Next, as you walk further into the studio (if you can get passed the super cute boutique), you will find the most supportive instructors! Every single teacher is the epitome of professional. They go out of their way to learn your name, understand your limitations and help you push beyond them. It is a challenging work out and you will leave sore but you will also leave with a feeling of accomplishment and self love. The PBMK community makes sure of that! I've taken more than my fair share of yoga classes with a variety of teaches, many of whom are stellar - however, Jen is by far the best. She starts off the class with just the perfect thing to say to you midweek - something inspiring yet relatable in her cool soothing voice. Every class I've taken with her is different and every class is great. She mixes it up enough to keep you on your toes but as a regular one can pick up on her style, whatever that is. Her music choice also flows with her class and you can honestly tell she really cares and is having fun while teaching. I can't ask for a better yoga class.

The instructors are so friendly and welcoming of all abilities. The front desk people are just as kind and attentive too. They have a small curated selection of fitness clothing, bottled drinks, and other wellness products for browsing before or after a class. I've taken an array of classes and love Raquel, Pillin, and Susanna. Classes are challenging, and go through a pretty standard barre format - warm up, with and without weights, thigh, seat work and core work. Some exercises require the ball, others don't. The classes do vary, so it's not the same each time even though the focus is on the same target areas. Individual attention is always paid for corrections! It is definitely a good workout. The other constructive feedback I have is, if they had showers I would be able to come in before my commute to NYC for work! Also, more early morning classes in that regard would help (6am/630).
