I have a Maltipoo, and as a first-time pet owner, learning how to care for my dog's coat has been challenging. However, I've been open to feedback and advice along the way. Since I started coming here, I've really appreciated the helpful recommendations on brushes and products they've suggested. When I bring her in, she is super nervous so drop offs are pretty hard but overall I like the grooming service that they provide

This is my second time here. They are great, my dog gets pretty nervous around groomers but he was wiggling his little butt when he saw the groomers he was so happy to see them. Great costumer service and it is very apparent they care.

Eyelids and lashes all cut to the skin. Snout is red and lesions on cheek.

My dog is still in pain and crying from the groom. I am so disappointed and heartbroken about this. I won't ever subject her to this again.

Great service and prices - super happy that we found this grooming salon! Our dog looks great after her "spa" services and they get her back to us in no time! Highly recommend Barkhouse No 14!

We had a great experience with the self washing. They provided everything needed to wash the dogs. The facilities are very clean and the owner is very friendly and extremely accommodating. My dogs had a great experience and we will be back.

Had a great experience here today. Lisa groomed our boy Charlie. He looks great. We booked our next appointment. Clean, friendly atmosphere.

I have used every service they offer (day care, bath, nail care, enrichment, etc.) and every time, my pups leave the facility happy and tired. From the jump, they were accommodating and so great with me and my dogs. My older dog passed their interview easily but my little one didn't pass his interview the first time around. But there was no judgment. They quickly assured me he would more than likely pass the 2nd time. After he did pass, they have been so excited every time they come in. Now, they are jumping out of their paws every morning when I take them in the car and they know where we are going. The staff have always been so nice to me when I pick up and drop off. No matter who I deal with, they are always kind and a joy to talk to. I also make sure to check in with them to see if my dogs are having behavioral issues and give them heads up if one of my boys is feeling "spicy" or extra needy any certain day. Or if I am stuck in traffic on my way home and cutting it close to closing time, I call them and let them know I am on the way. That communication goes a long way with my rapport with the staff. And in the end, my pups win out. They get to play and socialize with other humans and dogs and it shows in their behavior out of camp. If you need consistent day care, boarding, and any extras, I can't sing Camp Bow Wow praises enough to anyone in Tracy with pups. If you don't believe me, see the photos below. You can't make up those happy pup photos.

This will be the first and last time I will take my baby here. I booked a private suite with a camera so I can always check on her, that being said , I noticed they don't take the dogs to the play area till 9:30 which is so late compared to the other camp. I called and left messages to check on my baby but never got a call back. They didn't even let me know that my dog had diarrhea and vomited not until I asked them. Very disappointing! Then during the Labor Day they didn't tell me that the dogs will have minimal hours at the yard. My dog spent most of her time in her room with minimal playtime ! Not sure if this location is understaffed but it breaks my heart that the dogs at this location spends most of their time at the crate and not playing with other dogs. I feel so bad and heartbroken for my dog and other dogs that stay at this particular camp. Management needs to step up!

Our dog Mochi recently started having seizures (two of which happened at Jules Vet) that seem to be caused by anxiety / stress. Jules vet has gone the extra mile to make sure his appointments since then are as stress free and comfortable as possible for him. We had an appointment yesterday and I was worried he'd have another seizure. They called in advance and had a plan in place to make sure all went smoothly (which it did). Dr. Olsen is amazing and has helped walk us through this new journey of having a pet with epilepsy. She has helped put our minds at ease and educated us on how to care for him if he has another one and we will continue to monitor him in case he needs anything else. We really appreciate Dr. Olsen and the Jules Vet team so much. It is evident that they love animals and care about every patient they see. Thanks again Jules Vet!

