Came into town from Florida for a conference. Our group was searching for a place to unwind after a long day of workshops. What a nice surprise to find this karaoke bar. So nice to see Pete again. He's been tending bar in that same spot for 20+ years. He always has been popular with the ladies and Saturday night was no exception. Tending bar with hands full of gold rings and bracelets, the gals were hanging around waiting for his flirting and teasing. He knows I'm a vet, and he has always made positive and caring remarks. But nobody, including me, gets away without some good natured teasing. (It's just Petes old school way) The band starts at 8:30! The drinks were cold and the place while worn, was clean and well kept. It's become a old school, cool vibe joint in the middle of the Cuyahoga Falls remake. Much success to Pete. If you like karaoke and little dive bars, this is the place for you! They have karaoke four nights a week and the bar is huge but doesn't have a ton of people usually on their karaoke line up. We especially like DJ Steve on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. The drinks are expensive for what you get. And the last time we were there, they charged us for every soft drink - no free refills, which they had given to us in the past. We didn't know this and ended up spending $21 on soda for two people! I wish they had snacks or some kind of food to eat while we wait, but other than that, it's a nice place with nice people. read more

Best bar in Cuyahoga Falls, Mario is the man, knows everybody who walks through the door and will accommodate your every need. A very "cheers" type bar, everybody knows your name. Tuesdays is ladies night, Wednesday and Fridays are karaoke, Saturdays are live bands. If you want a good conversation, great drinks, and an awesome atmosphere, head here. I will admit, at first we were a little timid walking down the stairs to Mario's. But once we sat down at the bar and had a chance to talk to some fellow patrons, we had a very enjoyable night! They are still in the middle of some renovations, but once they're done this will be a huge bar! We live pretty close to Mario's, so we'll for sure be back to drink and shoot some pool. read more

My husband and I stopped in on a Wednesday for happy hour. This location was previously a "gentlemen's club", so we were happy to see it change to a regular bar. We were greeted by the most ebullient Italian gentleman you'll ever meet. The owner, Mario, was warm, friendly and very entertaining. He's reason enough to stop in! They don't have any food yet, but are planning on adding some soon. Spacious place, bands playing on the weekend, primary obstacle is getting the word out that's it's changed "genres"! Fun place to stop in on Front Street, I'm sure Mario's business will grow once the weather warms up and there is more foot traffic on Front. read more
