The folks at Barnett Kia were amazing to deal with from the start. The start being April 2020, so yes, they were fabulous even through the pandemic. However this review is centered around another visit. The Seltos I leased in April 2020, was leaking oil in January 2021. I brought it to the Kia in Bloomington and got nothing but the run around for a week. They told me it would take AT LEAST a month for the repair, on top of the week my car was hanging out there waiting to be diagnosed. I called Martin, explaining the situation, wanting a second opinion. Martin sent someone down that very day to grab my car and equip me with a loaner. Martin was attentive, detailed, and understanding of my frustrations. He kept me in the loop the entire process! Once my car was under the care of Barnett, it was eight days till I was driving my Seltos again!! AND he organized some cosmetic work to be done in the process. Martin went above and beyond in this situation and turned my frown upside down. If you are in need of a new car, but are scared of car salesman, go see Martin at Barnett, he treats you like a person. I took my car in recently using their "summer maintenance" coupon and 60K maintenance work. I explicitly asked for a tire rotation since I do many road trips during the summer. My bill was for the above, plus a couple of "services" that were not discussed but were evidently "needed parts of the 60K service" that were not discussed. In addition, FOUR "Convenience Fees" were added to different services which I initially was told was "shop supplies" then a few minutes later was told were credit card usage fees which nobody told me about nor is stated in any of their documentation anywhere (totaled $15). Since I chalk a unique symbol on the back of two tires before I take my car in for a tire rotation, I was very easily able to tell that they did not do the tire rotation. If you value your car, take your car to a different, ethical, communicative and transparent automotive shop. read more

Came in after doing some research for our next vehicle purchase, and we were immediately sat down and grilled about financing and what we are trading in, rather than what we were looking for. We were treated very poorly when we mentioned we wanted to possibly finance. We wanted to see the EV9 specifically but weren't asked which trim level -he pulled up a lower trim without word, when I asked about the higher trim we're were actually interested in, he said they didn't have one, I mentioned the website said they did which he immediately dismissed with well then it must be sold because I haven't seen one in a while. After going to multiple dealerships today this was by far the worst experience today and that I've probably ever had. I would avoid this dealer, seriously don't bother if you're in the market for a new vehicle, especially if you don't have cash in hand. read more

so back in August I went to Barnett with intention to buy a new RAM. while there I asked about a used mini van to also purchase. In the end I leased a RAM and bought the van which they had listed on their website for 1000$ cheaper than they were charging me. after just 3 weeks the van engine started ticking and I took it to a shop that said it was in the lower engine. when I contacted Barnett I was told sorry, you bought it. Mr. Barnett, I wanted to give you awareness of the quality of customer service that I have received from your new car sales staff at Barnett Kia, White Bear Lake. Since late last year I have made 5-7 inquiries to your company about the upcoming EV9 SUV, looking to get really any and all information that your staff may have on this vehicle. The majority of my interactions with your sales staff has been confusingly and surprisingly hostile, condescending, and curt with no obvious provocation on my part. Your staff clearly demonstrated that in many cases they were not even listening to my very straight forward questions. Not to mention that on several occasions the info they did give me was blatantly false. I say that the tone, demeanor, volume level, and aggressiveness of your staff was confusing and surprising because the topic of conversation was not even remotely contentious (Do you have any details on the trim level, cost, availability, reservation process, warranty, etc. . . ). I wasn't calling to complain or ask for anything unreasonable - I just was looking for info. As for me - I am a loyal car brand owner that has been purchasing Lexus and Volvo from our area for decades. My family built our forever home in the White Bear Lake area, my wife is a small business owner in WBL for the last 15 years and I work at a nearby Medical Device Manufacturer for over 20 years. We know and love the White Bear Lake, are raising our children here and make an active effort to contribute to local businesses that drive value into our community. We have two teenage children that have just become driving age. I have a nephew from out west that is a master mechanic and has nothing but great things to say about the Kia brand, its quality, features and reliability. I am sold on