed on his vehicle. Upon arriving for his appointment the manager told him that he also needed new tires, which he knew to be inaccurate and told them to just put the wheels on and he would consider it at another time. The manager left and then returned stating that they would not place his current tires on his new wheels because the tread was so warn and again that he needed 4 new tires. He loaded up his new wheels into his vehicle and drove to the Dodge dealership where they evaluated his tires, found them to be in excellent condition and placed them on his new wheels. We have all of this well documented and I am going to make it a point to tell everyone that I know how you operate! How many times have you scammed people into purchasing something that they did not need? We work for our hard earned money and you make yours by lying and cheating the people that walk through your door. You even took my son out to his vehicle and tried to convince him his tires needed to be replaced but he recognized your obvious lies and knew more than you gave hime credit for, your profile for someone that you could scam failed you this time! Actually, they beat Cosco and Walmart on price. They will match anyone on price, even a certain number of days after purchase. Can't beat that. They want your business. They also offer a certificate of repair or replacement on their tires for $31 a tire. Covers any repair for free or full replacement if damaged and not repairable within 3 years or a certain tread wear, whichever comes sooner. My tire was leaking so I went to the location on Holland and found my tire had a nail hole. They put on a replacement tire so I could drive home safely and I was able to get the tire from the Suffolk location close to my home an hour later instead of waiting for a store transfer - Holland Rd didn't have my particular tire in stock and this plan was most convenient for me. The new tire was free but if I wanted repair or replacement protection on the fresh tire it was another $31. Okay, no problem. I just saved over $200. They balance the tires for free. You can come back every 5 to 8k miles. They also do free air checks anytime you want. I love this certificate warranty deal!! Totally worth it! These guys did an amazing job at installing my new wheels. Although I didn't buy my wheels here, I should have because they do offer the best warranty in town. Regardless, I am very happy with the install and the customer service that these guys offer. My wheels were custom and they had the proper tool and personnel to install them without any problems. I had made an appointment at a different place whose name will be unmentioned. When I got there, they did not have the equipment to install my new wheels and this led to me calling 10 different other places at the last minute. I bought 5 bfg ko2s from them. I had a tire blow out in Canada when the tires only had about 700 miles on them. Turns out it was a strange puncture that made the whole tread body rip off the sidewalls. I live in northern Virginia but I come down to suffolk every couple months for work. We dont have a discount tire up north. I'm really glad I got my tires from here. I called a day before I left my home and they were able to source me a tire in under a day. Since the tires were essentially brand new they were able to get me great pricing. They mounted the tires and did a 5 wheel rotation. There are a few things I noticed that doesnt happen in almost tire shops. They used rubber lift pads on my jack points. They also ran a wire wheel brush on the lugs, lug holes in the wheel, and on the mating surfaces. These are minor things that make a big difference. I'm not sure if its corporate policy or if just this shop takes the extra step. Either way, they do it and it is a nice touch. It is a shame there isnt a discount tire in northern Virginia. read more

I purchased tires here for my wife's Jeep at their website. The tires were available the next day and they called me to have them installed. We dropped her car off and they notified us when her car was ready. They did a fabulous job! My wife loves the tires and how they ride with no vibration. Tire pressure light came on Saturday got air in it held it through Monday morning and got in the car tire pressure light on again instead of driving to work drove to discount tire because of all the great reviews. I noticed the sign in the window and on the website said that you needed to book an appointment so the earliest appointment online was 1030 but it was 7:50 in the morning and I'm sitting in front of the building. Never stepped foot into a discount tire until today, and I was not disappointed. The associate was super helpful and took care of me promptly. I was greeted at the door and the associate took my info to begin working on the car. I had a tire plugged and balanced and this was by far a better deal than the treadquarters (my former go to for tire needs) in the area. Tread quarters was even more expensive with their "coupon". Also, the whole process took less than 45 minutes complete at DT. I cannot thank them enough for their work and professionalism.
