A specific worker with an accent and dark hair and skinny build tried telling me we can't have a light bake on our cheesy garlic bread. Secondly when we came in to pick up our order I asked her very kind coworker in the front who handled our transaction if i can use the restroom she said yes. i went back and the same worker proceeded to give me an attitude with the answer "get out now" her attitude on two different times this night was a significant disturbance in our usual dinner routine. Shame on management for allowing this and not following health dept regulations. Prepared food is to be kept under warmers. Last week the husband and I ordered and my sandwich was the wrong one. They sent two Italian one and one had odd things on it. I ordered a turkey sandwich not Italian like my husband. I called the store the manager said I would get a refund for the cost of my sandwich. Ok that's fine however we decided to order again tonight and after waiting over an hour I get a call that they are out of white bread so unless I accept wheat bread I'm again not getting my turkey sandwich. Really? Two damn weeks in a row? What's going on with this location? They have awesome pizza but that's not what we ordered. I was again told I'll have a refund in a week for this sandwich too. How hard is it to get a sandwich the way you want it? I've become super disappointed with this location. Tonight I will sit as my husband enjoys his meal and I'll skip dinner because there was no questions on if I'd like to order something else. The girl on the phone tried to get a manager but he wouldn't even get on the phone. This will be the last time we eat at this Barro's Pizza location. Wow! I've been here in the past and I was quite disappointed, but on my most recent order this place redeemed itself. I made the mistake last time of ordering original crust pepperoni. This time tried the mega meat thin crust. It was on point. The original crust had too much breading. The thin crust made it more about the high quality toppings. Couldn't get enough of the cheese to topping ratio. I ate half in the first 30 minutes. I know some may not like this, but I want to see grease on the bottom of the box. This one did not disappoint. Last time we ordered at this location the meat was bleeding over to the other half of the pizza so I specifically asked for meat on ONLY half, given this prior experience. The young man I was placing my order with said it would only come on half but refused to leave a note for the kitchen with my request. Fast forward to picking up the pizza: The order is incorrect and instead of pineapple there's ham on the entire pizza. The counter staff handled it so unprofessionally. LILIANA was SO rude. She didn't believe that the order was incorrect and never apologized. She stared at the order for 2 minutes without doing anything and then she got the manager who stood staring at the incorrect order as well. I had to explain 3 times what was wrong with it......there shouldn't be ham and there should be pineapple instead!! Not that hard! The staff (including the manager) never apologized or offered any compensation--no drink while we waited for the correct order, nothing. We were promised our correct pizza in 10-11 minutes. After at least 15 minutes we actually had the pizza. Then, at the end, they didn't even show the pizza to us to make sure the order was actually correct. I had to ask them to show us to make sure. I've worked in food service for 7 years. I know this isn't how you handle incorrect orders or customer service. It's disappointing the manager wasn't concerned with his employees' behavior, too. read more

I am beginning to think things are being done on purpose now... I have been coming to this location for about 2 years now and just a few months ago the customer service has gone downhill. I place orders for delivery just to have to drive to the restaurant due to errors with my order. At the time I was expecting and it was such an inconvenience to have to drive there, yes I could have called but that wouldn't have made a difference to me. When I arrived with my concern they offered to remake the pizza after I explained I did not want to wait to just refund the difference. Manager insisted so I obliged. He came out 20 mins later and again the pizza was made wrong with an extra ingredient I did not ask for nor could I eat because I was pregnant watching the certain foods to stay away from. The manager said to just try it and I politely declined stating I have to stay away from certain cheeses. He then goes on asking if this is my first baby, that is not his concern right, I just wanted my food made how I ordered it. I am annoyed at this point. He then offered a full refund plus the pizza. I tried them again a few weeks later. I'm 9 months due any day, not only was the pizza made incorrectly again but, after offering from a different manager for the pizza to be made it again, there was a strand of hair found after biting into it having to pull the hair out of my mouth!! I am completely done .... So I thought!!! 