shifting brands to Kia and WILL BE purchasing a 75k+ flagship luxury EV9 SUV, and most likely one if not two mid-level crossover Kia's for my children. Unfortunately for everyone involved, I will not be traveling the 3.6 miles from my home to your dealership to spend 6 figures on Kia vehicles, because you have lost this customer before I have even walked in your door. Given that I didn't have my experience once from one person but multiple times from multiple people over multiple months. I have a strong suspicion that my experiences with your staff is not a "one-off". Looking at other negative reviews of Barnett Kia, White Bear Lake this seems to be a systemic culture/training issue. This time I had the joy of working with Dan the parts guy :) 2nd time. Always fun and amazing. Dan (1st time and shares an office with Steve) was fantastic too. Steve has always been a great person to work with and has been my go to when a series of unfortunate events happened last year AND working together and communicating made everything turn out well. I will, never, ever, did I say never, buy another car from this organization. First and foremost reason being that service department appointments shouldn't be outsourced to a Third World country. I left a callback number, which in fairness, they did return my call in a reasonable expectation of time. Keeping in mind, however, they just called me back, first question from her was my phone number. To which I replied "the number you just called". She then asked my address, which I reluctantly gave her seeing as I didn't think she was coming to my house to fix my car. She then asked the reason for requiring an appointment. I explained that I had received a notice in the mail from Kia stating that there was a very important recall on my model Kia regarding engine problems. Rather than making an appointment at that point, she then asked me for the certificate number of the recall. Why I should be expected to know that versus the company that issued the recall is beyond me. There is no more to my tale since that's the point at which I hung up the phone. If you live Kia, that's great, but Barnett Kia is not a wise choice. I don't much care for the aesthetics of dealerships, as they all look fake anyways. Don't worry about that at Barnett. they put zero effort into making their dealership seem appealing. Perhaps they could invest some of the money ABOVE MSRP that they are charging on their vehicles to repair their crumbling building and parking lot. But hey, if you love spending more money for the same car, by all means, Barnett is the place for you. You may say, but they have the 1 million mile warranty! EL OH EL. You know they void that warranty as fast as they can. And guess what, even if you utilize the Kia warranty at their service department, plan on waiting months to get in and have no loaner cars available. that's right, they don't provide any loaner cars. They won't admit it, but this is not a Kia requirement but other Kia dealerships do offer loaners. Do your research before you buy at Kia Barnett. read more

What an odd experience!!! I live an hour away from the dealer. Very interested in a car on their lot and asked them to hold it for me until the end of the day when I can get there. Was told it's a $2,000 non-refundable deposit to hold the car. I haven't opened the door on this car yet or driven it for a test drive as I looked at it on a Sunday (business closed) and they want 2k non-refundable payment. Yes NON-REFUNDABLE. Never heard of such a thing and can now safely remove them from a dealership I'd consider doing business with for the rest of my life. Had a "snotty" sales person "Crystal" or something this morning that said they had a complete service history. Called back right now and reached another employee that told me they have no service history on the car. 15k miles lease turn-in. This dealer is simply "winging it". My advise is to look anywhere else that this place. What an odd "sneaky" experience today. So happy I found out before a purchase. Hanging up on your staff did not happen. I realized I would never do business with a dealer like this. Our call mutually ended. No explanation of this one off position is needed. I wouldn't want to drive an hour only to not have the car I'm interested in not be there. That's a waste of everyone's time. I've purchased over 20 cars myself and have never had a seller work against a customer like this place does. I'm glad I now know. Great experience. Nick Diaz was a fantastic sales person. