I love this place. The energy is good. The outdoor seating area is large and you get to soak in the Andersonville vibe. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. I could. It finish my chicken and waffles with eggs. Service was friendly and fun. I can't wait to go back with my wife. I'll need to find a quieter spot so I can hear her better. Bottom line is, check out Replay on your next visit to Andersonville.

I had just finished having dinner and decided I wanted to have a drink. My friend and I went down to replay for a nightcap. We decided to sit at the bar. It was nice and clean and service was pretty good. My bartender was very attentive making sure my drink never went dry. They played really good music throughout the night so I was able to vibe out. I did not have anything to eat, but looking around people were ordering food and it looked pretty good. There are old school games that you can play, games from the 90s, which is great. However, I did not get a chance to play any. Next time I go back, I plan to do so.

Replay in Andersonville has become a staple spot for my friends and me. When you walk in, you're greeted with good, friendly service. One of the things I love most about Replay is the retro games. Whether you're waiting for your food or just feel like splurging on some nostalgic fun, the games add a great vibe to the place. The menu is always evolving, which keeps things fresh. Some of my favorite dishes have to be the Cubano sandwich, which is a different style since it's not pressed but super tasty with its smoky pulled pork. The nachos are a delight too - I usually get the salsa on the side to keep them from getting soggy. And let's not forget the wings! I love getting them naked so I can dip and try all of their tasty sauces. To top it all off, I usually wash everything down with a refreshing Aperol Spritz. It's to aid the digestion :) Will I be back? Absolutely - I've been coming since they opened! Welp! Into the next!

Really enjoyed this chill bar and grill with 26 draft beers. Whether your preference is local or further away, there's something on the draft list to appeal to any beer lover. The special - a bowl of tomato bisque with a half grilled cheese sandwich - tasted delicious and was reasonably priced. Cheese curds were as light and airy as cheese curds can be, but were still satisfying. Friendly and efficient service.

I came up to Andersonville for the first time for the craft fair and the day was so lovely that it was only right to find a patio and an Aperol spritz nearby - Replay was the perfect setting! The patio was casual with plenty of tables and a good amount of shade. I was really impressed by the food too! For a pretty well rounded American menu, the food was delicious. I got a chicken Caesar wrap and it was HUGE, perfectly seasoned and the right amount of dressing. The tater tots were also perfect. I kept looking at all the food that was brought out to different tables and it all looked amazing. It was easy to just pop in on a whim for dinner on Saturday which was great compared to other restaurants nearby that had long wait times. I really enjoyed the food and the setting for a casual dinner!

Upon arrival we had to wait three minutes to be seated even though there was someone at the bar (who didn't acknowledge me) so that kinda got the night off to a bad start. Three minutes doesn't seem long but time it, it's a while. Anyway, things got better from there. The person who seated us let us pick whatever we wanted outside since there weren't really that many folks there at the time (we were there around 4:30 sine I had my two month old with me). We started with the fried pickles which were yummy as usual, though next time I'd grab the salt to season a bit. I ordered the jalapeño bacon burger and my companion got the curry wurst (September is Oktoberfest--servus!). Both were really good. I had never had currwurst before (neither had he) but tried a bit and it was good. The burger was really tasty, although not as spicy as I thought it might be--it really wasn't spicy at all. But it was good, and perfectly cooked, which sometimes is hard to get because I order burgers well done only. I'm happy to report it was perfectly well done. To finish we ordered the skillet chocolate chip cookie. It was my birthday so we had to get dessert! It was delicious. It came out HOT (I uploaded a video--you can see the edges bubbling!) and diving in too quick resulted in too hot a bite so be patient. And also make sure you have a bit of ice cream in your bite to cool it down. The outside seating was great. It was very comfortable seating and most or all of the tables have umbrellas for when the sun's in the air. For all but the hottest of days, you may want to bring a jacket or something; a few days before fall it was pretty cool, but luckily not so cold that I couldn't enjoy myself, having forgotten to bring a cover-up (a couple degrees cooler and it may have been, though). The patio is dog friendly as well as kid friendly, and they have special "kid-friendly hours" as well. Parking is probably a pain most of the time, but we got lucky and there was a couple spots right across the street from the outdoor seating, on Balmoral. But there may be paid parking along Clark as well and the surrounding streets. It's taken me years to finally make a stop at Replay but hopefully it won't be another few years before we come back.

