We've also ordered their chicken wings before and loved those too, but I think the price has gone up too much for us to continue ordering the wings. This new "joint" could be very cool But they need to get a new staff. The only thing holding this place together is Dan the GM. He's a great guy who takes time to get to know the customers and keep this place interesting. The other staff is VERY bad. No personality, no interest in talking to anyone but themselves and someone who I think is the owner. You can see the fear in there eyes when he's around. They also have a great tap beer lineup... But one problem.. The taps are not turned on????? Keep hearing about then not having a beer cooler yet. Get it together guys., you need to get your taps flowing!!!! And the tables are made from giant whisky barrels but you can fit you legs underneath them... Kinda weird. Lastly it's a very hard place to find due to the fact there's no sign at all. Sweet spot to watch the Bears, Northwestern, and pretty much whatever you want. Call in some Saturday or Sunday food and get your football lean on! Cold beer and good Hard Stuff with Hockey and Roundball just around the corner. I will take my annual trip this year in January. Seattle to Chicago for a live Hockey, alot of Sat- Sunday football and Hopefully a Monday night game. Who knows maybe even watch a DePaul game live or at The Barrelman. Hey Wildcat fans: go watch NU play at Barrelman's! Blake & staff were outstanding! They had T-shirts and hats for us, plus good TV's, and extensive drink selection. Blake traveled to County Cork, Ireland to tour the home of Jameson's last year. Ask him about "Caskmates"!