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and was not pushy. Gave my husband and I space to privately discuss but was available to answer questions. Walked us through leasing vs purchasing, trucks vs minivans, explained trade ins and some other details we were unsure about in the entire process. Helped inform us so we could figure out what we wanted. After we were done he helped show me how everything worked and got my phone connected. Also, the gentleman that worked with us signing all our paperwork made us feel like family. He was genuinely interested in our lives and it made us not want to leave. Barnett KIA is terrible. Will not do business with them again and strongly discourage others as well. They sold my daughter a complete pile of crap used car in 1/2023. Spent a couple thousand after owning it for 3 months. Mechanic in Duluth said it was pretty clear that recent work had been done but just not done well. Had to bring it in recently for a check engine light. Had something to do with the turbo by pass valve line (I'm not a mechanic). Mechanic in Fargo said the hose that was "installed" wasn't even the right hose and hence couldn't be installed securely, but yet somebody tried. I called after the first issue in 2023. No sympathy. No return call to discuss. I went in today to see if they wanted to work something out and try to retain our business. No interest. My family of 6 will never buy another car from Barnett. read more

I received a very competitive quote from truecar.com, and I quickly received a phone call from a sales agent to schedule a test drive and to confirm that Barnett would honor the true car quote. The test drive went smoothly and the sales agent was transparent and not too pushy about any add ons. Finance was a total breeze and likewise very transparent. From everything I could tell, proper safety precautions in line with the governor's COVID mandates were being taken. If you're looking for a straight shooting and efficient car buying experience, with fair and transparent pricing, I'd strongly recommend the folks at Barnett. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. Like with any car buying experience, it pays to be prepared and to do your research ahead of time. Know what you should be paying and what to expect of a dealer and buying a car can be a breeze. Sales men and managers lie, they try to tell you it's a requirement to add additional packages to vehicles before purchasing, "Minnesota required package" which is not even a law anywhere in the state of Minnesota. They Advertise vehicles at MSRP price but prices do not actually match because they have added the miscellaneous fees that don't mean anything. I should have examined the reviews before visiting Barnett Chrysler Plymouth Jeep Kia. The initial salesman, Aaron, was nice, but like most salesman, he can't make decisions or extend/accept offers. His job is to answer basic questions, show vehicles, and go on test drives. After the preliminary, friendly bantering, he requested me to make an offer (on the TWO vehicles I was going to pay CASH for). I made an offer and of course, after his clickety-clack on the calculator, my offer was nowhere near what he was thinking. To save my time, I simply asked to have his manager simply give me his final, best price. Stop wasting time and let's talk numbers. Rather than return with what I requested and give me a price, the general manager (Mr. Barnett) returns to teach me how car sales works [insert long, exhausting sigh here whereby more of my time can be wasted]. His tone, comments, and body language were rude, condescending, and defensive. It took another 5 minutes of me asking to finally get what could only be considered an "offer"..."I can maybe give you $800 off" (for the two vehicles). Notwithstanding that this dealership would be saving taxes for year end sales on two cars and I was ready to pay cash for them, the dealers' last comment of, "Well, if these numbers ever start to make sense to you, give me a call," was enough. My Uncle bought a 2014 Jeep Wrangler in 2014, brand new off the lot, and purchased the extended warranty. He was an elderly man, who did not drive more than 50 miles per week. When he did in August unexpectedly, he only had 12,800 miles on it. I inherited the jeep and found that the ABS light was going on suddenly and brought it in for service. Was informed there were over $4,000 worth of repairs; including new breaks and extensive engine repairs) and that the warranty couldn't be used because my uncle passed away; cancelling the warranty. When I asked to talk to a manager, they refused. Upon picking up the vehicle, it now sounds like there is water swimming every time I start it, and the engine is barely starting. I took my car in for an oil change and they recommended I replace my air filter. I gave them the go ahead to do so and after that I had issues with my heat and a/c and my car is making weird noises. I took it back in, which I appreciate them getting it in again right away. but they told me all this other stuff was wrong and not related to anything they did which was suspiciou. I ended up having them do the work because I need my car for work. well my car is still making a noise it has never made and when I called they told me it would be almost 2 weeks before they could look at it. just very unhappy with the service and being treated like I know nothing because I'm a woman. Worst parts and service experience I've ever experienced in my life. I have a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee with lifetime warranty. The front passenger seat belt retractor stopped working - so a MAJOR safety issue - seat belt doesn't work at all. I took it into Barnett for the warranty repair - after 2 hours they tell me, "Yes, it's covered under warranty, we have to order the part". I have been waiting since January 17th, 2022 for a seat belt retractor. I'm not sure if they are only selling them or don't want to work on warranty items - after many calls, and many times being told the part will be in next week, in 2 weeks, yada yada - September 14, 2022 - told again, part won't be in until 9/29 - so over 9 months to get a part. I decide to call around and find one in Roseville, scheduled the repair for next week. So, Barnett and your supply chain issue excuse is a bunch of garbage. Barnett will never, ever get any of my business ever again - I have purchased 4 jeeps in my life - 1 from Barnett - but I will never buy or give any Barnett any of my business ever - and I will let anyone I know how terrible this business is. read more

Stopped in yesterday for a Safety Recall...I had bought my car up the road @ CarMax so I expected a little....pushback....since I wasn't their customer....psssshh...wrong! I also asked, if time, to look @ my NAV sinvce it just stopped working about 6 months, said Maps Locked. Also asked her to check in to the fob since sometimes it wasn't recognized... and even when it was on the seat, a message would come up "Key has left the vehicle. In an hour the safety recall was corrected, the NAV issue was determined, and a new radio is being ordered. The fob issue was discovered to be a battery needing to be replaced. Zero stars! ZERO. Management at this KIA dealership REFUSED to lease me a new $50,000 Kia vehicle because they claimed they don't lease vehicles that will be registered out of state. After the vehicle was picked out and negotiated on with the salesman the salesperson comes back to me and said his manager told him that they would not lease me the vehicle. When I questioned the salesperson he told me that he knew the manager was wrong. I called Kia Financial and they told me several times that there is no reason that the dealership shouldn't lease me this vehicle. I will be filing a formal complaint with KIA corporate and The better business bureau. This dealership is a PRIME example of why people hate car buying and shifty dishonest staff at dealerships. My 2017 Kia Niro purchase and interaction with the salesperson and owner were more than acceptable. I do not have a problem recommending this dealer for purchasing. Regarding service: (Dec 2017) I had an oil change and tire rotation which ran about $110 and cost me 2 plus hours of time on my first service visit. I was told the time was not the norm. I can believe it was a rare occurrence. However my car had a scuff in the paint on a fender along with a small dent after service which I did not realize until that evening. I drove and parked the car throughout the day but seeing as how my car had been damaged prior during the accessory install I tend to think it happened there but without proof I cannot pint a finger but it seemed very coincidental. Hence I took my car to another Kia Dealership for the second round of identical service. Waiting area much improved. Car was done in about an hour but at about 60% of the cost at Barnett. I looked through the bill to find that I had been charged $4 more a quart for synthetic oil as well as for five quarts (but hey, the car only takes four). Other cost differences were sort of what one might expect, I guess. I have also asked to have service folks give me a call on an issue but never heard back after multiple attempts. Where do I start after taking my car to two other repair shops I was told that the suspension needed to be taken to the dealer to be fixed because of experience with the system service. There was good until I came back with a problem after they had done the diagnostic for the suspension Granted my car does have some damage done to it in an accident over the winter that is being fixed I decided to just speak with the service manager just to get to the point quicker about my issue when my car was brought in one of the headlamps worked perfectly one headlight bulb did not work. I knew this , when I was driving home from work that same day after having my diagnostic done, my headlamp no longer worked I expressed his concern to the service manager, and he completely blamed me immediately and told me that in his exact words that my car was effed up and it's my fault Spoke to me in the very callous manner as if I was a lower life or would you probably may have thought me being a black man with dreadlocks after several minutes of going back-and-forth he actually offered to replace the bulb that was in the headlamp that I said worked. I said OK sat down in my car. He came back within 10 minutes and said no he's not doing anything because it cost $250 for a bulb. I know for a fact after looking on the Mopar website that the bulbs do not cost 250 but if you do come to Barnett or any jeep dealership, they have a mark up on their parts on low power parts so it's gonna cost you more. I knew that walking in the door. I