Love the cookie butter. I keep saying I'll try another but the fomo is strong. Online ordering sometimes has things that are out of season, so that could be better. But they have a rewards program if you add your phone number when paying with card. read more

Stopped by here on the way back home to California. Everything was decently priced! Got a smoothie (options were strawberry, strawberry banana, peach or mango), cold brew and a breakfast sandwich and burrito. It was a good quick stop, they have a drive thru. My only complaint was I wish the menu at the beginning was a little more cohesive, I was sad to find out when I drove up to the window that there were many more options & various menus than I thought ! This is my favorite coffee shop in Buckeye. Located conveniently off the 10 and jackrabbit trail just a couple blocks south makes it easy to hop off the freeway and back on. Their cute little shop is outside seating only but I always choose the convenient drive-thru. Everyone is kind and helpful here when you order. Being that it's not a chain, they have many unique drinks here. The desert tortoise is one of my favorite cold coffee's as well as their cold brews! For breakfast the chile verde breakfast burrito does not disappoint! It's packed with meat, cheese and eggs with salsa available on the side. Their hours are perfect for any commute start time and the drive thru is quick. Keep up the great work! read more

I stopped by here a couple of Saturday mornings ago with my with my wife, twins for our morning coffee. Whenever we go on vacation, we like to hit up local coffee shops and on this day we went to Jackrabbit Java. I didn't bother to research it much and went completely off of ratings and so I was surprised to see a drive thru type coffee shop with a walk up window as well. We ended up utilizing the drive thru and you ordered and paid on one side before driving around to the other side for pickup. On this morning I decided to go with one of their signature drinks, a large hot cookie butter (latte), while my wife went with a small iced cookie butter and my mother in law went a small hot apple pie. From ordering until our drinks were ready only took a couple of minutes and we were quickly on our way. My coffee here ended up being pretty good as you really could taste the cookie butter up front while the coffee was prevalent on the back end. The cookie butter wasn't overly sweet either which I appreciated as I don't always want a sugar bomb with my coffee. My mother in law and wife also enjoyed their coffees as well and we all ended up happy with our selections. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Everyone in our car enjoyed the drinks that we had ordered and I would love to try more of their signature drinks. read more

We left the East end of the valley early to beat traffic on the way out of town. Not being familiar with the area we made our breakfast choice with hope, a prayer, & reviews & landed at Jackrabbit. Coffee was spot on. If they were on my end of town I'd be a regular. Service was quick & friendly. The cake pop made for one very happy very messy toddler. The breakfast sandwiches were life savers but pretty basic. I wish more of these coffee shop with breakfast options would opt for a toaster oven or air fryer instead of a microwave. read more

If you want to have some good tasting coffee that WILL wake you up then this is the spot! I always get the iced desert tortoise with vanilla sweet cream and it NEVER disappoints. I have also tried the cookie butter iced coffee and it's just as amazing. The service is excellent ALWAYS. They are small business owners and all of the staff is so attentive and friendly. This was my first time visiting Jackrabbit Java and I loved it! It's a cute little coffee shop tucked right off Jackrabbit Road. I ordered an iced Americano and a turkey sausage breakfast sandwich, and both were absolutely delicious. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. This place is perfect! Definitely my favorite local coffee shop!! The coffee is always good as well as their tea. My favorite coffee is the cookie butter latte but I've tried other ones and it's always delicious. The breakfast sandwiches are really yummy as well. My favorite is the turkey sausage and my boyfriend likes the pesto. Every time I go there the staff are always friendly and helpful. They are efficient and make sure everything is how you ordered it. It's a cute place if you want to meet up for a drink or quickly use their convenient drive-thru. read more

Updating my review. The owner claims they don't charge for ice. I encourage you to look at the receipts. I should have just taken a picture of one to point out the lie being told by the owner here. Either you stopped charging for ice. Or an employee was pocketing that money and charging for ice. Either way, DOUBLE CHECK your receipts. read more

The drinks are small and very expensive... I'm all about supporting local, but you have to provide something spectacular if you're not going to be competitive. It was good coffee! Don't get me wrong, but it wasn't worth nearly $8 with no additions or substitutions. You could just go to Starbucks, Black Rock, etc. I'm not sure what makes this place special besides being locally owned. If that's your thing, go for it! I'm just not sure it's for me. read more

Thinking about finding delicious coffee in Arizona? Yeah right. I'm from Seattle, we have coffee in our blood. It did take a bit to get there from where we were but I don't regret it. I spent so long just looking over the menu (btw props for having it online) and I was just blown away by the selection. There was no wait, surprisingly. Keeping in mind I don't do sugar it's hard to find sugar free flavors but they had a pretty impressive selection. The flavor of the coffee was actually good without any extras. The barista was sweet and patient as I asked for a million modifications. But.... Go here, and ask for cookie butter. Trust me. read more

