But what really makes this place special is their mission. They hire individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively invest in the community -- from vendor markets to hosting events like their upcoming 5K. You can feel that purpose woven into everything they do. We tried one of their themed drink flights (the Sweet Heart menu was adorable -- Love Potion, Love Struck, To The Moon & Back... so cute). The presentation in the little mason jars was fun and picture-worthy. Flavor-wise, they leaned sweeter than my personal preference, but still enjoyable and perfect if you love flavored lattes. They offer plenty of milk options, including non-dairy, which I appreciate. Bakery - vegan and gluten-free options clearly labeled. I grabbed the lemon scone (vegan + GF). It was good! I'm personally more of a vegan-but-not-gluten-free girl, so texture-wise it's not something I'd specifically crave again -- but I absolutely appreciate that they create inclusive options. My friend had the cinnamon roll and was happy. They also have a small retail section with mugs, shirts, local honey, and little gift items, which adds to the community feel. Overall, this isn't a hyper-trendy, third-wave coffee aesthetic spot -- it's something better. It's purpose-driven, inclusive, and clearly loved by the neighborhood. Not a five-star flavor experience for me personally, but an easy four stars for what they stand for and the impact they're making.

The big garage door was open. It seemed fairly busy. I would say it took about six or seven minutes to get my coffee and my yummy pop tart type of pastry. I did just a regular drip coffee. It was quite smooth and tasty. I would definitely recommend. The toaster pastry was a blackberry raspberry combo and of course I got it warmed up and it was absolutely delicious. I visit Phoenix area frequently and I've seen these popped up all over. I'm so glad I was able to stop. Try it. Enjoy it and I'll definitely stop again the next time I'm in town.

I got attitude about asking it to be fixed and sure I didnt ask with a smile on my face because I had already been waiting 30 mins while other people came and left but I wasnt rude. The kid working there was . When I asked if they knew why it took so long for a pre order (still not rude) after they fixed my drink they looked around like it was obvious and said "were really busy" when I explained ppl have come, placed new orders, got there items and left so I dont think thats it he replied " well i guess we just lost it for a bit " rudely as he walked away ending the conversation. I wasnt looking for anything free merely an explanation and maybe an apology because delays happen I understand. What I dont understand is why I got attitude from some little kid because hes having a bad day. I Just started trying black rock a few months back and I wont be back.

We found this location via Instagram and was excited to learn that they had five one get one free on all ice cream and shakes on this day. First off, the place is quite difficult to find--it's not clearly marked, and we had to double-check we were even in the right spot. Once inside, we waited for a few minutes before an employee approached us. In a muffled voice, they seemed to ask if we were there for boba, to which we responded yes. They mentioned something unclear and said "moment," so we assumed they were going to come to prepare our order. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the employee returned and, rather bluntly, asked if we needed something. When we reiterated that we were there for boba, they curtly informed us that it was closed. While we understand things happen, clearer communication and better signage would have saved us time and frustration. We were excited to try the boba, but the lack of professionalism and overall experience left a sour impression. That said, the axe throwing setup looked interesting, so perhaps that's worth exploring in the future.
