A pending snowstorm, like everyone else I depend on my car too much! Unfortunately, it's towards the end of the work day and it's an issue I can't avoid. We all have certain family and friends that you have on "speed dial". This is the sentiment I hold for Jamie Nussbaum and his wonderful staff at East Hill Subaru in Roslyn, New York. I made the call and Lisette answered. She immediately understood my issue and responded, " You know there is a snow storm coming. You need to bring your car here and we'll take care of it". Lisette is another example of a true professional that takes great pride in her position. I arrived and was greeted by Service Advisor Justin Peralta. He did the intake and assured me the car would be thoroughly checked out and I would be updated throughout the process. In a short period of time, Lorrie Santiago came to inform me that my car was ready. Lorrie Santiago is always congenial, professional and laser focused on the task at hand. Lorrie's area is highly efficient, the paperwork and fob were all ready to go. Lorrie informed me of what was completed, asked if I had any questions and personally thanked me for bringing my car to East Hills Subaru. Lorrie is very proud of this organization and it shows every time! Integrity begins at the top! Jamie Nussbaum is an extremely professional individual.His affect is always pensive yet gregarious in nature. Jamie's attention to detail is reflected in every aspect of his Service Department. The amount of pressure with work orders, pending projects, emergency customer drop-ins could make this Service Department of "FRENETIC HOT ZONE". However, to the contrary, Jamie's strong but calming presence guides his ship through another day of success for his entire team. Philip Saccio and Justin Peralta are top Service Advisors. I've been most impressed by both of these professionals. These men take their positions most seriously. The initial intakes are thorough, the process is clearly layed out with potential cost and a clear timeline is presented. Philip Saccio and Justin Peralta assure me they are dedicated to success. The man behind the curtain where all the magic happens is Sandro! I call him the "Economist-Master Technician. Sandro always has a smile along with being extremely gifted. His videos that he takes of the work he performs are extremely informative. Sandro will always give suggestions to keep my vehicle at its peak performance. Sandro's economic background is always integrated into his technical practice. It appears Sandro's daily mission is to be the best "Economist-Master Technician" every day. Mission Accomplished Sandro! Finally, I have to acknowledge Jamie Nussbaum again. He always takes a compliment and deflects to include his team. His conversations with me always demonstrates a pride he has of everyone on his team. I understand his pride in working with these great professionals. My wife Diane and I are most grateful for all you've done for our family. Diane and I wish you all the best NEW YEAR 2026 and may God continue to bless each and every one of you! Thank you! P.S. The rest of the staff were extremely rude. If you walk in and smile and say hello they look at you and say you need to wait. The very last straw for me was when we were getting our car serviced and our loaner car malfunctioned and shut down a mile away from rallye. The dealership was unfortunately about to close but I called to se if they wouldn't mind waiting and the woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude and unhelpful. She told me that it was my problem. Luckily when we hung up we called back and spoke to someone else who had some courtesy. When it was time to look for another lease, I had enough. Why spend all that money to be treated like trash from half the dealership? We're in an Audi now. Audi Queens.. service was impeccable.

I had the worst experience of my life at at East Hills Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Dealership in Roslyn NY...literally the worst. I'm used to being treated with respect, courtesy, and dignity when I go to my Lexus dealership in Glen Cove. This place is exactly the opposite. My husband was looking at a used car there and had been made multiple promises about what they would provide. He brought me back the next day to have a look for myself. All of a sudden, everything that have been promised went up in smoke. My husband had been told the day before that they would put 4 new tires on the car. When we returned for the 2nd look the Used Car Manager said he would only provide 2 and that the gentleman who had promised the 4 wasn't there and he was overriding the original decision because 2 of the tires seemed fine. They were not fine, they were used. He and the manager went back-and-forth for quite a while, but he was adamant and refused to keep the commitment the dealership originally made. After listening to this for almost 30 minutes I quietly gave my opinion and told him that when a company promises something they need to stick by their word. He was rude, disrespectful and inconsiderate to me. He spoke back to me in a stern, forceful, dismissive manner even though l had spoken to him with total respect. In addition, when our salesman, a young man, (l'll be kind and only refer to him as R) took us for a test ride, he was clearly out of sorts and inept. He had told us it actually wasn't his workday and he had just come from the gym. He acted like he knew nothing about selling a car. We asked him questions as we were driving and all he did was grunt or mumble. There was one pivotal question re: a purge valve issue we asked him about that we had seen on Carfax and he said he had no clue what we were talking about. He didn't know what a purge valve was. We happen to ask that same question to the Used Car Manager and he said that he didn't know either, that he wasn't in the service dept. so we shouldn't expect an answer from him. He said we should ask the people at our Lexus dealership. Seriously??? Please note that as we later researched, the purge valve is a key component of the car's EVAP (Evaporative Emission Control) system. This is a really important fact and if it's on a Carfax review, the sales people should have known exactly what it means. And to add insult to injury, the General Manager was in his office listening to all of this going on and just sat quietly at his desk, did not intervene, did not walk out to address the problem... nothing, not a word. This is what this East Hills dealership calls management ? Not even close. Even if my husband had wanted that car more than anything in the world, he would never consider going back into that place. He wouldn't give them a penny after the way they treated me and reneged on their word. Awful awful awful dealership - stay away!

    Businesses live and die by their reviews, so I understand how a negative review can affect them…read more Bad reviews often are not deserved, or small issues are blown out of proportion, so I normally leave either a positive or no review. I settled on 3 stars because I am satisfied with the car I ultimately purchased. I have purchased more than 50 vehicles over the years. I've also sold multiple cars on consignment that were ultimately sold over the Internet, so I know the process. I had never purchased a car over the Internet and, after this experience, I will never do so again. I erroneously assumed that a luxury car dealer with over 15 years in business would have in place a rigorous, detailed, well-documented inspection process before offering a car for sale. Their website boasts "We offer a level of customer service that is unparalleled in the industry". This review can't accurately convey the frustration and follow-up required to get to the finish line on this car. No individual issue taken on its own was important. But cumulatively they added up to a nebulous, tiresome, and frustrating process. I emailed the owner Lance, and sales manager Stu multiple times. The outcome might have been different if either of them replied. So, if you are willing to go through the process, you will probably, like I did, get a decent car at the end of the day, but the process is exhausting.