This place is a cute little coffee drive thru with TONS of options. There is a couple of chairs and tables outside for seating, but it's overall a small space primarily for drive thru orders. Their menu has some signature drinks with very "desert-y" names. They have milk substitutes and so many flavors to customize your drink any which way. It's probably one of the most expansive menus I've ever seen in regards to flavors. Staff was so friendly and patient. Good place for a quick coffee! Don't be fooled by their short menu, I'm a "back to the basics" lover when it comes to coffee. I didn't see 'vanilla' anywhere on their menu but I am glad I asked. My go to for a good coffee is a vanilla iced coffee with cream and sugar, and they delivered. Yay! I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but if it's as good as the basic I received, I have good faith. I can't speak on names of who helped, but the younger brunette taking my order was super friendly and helpful, which is always nice when you're trying something new. The middle aged lady who delivered my drink I can't say the same for sadly. She seemed like she may have been having a rough morning. Can't wait to update this review in the future and account her mood as just a bad day and not an attitude. read more

The drink was adequate but not a strong flavor. I expected more from their specialty drink. I, also, noticed on my receipt after I left, that they charged me 50 cents for light ice. No communication on this and anyone that charges that much for an inch more of milk, I'm done. Will not be back. read more

This is a movable trolley so of course it may travel to other stops if they want. I love that they have outside seating and cute signage they changed with the day! You know me I am a sucker for anything chalk art! Today I stopped with my son on our way to Like Days. He's been dying (continually asking) for some fabulous got chocolate. So I said Java Trolley here we come! It did not disappoint. This kid was jumping for joy before, during and after. He said it was tasty! There were so many options and flavors to chose from, but I'm a sucker for a good latte so I went with a caramel iced coffee. The cups come in three sizes. Today I've had A LOT of coffee lol so I settled on a 12oz and it was perfect. Great blend, awesome flavor and not too bitter. We will definite be back! Great job ladies. We are Foodies at heart and love supporting local businesses. Please, this is feedback for the business to improve, and protect customer safety. Location was great in a little strip mall area. Disappointed with dirty tables, an off putting smell and burned out light bulbs. 2 young male employees were chatting behind counter. No customers in store. Menus were sticky and dirty, and were politely asked if it was our first time and why there were different menus. One had sushi, the other poke. The poke items were behind a glass barrier for all to see( like Subway), and selections were so sad with carrots that were dried up looking and other items did not look great. In a Sushi or poke place it is number #1 to present your food quality and selection with only the best. Customers are eating raw seafood items and want to see that your food prep and display are on point. My husband gave the poke a 6/10 for his 3 protein bowl. He said "portions were small, no furikake, selections for condiments were lacking. The 3 different types of tuna were fine". I ordered the 2 protein bowl. I got spicy tuna and shrimp. I asked for only a 1/2 cup of brown rice but mostly salad. The employee the squatted down out of my vision with bare hands, opened the cooler and the came back up with pretty wilted salad greens. He continued to ask me what I wanted , and I too skipped over many selections due to how they looked in the fresh bar. The shrimp was overcook and like rubber bands with a strange aftertaste. I gave my bowl a 2/10. I then excused myself and went to the restroom in rear of buisness. An older employee had just come out of employee entrance door to kitchen wiping his hands on his pants. The bathroom door was disgusting and obviously had not been cleaned in months for all customers eating to see. Remember, this is a restaurant that serves raw food. It should reflect a standard of cleanliness and maintenance to protect the customer. Once inside, the smell was so offensive that I thought" that must be coming from the sewer drain, or........." as I looked around I was repulsed at the condition of the bathroom. An old baby changing station with a stained cloth changing pad was in bathroom as well. Litter all over floors, puddles of stained urine at base of toilet. Floors not mopped. Surfaces had not been cleaned in months. A rusty, filthy garbage can that sat next to toilet, the list goes on. I kept saying to myself "oh no, this is not good because if they lack total knowledge how to keep their customers safe, what and how are they prepping their raw seafood for consumption?" It was all I could do to get that bathroom out of my mind to go eat my poke bowl. Once you opened bathroom door, the smell followed me to my sticky table. I stopped between bathroom and table as I saw the 2 younger employees standing around behind a small storage wall chatting and notified them of bathroom issue. They did not respond. We were only customers in restaurant. I observed after 10 mins( still no other customers) that one employee walked in bathroom and walked immediately out with no attention to the issue. In all my 25 years of food service, I've never seen a worse bathroom, let alone after you pointed out it needed attention, that nothing was done. Our food was was subpar and we were really dissatisfied as the reviews had been the opposite. My recommendations: 1. Clean your bathroom DAILY, especially since it is the only bathroom and both men, women and children use it. No exceptions. If you are keeping a baby changing area, it needs to be a hard cleanable surface, not with a fences and urine stained pad. 2. Clean and repair issues in plain sight of customer and behind in kitchen. 3. No bare handing of food! No exceptions. Put salad in cold case where all can see. Not out of hidden area behind counter. Not acceptable. 4. Employee training on how to handle concerns or complaints. 5. Better selection of poke condiments. They were pretty sad. Like I said before, take this advice and I promise you will get a better reputation and more revenue as you display how much you care about the customer and the restaurant experience. I paid over $50.00 to go out ( a huge treat retired these days)once a week and that place needs attention. BTW.... That was yesterday 6/3/26 and my husband and I both woke up this morning to grumbling bellies and diarrhea. Coincidence??? I want to love the place, but it is a huge pass for me in the future unless they take action to remediate issues above.