From the moment we scheduled the appointment, Jules' team was kind, sincere, and incredibly accommodating. When we arrived, someone quickly guided us into a private room, giving us the space and privacy to say our final goodbyes. You could feel the empathy in the room -- the staff genuinely understood how painful this moment was for us. Epic wasn't just a pet; she was part of our family. We spent nearly an hour holding her, reminiscing, and even helping our almost 5-year-old daughter begin to understand the cycle of life and death. The vet was gentle, detailed, and respectful, explaining the process with so much care that it helped ease some of our grief. They gave us the option to keep a piece of Epic with us -- clipping a bit of her fur and offering a keepsake paw print, which arrived a few days later for pick up. It was beautifully done and means so much to us now. While no goodbye is ever perfect, and there are always little things you wish could be different in hindsight, the team at Jules made an impossibly hard day just a little softer. They treated us -- and Epic -- with dignity, patience, and love. We weren't just another family. Epic wasn't just another dog. Thank you, Jules Vet, for helping us say goodbye in the most caring way possible.

I'm here to see Jack, who will be helping me to train my new puppy to help combat my on going PTSD issues. NARRATIVE: I can only write this review about my interactions with Jack, since he has been the only person I've had direct contact with. Jack is a true professional (aka: Dog Whisperer). My first visit with him with my pup was an indoctrination meeting. Basically, I sat and Jack watched how my dog dealt new surroundings and some unexpected, never had my seen before items. During the hour interaction with both my dog and I, Jack asked questions and gave me tips on how I can start getting my pup to reach the goals I expect and wish her to perform. Jack is patient. Attentive and like myself, gruff. I like that! SCENE: K9 Development is located in rural Tracy, off of Hansen Road, behind the Safeway distribution warehouse. The road getting to Jack and Amy's is a compacted gravel road with speed bumps along the way. The maximum speed limit is 10 miles per hour. No rooster tails unless you wish to find out what I mean when I say Jack can be gruff. RECOMMENDATION(S): Like I stated, I can only speak for my interactions with Jack which thus far have been fantastic. I have talked to other dog owners who have taken their dogs to see Amy for training. Those conversations were all of phrase too. If you're in need of dog training, boarding or supplies, go see the folks at K9 Development. I'd recommend it.

A little backstory--Athena was a COVID puppy, so she didn't get the proper early socialization she needed, especially with other dogs. On top of that, being a Belgian Malinois, she has very unique needs. Her prey drive is incredibly high, and so was her anxiety. Walks used to be stressful--she would react to every noise, person, or animal. Even getting her into the car felt like wrestling a bear. After training with Olivia, it honestly felt like we got a whole new dog back. Athena still has some anxiety and that natural Malinois prey drive, but now I have the tools and confidence to manage both effectively. We now go on daily walks--often twice a day. I've taken her to large parks and on short hikes, and she's been amazing. I'm even planning to take her on a multi-day camping and hiking trip--something I never would have imagined before her training. The biggest difference is that Olivia didn't just train my dog--she trained me too. She gave me the knowledge and tools to continue working with Athena at home, and Athena has taken to it like a fish to water. It's such a great feeling to have a smart, engaged, and obedient dog to enjoy life with. I can't thank Olivia enough for everything she's done. I highly recommend Olivia and Countryside Canine!

I sent my 10-month-old Australian Shepherd to board and train with Olivia and, in the best way…read morepossible, he came back a different dog: the same sweet personality, but with dramatically better self-control. I enrolled him for three weeks and ended up adding a fourth. His biggest challenges were reactivity, anxiety, recall, and staying engaged with me around distractions. Before training, he would bark and lunge at strangers, bolt through open doors, and ignore commands the moment something more interesting appeared. Now he's calm on and off leash, reliably holds commands until released, and consistently checks back in with me instead of running off. What impressed me most wasn't just the behavior change, it was the foundation Olivia built. Nix now understands how to look to me for guidance when he's distracted, stressed, or uncertain. The results have been more durable and meaningful than anything I achieved through months of research, classes, private lessons, and thousands of dollars spent on training. I was initially skeptical of board and trains, and balanced training methods, particularly e-collars and slip leads, because of so many traumatic videos out there. Olivia completely changed my perspective. She uses these tools thoughtfully, gently, and effectively--not to intimidate or hurt dogs, but to communicate clearly despite distractions. Nix isn't fearful or shut down; if anything, he's more confident, more relaxed, and more connected to me than ever before. Of all the money I've spent on training, Olivia's board-and-train was by far the best investment I've made in my dog. The transformation has been remarkable, and our relationship is stronger because of it.
