Food was so good. We ordered Saffron Arancini, carrot ginger soup, beef carpaccio and ribeye. Everything was amazing. Highly recommend carrot ginger soup, beef carpaccio and ribeye.

There are a few parking garages, but even those are a pain because people park like idiots. The parking situation isn't On Swann's fault, but it's an annoying factor. We had reservations well in advance, so we didn't have to worry about a wait. It was reasonably busy for a Saturday at brunch time. The decor and overall ambiance was classy but comfortable, which is great imo. Our server was nice and checked on us a good amount of times. The wait time between ordering our food and it coming to the table felt a bit lengthier than I would typically expect, but the food was delicious so it's hard to even complain about that. I got the short rib hash and a croissant and both items were wonderful. The croissant was flaky and buttery, it comes with a honey dip and butter on the side, would def get again. The short rib hash was also a menu item I would order again - the eggs were cooked perfectly, and I'd say I'm a little picky with how runny my eggs are. These were runny, but not TOO runny. The potatoes had a nice crisp to the outside but nice and soft on the inside, the short rib was so tender, so juicy, it was just a very well rounded, great tasting hash. This was my first time visiting On Swann for brunch, I'll be back for sure, but maybe on a weekday instead of the weekend since it seems to get pretty crowded in the Hyde Park Village area!

Service was exceptional, very attentive, friendly and they even gave a card to my sister in law and her husband. Definitely very sweet. Ambience is amazing, modern, romantic and chic. Unfortunately no valet parking, so parking is a little bit of an issue. You have to park on the street around the restaurant and area is not super safe. We had some mocktails that were good. Definitely a great tasting and unique. Roasted golden beets were great, tortellini were amazing, yakitori chicken was exceptional. I think our favorite was garbanzo croquettes. Definitely a great place to be. The quality and creativity is amazing, I think it's definitely one of the best restaurants in Tampa Bay.

We ordered, happy hour wine, a happy hour old-fashioned, the gnocchi, tuna, tartare, and charcuterie on happy hour. These happy hour dishes are $10. Off the happy hour menu we ordered a zucchini dish that was highly recommended. All food was the kind that you take small bits and savor each slowly. All very good. The happy hour portions are very small, but the zucchini was a decent size. I do look forward to going back. The bartenders and servers seem very excited about their jobs and generally love where they work.

They always know our…read moredog, remembering what he likes, how he handles the groom and he loves being there whenever I drop him off. Shan herself has been grooming for many years and is the best to teach her staff regarding each dog, because every breeds coat is not the same, requiring a different cut for each dog...not every groomer acknowledges this fact. Our dog has been coming to Yuppy Puppy for over 7 years and will continue to do so for as long as I can imagine! If you value your dog looking great and getting the best value for your $, I highly suggest Yuppy Puppy for you and your dog!

We have gone to The Yuppy Puppy for over 8 years, since the original owner , Veronica, opened it…read moreand then the grooming academy associated with it. We have always been satisfied with the work they have done and the charge was fair for the services rendered. There has been new ownership for at least three years and we have continued to take both of our dogs there about 6 - 8 times per year. While I would consider us loyal , regular customers apparantly the new owner , Shan, apparantley doesnt think so based on the below listed incident. Two weeks ago we took both dogs, Missy and Roscoe, to be groomed and as usual the owner called after three or four hours to inform me that they were ready for pickup. I called a short time later and informed the owner when i expected to be there. When I arrived i spoke briefly with the owner and as usual asked how they behaved and was every thing done that was requested? She informed me that it was and they behaved well. This conversation and payment took approximately five minutes , was not rushed , and required that the owner consult the card on our dogs. Later that evening as I was rubbing the smaller dog I felt a gash in her collar area. Upon closeer examination I noticed an inch long gash and open wound in her neck area. The slice was such that only a scissor or razor could create such a clean straight cut. Obviously she had been cut while being groomed and I had to assume that it hadnt been noticed or brought to the attention of the owner by the groomer. We called the emergency Vet and he informed us to clean it and go to our local Vet immediately the next day. In the morning I called Yuppy Puppy and informed the woman who answered ( thus alerting the owner of course) of the situation and she informed me that the owner had not arrived yet. I called back a short time later and the owner immediately went the offensive informing me that Missy had the gash prior to coming in and that the Student who was grooming her ( another surpise of course) brought it to her attention prior to doing the grooming. Yet they went ahead and washed , cut and groomed her despite a gaping wound ( actually one large and two smaller gashes) and never thought to inform us before doing the grooming, during the two telephone conversations regarding picking up the dogs or during the lengthy conversation upon picking them up and paying for the groomings. When I informed her that as a professional person and us as long term customers I would expect she would take responsibility for their actions. She became extremely aggressive and said she would not accept that responsiblity , authorized the Student to proceed with the grooming despite the wounds and saw no reason to inform me on either phone conversation or when picking up the dogs. This is a woman who trains future groomers who will have collectively thousands of dogs in their care over their careers! This is the example she sets for them and this is the way she acts towards a long standing good customer!! The fact that she saw no reason to inform us before or after the grooming that the dog had an injury that we were told by our Vet could have infected and festered very easily is outrageous. If you dare put your animals in the hands of this woman I would forewarn you that she should certainly not be licensed for this service, should never be allowed to run a teaching academy and definitely should not be running a business. I will do all I can to insure no one else or their animals are subjected to this treatment. Stay away from The Yuppy Puppy for your animals sake. I only give one star due to the system.