also knew how expensive it would be to get my car fixed. Also had planned to get some thing finance so that I can get my car fixed at the dealership that is done correctly I have never in my life been treated by a repair shop like this even by a manager I've been things have happened but they made an attempt to fix it . He made no attempt. He basically told me F you and get out. Now I'm a find a way to get my car fixed somewhere else at whatever price you may be because I was treated like a piece of crap by a man who I have no idea who is don't even know his name. I feel like I would've actually still gotten it fixed if he would've gave me the ball because they would've showed an effort to make right or wrong that I believe they had accidentally done. Planned to do work while I was waiting using WiFi - so far not positive - I was expecting a similar customer lounge as Maplewood Toyota - I could not have been more wrong - a windowless room of not so great chairs next to the parts counter and a loud TV on the other end. They should take some lessons from Maplewood Toyota - which has decent clean waiting area with places to work (like hoteling cubes at work) while you wait. I will see how the service is when done - not looking forward to the next 90 minutes in this room. They list a deep discount to get you there, but upon arriving advise you that the list of discounts detailed on the email totalling a 9% are almost all items that you are not qualified for ex: lease owner discount, military discount etc. ( the next dealer I visited actually stated this happens in the local market even thought I did not prompt him to do so ) I used the kelly blue book trade value for my car and there offer was 15% less than the Kelly trade value or 27% less than retail sale value. I've received 12-13% off of 2009 , 2012 same models and received fair trade value on same model in texas... time to look elsewhere for a fair deal. Why not here? read more

Here is the letter I sent them after my visit. Yesterday I brought my vehicle into your shop for a recall repair. I have been putting this off for some time because of my attempt to keep social interactions to a bare minimum due to the coved virus. However repeated notices made me believe that this recall was something that needed to be done and could not be put off any longer. I was distressed when I arrived at the shop to see the service manager behind his desk and not wearing a mask. As I approached he asked what he could do to help me And I told him that he could put on a mask which he did. While waiting for him to write-up my order I observed several employees walking back-and-forth across the service Bay some of which were also not wearing masks. On my way to the waiting Room I stopped at the parts department to inquire about the price of a new set of tires for my car. Nobody in the parts department was wearing a mask. There was a plexiglass shield that partially covered the space between me and the person behind the counter but The CDC does not consider such a screen alone to be sufficient to limit the spread of the coronavirus. Plus the employees Sharing the parts department were not following the current state mask mandate and were putting each other at risk. I don't understand why employees in a business such as yours would be so cavalier regarding the state mask mandate but I can only make several assumptions. Perhaps they are sending the message that they are not democrats. Or maybe that They are independent thinkers who refuse to do something just because the government tells them to. Or maybe they think that like our president they know more than the scientist's And therefore will make up their own rules. Or maybe they simply just do not like wearing masks because they are uncomfortable and they choose do not do so if at all possible. In any case I know that for them to behave in this matter must reflect the Opinions and attitudes of the management. The message I received however is that the employees care more about themselves than they do about me the customer. I know that this is not consistent with the customers first image your business would like to advertise. I have purchased 2 vehicles from you in the last 5 years and had servicing done on both of them. But I no longer feel safe in your shop given yesterday's experience. I will not be back at least until after this virus is over and by then I may have found another dealership where I feel more comfortable and cared for. I am sure you are aware that about 80% of the population believes that masks are important and wear them every time they go out in public. Although some of them may continue to do business with you I am sure that there are others like myself who will choose to take their business elsewhere because of experiences like I had. Perhaps Losing my business does not make much difference to you but understand that there may be many others like me that are doing the same thing but not telling you about it. These are difficult times and we all need to cooperate in order for both our population and our businesses To remain