I called to place a sub order to go and was on the phone for 10 minutes repeating my order over and over again. The person on the other end of the phone sounded no older than 16 years old and assured me they had 8 inch sub rolls. So I order two and get told 35 minutes for pick up. Go to pick up my order and there is only one sub ready. I wait another 15 minutes for the other and finally left. I open my sub container and the sub is no more than 4 inches big. Now I have hungry people that we're promised a piece of sub!!!!!!! Get it together in there it looked everyone in there was being forced to work and wanted no part of it anyway. read more

Large bagels, freshly baked. I'm pretty sure they slap on about 5lbs of cream cheese on each bagel, so if your stomach can handle it, eat up. Speaking of, they have got some amazing flavored cream cheeses, also made fresh. My favorite is the veggie cream cheese. It's chock full of large diced chunks of carrots and red and green bell peppers. My only complaint is they don't make mini bagels or bagel bites. Oh, and bring cash. The food was delicious and filling. I got a pork roll bagel and they did not disappoint. There was at least 7 layers of pork roll on my bagel! the staff is incredibly rude. I got a plain bagel with butter and they gave me all tops with cream cheese. so someone got all bottoms. they also don't take cards so for someone who never has cash on them, this is not where to go. 3 dollars for a bagel, go down the road to bagel exchange for 2 dollars, better service and better bagels. big mistake, never going here again. there is also no where to sit, it's take out only. not worth the time or money. read more

This is my favorite bagel store in the area. I typically go once a week for a breakfast sandwich or bagel with butter. They do you somewhat overdo it with the amount of butter/cream cheese/breakfast meat. I would rather pay a little less and get less but it's not really a deterrent for me to wipe off the excess. The staff is friendly especially the guy working the register. I do suggest calling ahead if it's a Saturday or Sunday morning. read more

It pains me to have to write this review because I have been in the Food & Bev. industry for over 16 years, however this is now the 4th time I have received such terrible service. When you work the front of house, no matter how terrible your day is or how badly you would rather be anywhere but work, you ought to greet people with a smile and some pleasantries. Sadly, this is quite the task for the staff. On this visit, my boyfriend and I walked in to order some breakfast. The woman at the counter had an attitude from the start! Rude is an understatement!! Barely gave us a "hello" let alone the time of day, but we proceeded to order...he put his in first while I was looking at the drinks. I made my selection and began to order. I guess I wasn't ordering fast enough to her liking as she was tapping her pen in frustration. I asked what was in the western omelet, she informed me coldly. I said I wanted that on a wrap. She sternly said, "What kind?!" I was taken aback and asked what they had...by the end of this transaction my boyfriend was so livid by our treatment he told me to put my drink back and we left (I would never walk out on an order, but I refuse to give another dime to them). I am so sorry for being such a bother! Now don't get me wrong when you look past the attitude, and the occasional wrong orders the food is amazing! But at this point, great food does not trump poor service. I'd rather take the drive to Terragani's Bagels which is equally as amazing with a welcoming and wonderful staff. I went based on feedback I saw under another local bagel shop. We just got bagels, no other food. They were very tasty. They are enormous, you can make two meals out of 1. Really good mix of flavored cream cheeses and bagels. My only negative is that they only take cash. They have an ATM onsite, but I'm not willing to pay the fees. As someone who rarely carries cash this will keep me from going there frequently. Also, note that it is take out only, there is no seating. read more

I went on a Saturday morning during the summer and there was just one other customer in the store, which was surprising because I read it was always crowded! I ordered a dozen bagels and a pint of chive cream cheese and their homemade iced coffee, which they keep the straws for behind the counter. It's cash only, but there is an ATM in the store. I had the whole wheat everything bagel, and it was large, with a perfect amount of topping, and not too many poppy seeds, with the chive cream cheese. The bagels are soft and chewy on the inside and nice and crisp and fresh on the outside. The chive cream cheese has the perfect amount of chives and is almost whipped, which is my favorite. There was a large selection of bagels, from standard to adventurous. I will go back when I'm in town! read more

In the past, this was a fine establishment. After gaining a larger customer base, their customer service and attention to detail has severely diminished. After returning home and realizing my order was incorrect, I drove 15 minutes back to the store to have it corrected. I politely informed the cashier of the problem, and rather than help, she told me I was wrong, that it was impossible they made a mistake. Customer service? Nonexistent. Wow what and amazing breakfast sandwich. I have been in a search trying all of Jerseys best pork roll egg and cheese spots. I have been to all the top spots like slaters and this place beats them hands down. They provide plenty of Pork roll and it was cooked perfect. Although I prefer seeded kaisers the rolls they have are very good and perfect for the sandwich. The price is a bit higher then most places but you get what you pay for.
