I'd been wanting to try this place for a while, and finally got a chance. Really enjoyed the tray, across the board. Actually fed 2 of us, which is a great deal, too! Really solid meat and the sides were really good too. People working there were nice and I"m a huge fan of the Heist pod in general. The bar and ample seating inside are great.

It says it's four dollars more for a double brisket, but it's actually 6.25. They might wanna adjust their menu.

The food was good, but I paid 6.25 for a double portion of brisket and receive three small plate slices on my three meat tray

Very impressed with their juicy and meaty briskets! The baby back ribs were also meaty with a nice sweet glaze on it. The Mac and cheese was delicious and the beans were flavorful. Service was fantastic and there's plenty of space for everyone and their dogs to sit and hang. I'll def be back for more.

My husband got the chili Frito pie. I stole some Fritos. He described the chili as really brisket with some red sauce, not too interesting. He also got a side of brisket which I also stole some. It was just okay since Portland has many places with better brisket not sure this will ever rank high enough for us. Their buzzer doesn't have a long range but they told him when to come back if he didn't get buzzed.

This was a great food truck. The courtyard is covered and had plenty of seating. There is a bar inside that sells cocktails, cider and beer. The staff was friendly and there was more than enough food for two with leftovers!

Easy order at the food cart! Me & bf split the pitmaster with 4 meats, 2 sides (Mac n cheese and beans) and the fixins. Brisket and ribs were my fav for sure but he the loved ribs and pulled pork. Mac and cheese and beans were TOPS for me. SO good.

Very yummy bbq out of a food cart? Didn't see that coming. You can tell they care about the craft here. If the mood for BBQ strikes you while you're at heist, then don't hesitate. I only had the sausage, ribs Mac and cheese and coleslaw. Ribs were elite level. You have to get those. Sausage as good as you can get! The Mac and cheese? Forgettable. Coleslaw actually really good. Need to try more of the meats. I bet everything here is quality. (4.6 Stars)

This place is great! Surrounded by so many food options! Nice area to eat. They had physical menus so you can take a peek while you wait in line to order.

This place used to be kinda mid when it opened. But fast forward to 2025 and it's rivaling Matt's or Grassland. Can you see the juice on that Turkey breast? The sides are top notch too. Plus, being located at the hottest new cart pod in Portland doesn't hurt. Go early as it often sells out. Very highly recommended.

Bbq isn't typically my jam but they've started doing wraps and sandwiches on Wednesdays and they've become my go-to lunch spot! The cornbread croutons crumble slightly and give the wrap a super yummy texture, and the sweetness from the cornbread adds a sweet & salty element that I'm loving. The chicken is slightly smokey but not over powering and the lettuce is always fresh (which isn't always the case with wraps from other places). The owner is super passionate about what he does and uses quality ingredients from local businesses and I love that. The portion is huge. 10/10 very satisfying.

Found in the back of a food truck lot at @the heist pdx is bark city barbecue serving up some awesome barbecue. I want to say Portland is an awesome food truck city. The aroma of the smoke as you come walking around the back wafting your way out of the two offset smokers that are very tightly fit with barely any space between fire boxes. I ordered today the Pitmaster's Nap platter that has a little of all the main meats and on top of that I got come extras. The brisket was wonderfully fatty and moist. With it the coffee sauce was wonderful adding a little bitterness and sweetness. The jalapeño cheddar sausage just had this wonderful snap when I bit into it. I do like having it sliced sometimes but nothing beats grabbing a whole sausage and chomping down to feel that snap. The turkey was definitely my favorite regular menu item. So moist and paired with the white sauce. The beef rib laid on a bed of buttery potatoes was so rich and the chimi sauce added the pop of herbiness I needed. It made me think I was eating my veggies in all this protein lol. I scarfed that down so fast I got some of the sauce on my shirt. (Spent some time in the restroom cleaning it off). Better yet, the maple bourbon garlic glazed double smoked pork belly burnt ends!!!!! It's a mouth full and a tasteful. The soft pieces of garlic had none of the pungent flavors just leaving the sweet nutty profiles on top of the sweet maple. It's such a great sauce that I licked the parchment paper clean. Those pork belly burnt ends I could eat all day. The different flavors I get that deviate from the "traditional" keeps it interesting and I loved every bite of the meal. :)

Delicious brisket and pork ribs, with sides that were decent. Also ordered a brisket burger that was very juicy and had the right amount of thickness. The Red Eye bbq sauce was unique with its addition of coffee. Service was good and quick . A bit on the pricey side but that's bbq, you're paying for quality! Will come back

3 meat platter, added the spicy sausage.

First time trying this place out and it didn't disappoint, service was great answered any questions we had. On to the food we had the 3 meat platter, brisket which was very juicy, baby back ribs and spare ribs both had their distinct touch. Sides were the bbq beans really good flavor and the potato salad was good. Price point was great for what we got compared to a few other local places $47 dollars for the food had to get drinks for the Safeway a block away which wasn't a big deal.

The building is a very casual place, as you walk in the friendly staff greet you and ask you to take a seat wherever you like. We decided to sit in the backside of the building it is a very peaceful section by the kitchen, you can smell the amazing smokey scent of the bbq from there. The walls are covered black and white cowboy pictures. As someone mention in their review, parking is a little challenging but we found parking in the neighborhood within 5 min. The Menu is simple and to the point, one page is drinks the other page is the BBQ, We shared the Pit Boss Platter, you will find that it feeds 2-3, you get a 1/4 pound of brisket and pulled pork, 2 pork ribs, 1 link (very good size) cornbread and your choice of 2 sides, we choose the collard greens and the the green chile mac and cheese. Everything was amazing. It was plenty for the two of us that shared it, we actually took some of it home, I also tied in the pickles, the are served with pickled onions and jalapeños (yummy). The BBQ flavor was amazing, nice and smoky , great smoke rings, they table drop in three different sauces, a vinegar oil, a surprisingly tasty mustard sauce and their house bbq sauce, they are all great tasting. My son ordered the 2 meat plate, he loved the Brisket and Ribs, he also tried the Pinto beans with Brisket, they were very tasty. Overall Podnah's lived up to the hype. If you are in the area its worth a try.

We ended up cutting things out of our order to compensate for that. Honestly, I'm totally fine with restaurants making the food pricier to make up for costs, but adding a huge mandatory tip is a iffy. There are plenty of really good bbq places in the area that will give you comparable food without that. Neither myself or anyone in my party will be going back while this is still present, sadly.

Pictured is a "half pound of brisket" for $23.00 and 60%-70% of it is just inedible fat! What was edible (3.4 ounces), was honestly disgusting and looks nothing like the photos they show online, as you can see for yourself. $11.00 for a cup of sour smelling banana pudding that was immediately tossed in the trash. $4.00 for a "chicken breast" that was literally 2 bites... This is the second and last time we will ever order from them again. I have never been more disappointed in an order of food in my entire life. We spent over $70 for the brisket as shown, a small salad with 2 bites of chicken, soggy coleslaw and sour banana pudding. Beyond unacceptable! Never again and truly hope this saves someone else from the disappointment that Reverend's BBQ truly is. Complete waste of money! Edit: It has been about 45 minutes since I ate what little of the brisket that was actually meat and not just fat, and I am extremely nauseous. Not worth the money, disappointment or naseau. Break up the yolk to dip with the pork.