healthy. I can't figure out why he is telling me this at noon??? Next day I call around 11:30 and they can't even give me an idea when it will be done? I go in at 1:00 again no idea when it will be done. Do not go here for service! I could have probably avoided additional damage and a huge repair bill if they had found what the real problem was. They do not know what to look for or listen to what I explained. I went in with grinding noise coming from the back end of the vehicle. They drove it and decided it was a front wheel bearing and replaced that. They said the noise from the back end was just tire noise. I didn't think that was right, but thought they would know more about the vehicle than I did. Wrong!! Two weeks later my truck broke down in the middle of an out of state move with a blown rear axil seal, rear bearing damage, the entire rear differential damaged and needed to replace it. After replacing that in the middle of Iowa the truck no longer has the "TIRE NOISE" they used as an excuse. WARNING please please do not buy or get your vehicle serviced from here! I know this is another bad review but people please listen! Barnett, what the heck is a visual safety inspection? And why are you under the assumption that anything was explained to me?! I scheduled my appointment online for a used car inspection, I dropped my car off told her about the noise and left. I guess I am just to trusting and expected you to do your job. If my inspection didn't include them looking and investigating the noise or if it was extra why wasn't that addressed? How can you inspect a noise visually? Barnett, I am so disappointed in your actions, instead of listening to me, you assume I was talked to, you assume things you shouldn't. I am telling you I had very limited interaction with your staff, I trusted you took care of your customers. Why does my invoice say the inspection you keep saying was provided for me complimentary but yet you charge 164.00.... your staff won't talk to me, I have reached out multiple times and no call back. I had just bought a Jeep Liberty not from them and wanted them to do an inspection on it to make sure it didn't have any major issues. I did tell Angie that it was making a weird noise and that it should be checked out. 164.00 later the Jeep only needed a hose tightened and they couldn't recreate the noise... go figure??? How can you miss a weird grinding bubbling bird chirping noise? Well folks- these people can....People, this noise is hard to miss, how can you NOT hear it? Anyways the diagnosis maybe it's low on freeon? Haha is this a joke? The Jeep also has no heat which wasn't addressed at all given that they supposedly did a full on inspection- wouldn't you think a full inspection would find that out? Paperwork was half filled out, miles in and out are the same so it's beyond me how they even pull your car in to get it serviced if the miles in and out are the same, I say this sarcastically because obviously they cannot take the time to DOCUMENT anything. Unless maybe they push it in there? I took my car to White Bear Lake Ford and right away they found the issue, they listened to me and took it in and found a bad transmission selonoid and that it needed a coolant flush. I sent an email to complain only because I couldn't reach them by phone because for some odd reason their number doesn't work.... I don't blame them, I wouldn't answer my phone either with all the negative reviews... anyways a lovely fellow named Bill Love replied mind you NOT by phone, but by email and then send a lovely text stating he sent an email...In what world do you not want to fully understand why a customer is unhappy with the service you provided over the phone??? His email stated he sent an email basically saying that his inspection was more then checking fluids and checking tire pressure- mind you not explaining what it a used car inspection actually included. I then offered to come in and show him the paper I received from them and why I felt cheated. Bill Love declined to hear what I had to say, and although I told him I would not let them service another vehicle of mine, basically told me I could go elsewhere to get my car serviced. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Even though I am not going to service my car through you, don't you think you would want to hear what I have to say face to face, instead of in an email or over a text? Good Morning, I wanted to give some feedback on my experience buying a Car at Barnett Kia in White Bear Lake last night. It was the worst car buying experience I have ever had and I would have a hard time as of now recommending your dealership to anyone who asked. It started off ok but it did not end well. We met with one employee who was nice and informative but when we were passed on to the next employee, it quickly went down hill. He stated that he was going to need around 20 minutes to get things started, we sat on in the floor room for close to an hour while not one person checked in on us. And to be honest, there is not enough space for us to be there and for other customers to