I was seated fast by the hostess. Outside on a beautiful evening. It took a while before the server showed up but he straight from the beginning said sorry for the wait. The menu is a modern American menu with dinner stable appetizers like wings and fried pickles they offer salads, wraps and burger. The burger can be substituted by an house made turkey patty or an impossible burger. So a lot of choices. I was craving a burger and when I read home made turkey that's so rare I'll had to go for it. Side salad some extra cheese and that's it. As starter I ordered the fried pickkes. The starter came after the mail lol. But that did not matter since they have been nothing special. Nothing to complain about either. But the burger. It felt like the size of three regular paddies. Wet delicious add one like the pickles pepper and crispy bacon. A very good burger! I will come back anytime.

Hanging out in Andersonville? Stop by Replay for food, drinks, games, and good vibes! A friend and I were meeting up for drinks with friends to celebrate a birthday, but we wanted to eat first. A quick walk down Clark had us stumble upon Replay. Free retro arcade games? Yes, please! Good bar food? Yummy! The fried pickles were thick and heavily battered (which I rather enjoyed). The buffalo chicken eggrolls were yummy, though the blue cheese dressing was a bit...sweet? Definitely a different taste to it, but still good. Our server was the perfect mix of great conversation, helpful recommendations, and friendly banter. And, what's even better? I had left my cell phone on the table and had to return to get it...which was safe behind the bar for me to retrieve it! Thank goodness!

A sunny afternoon in Andersonville calls for a late lunch and drinks on the patio. Apparently, I was so hungry I failed to get a photo of the nachos. It was the perfect snack to have before joining friends for dinner. The patio was great and servers were accommodating as we added some chairs to our table so friends could join us for drinks. Great patio, great service and a wonderful spot on a sunny afternoon!

If you are like me, trying to make that light, you will never see this place, but it is there and it is super cute. There is a lot of dark wood that just gives the space a cozy feel. There are also two garage doors that I assume can be opened when the weather is good. For you folks with dogs, beer drinkers who drink beyond the basic beers, bubble drinkers (like me) and those that want to bring in their own food...this is your place. We went there to meet some friends and to watch some football. For such a small place, they do have plenty of TVs with multiple games going. It was great to be able to have pizza delivered, with the bartender providing paper plates, and napkins for us to use. The bartender was also very cool about bringing our drinks over or picking up empties as we were sitting a a table away from the bar. I didn't get his name, but he was cool. There is street parking but not on Peterson itself. I would say, depending on the day, it might be hard to find a spot as you have to park on Ridge or some of the side streets. There is a new Metra station down the street that is about 2 blocks from the bar. Not sure if there is public parking available, but worth checking out. I could see myself coming here just because I can bring my own food and still get bubbles. While they do not carry bubbles by the bottle, the stuff they had in the can was good. I would love to go there when the weather is nicer and they have the garage doors open. And it is a happy compromise to hanging out with friends who have dogs that they just can't live without who also like to drink. This is a place we can definitely hang out with them and have a good time.

There is outdoor seating under a pergola lined with semi-private planters, while the inside features a bar, high tops, low tops, and large booths. The music was upbeat, giving the space an elevated lounge vibe that pairs really well with the upholstered booths and vintage industrial design. I ordered the Wolf Burger, which is a whopping three-patty burger. That first bite was juicy and pure bliss--a total explosion of great flavors. It was a little messy (like all burgers with an egg), but the extra liquid was perfect for balancing the density of such a meaty burger. The soft bun soaked in a lot of those juices with each bite, intensifying the flavor as I ate more. The fries were thin and on the greasier side--not my personal favorite, but they worked alright as a vehicle for the sauce. Speaking of which, the chili aioli served with the fries was fantastic. We also got the mac and cheese, which hit a great balance between rich and creamy without feeling excessively wet. The boat it came in was a bit small, making it a little messy to scoop out with the serving spoon, but it was soooo good. Overall, it is absolutely a fantastic neighborhood place for comfort food and drinks with friends in a great space!
