Platter of pork ribs and salmon burnt ends, along with potato salad, cole slaw, and pickles.

I liked that Podnah's has a nice indoor and outdoor dining space, and it's fun to see a Sunday brunch option to give a bit of diversity in trying BBQ. I stuck with the basics by getting the two meat platter which comes with choice of two meats and two sides. Overall, I felt everything was cooked well, but there were some highs and lows. I ordered the pork ribs, and they were nicely crusty but tender. Then I was intrigued to see "salmon burnt ends." I usually hear of pork belly burnts ends so thought salmon would be an interesting healthier option? (I do love salmon.) It didn't look necessarilly like the "ends" but they were cuts of salmon strips that were nicely smoked that created a crusty edge and tender interior, but there was a lot of oil in the salmon for some reason. So it ate greasy. I also felt the BBQ sauces at the table didn't feel that exciting, they were a bit wet and not thick. For the sides I had the potato salad and cole slaw. The potato salad broke down to the point it was almost like whipped potato, although the taste was not bad. I liked the vinegary taste of the cole slaw, which also had added peppers. It's a decent BBQ spot, and service was great.

I love BBQ and ribs in particular. I came to Podnah's hungry for lunch and got their double rib plate with beans and collards. There are three BBQ sauces at the table - original, vinegar, and mustard. All were very tasty. I left so full that I did not eat dinner. Parking was hard to find in the local neighborhood and I walked a couple of blocks. Inside and outside seating. Please come and create your own adventure.

Always delicious! Friendly servers! Very casual but a fun place. We usually come when we are visiting our kids in Portland.

This place is a ripoff. 2 meats and 2 sides with these kind of portions for $30, with mandatory 20% gratuity included, is a waste of money. The pulled pork and brisket was nothing to rave about. I've had outstanding ones in South Carolina and Georgia at a more reasonable price. I won't be returning to this scam restaurant.

Its been awhile since I have been back to Podnahs. We came for lunch to try out their special wings for wings week, which was pretty decent. For me, the jalepeno cheddar sausage stole the show. I would come back and get it everytime. Its super flavorful and bursting with cheese. I also want to come back and do their dinner specials.

I placed an order for delivery via Uber Eats. I ordered the two meat plate with brisket, a sausage link, potato salad, and green chili Mac and cheese. I also ordered a cup of Texas Red Chili and it came with cornbread. Podnah's did not send my complete order; the green chili Mac, my favorite, was missing. Order accuracy is important and Uber did nothing to rectify the situation. I guess I'll have to stop ordering from here. The chili was meaty but not flavorful at all. I tasted hot and that's it. There should have been some flavor to it. The cornbread was okay, but didn't really have flavor to it. Not sure who is cooking and packaging orders, but someone else needs to do it.

Amazing tender delicious brisket, pulled pork, Mac n cheese. loved the service. Sauces are on point. A little far for me but tried it for the first time. Will return when in the area.

The happy hour menu is very limited, but the choices are good and prices are great! Our server was fantastic! FYI - gratuity (tip) is included already.

I really wanted to like this place but it fell short for me. I drive by here all the time since it's so close to where I live and see people sitting outside every night so I thought it must be a popular spot. I ordered takeout and they were nice enough to let me eat it there. The customer service was definitely 5 stars. The servers were really nice and attentive to me. Unfortunately I didn't love anything that I ordered. The potato salad had way too many onions and the brisket was very dry. The sauces weren't great either. I love cornbread so was disappointed that the cornbread wasn't flavorful and it had no sweetness. I did put butter and honey on it since they had that at the tables which made it better.

stars $37 for four ribs and an automatic 18% gratuity... seriously? The ribs had a decent smoke line, but everything else missed. The coleslaw was the worst I've ever had (sent it back), the beans were mediocre, and the whole plate tasted like straight vinegar with zero balance. Ironically, the Hazy IPA and the fries were the best things I had--which says a lot for a BBQ place. Not impressed. Not coming back.

Breakfast biscuit, potato, egg, and cheese taco, mingas breakfast.

Sunday brunch was great. Super tasty. Coffee was yummy. Highly recommend the biscuit with honey! Service was good.

I'm really hoping the night we visited was just an off night ? But wow--this was incredibly disappointing. We came for my birthday dinner, and not only were our plates served extremely cold, but I also found a long hair in my salad, which had to be taken back. Nothing was seasoned. The ribs were tough and far from "falling-off-the-bone," the brisket was just okay, and the coleslaw tasted soggy, like it had been sitting for a week. Others in our party ordered the fried chicken and the fish plate but unfortunately, those dishes didn't stand out either. Our server only checked in on us once the entire night, though I understand it was busy. This place came highly recommended by a coworker and has great reviews, so I'd be willing to give it another chance but I honestly can't find the words to describe how disappointing this visit was.

I've heard about Podnah's a lot so when we were craving BBQ, it was time to check them out! The restaurant is located in a busy area of Killingsworth with several other food places. The food was really good! I had the brisket plate with BBQ beans, potato salad and corn bread. The portions were fairly large. I'm not a huge fan of potato salad with raw onion and celery in it, but the flavor was good! We got there around 7, our food came very quickly! However, they close at 8 and the staff started cleaning up around us about halfway through our meal, which I hate to see. It makes me feel rushed and unwanted. I'm sure that happens at every restaurant but ... I hate it!

    Is it halal?

No, although I am not 100% certain, I am at least 95% sure. And based upon the deadpanned interaction, or lack thereof that I received being African American, I'm going 99.9% sure, they are not halal!!!

    Do they have air-conditioning?

No! It's hot as hell inside so we ate outside:

    Do you accept reservations?