look at the cars. There was no where close to a 6 feet, in fact a couple of the other customers rubbed against me while we were waiting. Once we got in I asked why it took so long. I was told that it didnt take a long and that I was not being truthful. I was very taken back by that, I was insulted. Not only did I not get an apology, I was was told I was a liar. It kept going down hill from there. He told my wife and I he was surprised we had good credit. I am not sure what that is suppose to mean but I was once again insulted. At one point I had to get up and walk out of the room I was so offended. There were a few other points of contention but I will not list them all here. I am not sure if this was all due to my wife not being white, or if he just didnt like us but either way it seemed completely unacceptable. You would think making a $20,000 purchase would get you the same respect as other customers. It makes me sad that there are businesses in my home town operating like this. I sent this message to the folks at Barnett and asked for a call back. They never did call back but sent me this e-mail...........the lack of concern is unbelievable. I would like to thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience purchasing a vehicle. Although we try to provide every customer the best experience possible, sometimes we may fall short of that goal, and apparently we did in this case. I would like to take some time to address your concerns, starting with the time it took to prepare the paperwork. The paperwork process does take some additional time than most customers anticipate since Minnesota's new DVS system requires us to manually enter all information pertaining to the purchase with the state so we can accurately title the vehicle in your name as well as completing the financing process as well. The information needs to be complete and accurate to avoid any future delays. In addressing your other concerns, after talking to the employee in question, he stated that he said that you guys have great credit and that he was not in any ways hinting at anything other than that. His statement did not have anything to do with race, nor was it meant to insinuate anything else. We are a family owned business that has served the White Bear Lake area for almost 70 years, assisting customers from all backgrounds and all economic situations. I have found our employees to be without a doubt some of the most professional and down to earth people I have ever worked with. I truly believe the business manager's statement was misunderstood, as tension was high already at that point. Finally, in addressing your concern that you felt other customers were too close to you on the showfloor, we do our best to promote social distancing. While we cannot police every customer, our showfloor is quite large, and we try to space it out so people can walk around without running into each other. We require masks at all times from everyone inside our stores and have the dividers on every desk as well. We try to limit interaction as well in smaller spaces like offices and try to do our best making sure our customers and employees are safe while they are in our stores. Once again, I thank you for your purchase and for taking the time to tell us about your experience. Your concerns are important to us. While it is difficult to hear that things did not go well, your feedback allows us to improve our processes and address deficiencies. I bought a used vehicle this past summer. The same day I drove it off the lot it started making a clunking noise so I called right away and asked if they'd take a look since I literally just bought it. The used car manager was pretty abrasive and told me I might not be able to get it in and might not be paid for by them....even though I literally just bought it. Luckily they were able to get it in and they told me it was the sway links. Well they "fixed" those free of charge but when I left it was still making the same noise. I took in in somewhere else and the ball joints and control arms had to be repaired.....2.5k later now I'm good to go. Just frustrating that they didn't address the problem or fix what was actually wrong with it and seemed like they were trying to not be responsible for the problem when clearly it was broken when I purchased the vehicle. What I will say is the salesman I worked with initially was fantastic and very nice. Just a bummer to have all this happen and not have the manager take any initiative to make it right, or even be polite really. Wouldn't buy from them again. read more

I was interested in their offers, especially the Kia Sportage which looks awesome, however the letter I received mentioned I supposedly own a vehicle I don't. So I called to first clarify that but unfortunately the sales person at Barnett Kia cut me off mid sentence to explain why I received the letter and got very defensive, assuming that I was just calling to complain. Furthermore, he hung up on me before we formally said goodbye on the call. It really turned me off about getting a Kia, so now I will consider another make.