2 days ago I try one more time changing up my order, just a plain cheese pizza and a spinach salad. I just ate the salad today and what do you know, I am pulling another strand of hair out of my mouth. Baby is here and I just cannot head to the restaurant and calling them I just do not have see what is really going to happen. An apology with offering a refund... all of that is besides the point. What is going on here with the reinforcement, are there new employees since 2020? I know my patronage is not going to matter much but, I definitely feel I am done with this location. Usually good food and have been a customer for a long time, but last take out for wings and pizza was disappointing. Ordered the honey hot wings and I'm not sure if the chicken was spoiled or the sauce recipe was changed, leaning towards the first but not good. I tried to bake them longer in the oven but it didn't help. I don't like to leave flat negative reviews but I'll be hesitant to order from them again. Ordered two pizzas online for carryout since this was one of the closest pizza spots nearby. I was surprised at how long the line was to order but I did come around noon which is a busy lunch time. I was able to go right to the cashier to pick up my order since I had already paid online. Loved how quick and easy it was and the pizzas were tasty. First time ordering from Barro's. We ordered online and had it delivered. Order was on time and everything was correct. I appreciate the variety in their menu but the food was just ok. We ordered thin and regular crust pizza. I didn't feel the thin was much different from the regular crust.The pizza was just too greasy for me. We ordered an Italian sandwich that was dripping with dressing. Literally squeezed the sandwich and a puddle of dressing ended up on my plate. Whenever I'm at my mom's house and we have the pizza craving then it's always Barro's. Well tonight was one of those cravings. I was pretty impressed when I walked in. I thought it looked really nice inside compared to other Barro's I've been too. Nice dark wood interior. Tile floors and lots of TV all around the dining area. No matter where you sit there's a TV to watch your favorite sport. When you walk in, you order your pizza and wings at the counter and you get a number for your table. They had plenty of people helping at the counter. Very friendly and helpful. We ordered a large pepperoni and sausage pizza with a medium order of wing with mild and another with BBQ. 24 wings in all. The pizza was really good. A little greasy at the bottom but we ate the whole thing. So no complaints there. The wings were really good too. The mild had a nice zing to them. Just right for my taste buds and my wife always likes the BBQ. Not spicy at all. The sauce wasn't overpowering. Just right. Overall we really liked the pizza and wings. Gobbled it all up. Decent pizza with speedy service. They pile a lot of toppings on your pie, and if you like a lot of crust, this is your place! The original crust itself is more on the doughy side and not super crispy. We had the special which was loaded with ham, pepperoni, onion, bell pepper, and mushroom. So, I just got the best pizza EVER from Barro! Nathan, the delivery guy, was lightening fast, brought everything I requested and more, and the pizza literally was just out of the oven! I'm going to request Nathan when I order from now on. Update 10/12/18 So, taking a break from Barro for awhile. The last few times, the pizzas have taken an hour to arrive and they haven't been hot. The one tonight was burnt as well. Management was very apologetic and courteous and voided the credit card transaction, so they made it right, but, there are just too many choices out there to be disappointed all the time. It's a shame because I really liked them when I first discovered them. Everything is subject to change and you're only as good as your weakest link. Update! We have been ordering on Saturday's around 11 am, the last two weeks and it's been amazing! Nathan is the greatest delivery driver ever! Pretty disappointing experience because we love Barros. First time ordering from this location. We ordered delivery. When our food arrived we opened the salad and it was rotten. Fresh lettuce mixed with wilted. So old the stems were clear and the leaves were translucent. How could someone serve that and not notice. We called and they refunded the salad. We should have waited to call till after we opened the pizza. Our pizza was not even fully cooked. Literally the dough was still wet. Couldn't even lift a slice out of the box. Been ordering over the phone at this location for a long time now, never had any issues. Order is ready when they say it would be and I come in to pay, never had problems. The new employee Nelly is incompetent and needs more training. I have been coming to this location for awhile now. I always order spaghetti with meatballs. For some reason they find it difficult to serve the meal hot!! I had complained in the past but it is consistently Luke warm. Meatballs are sometimes cold. I stopped coming here for several months . I tried it again on a different day and for a short time they served the meal hot, like it should be served. The last 3 times I have eaten here it was back to being luke warm again. Recently I ordered a Hawaiian pizza(don't remember name) but it had a light teriyaki sauce instead of pizza sauce and pineapple and teriyaki chicken on top. This was at a Maricopa Barros btw. The only pizza I have ever been grossed out by omg it tasted like they put waaaay too much teriyaki sauce on the bread, maybe on accident but it was so disgusting, the sauce was literally dripping off of the pizza everytime I picked it up. Let me start by saying I love the Barros franchise. This location was the Worst Barros I have ever ate at. First we were sitting in the corner booth when a roach approached the bench next to my daughter. I killed it and it was Gross but we moved to a different booth. Didn't even complain about it. We arrived at 7:20pm at the restaurant and seriously no other customers in the store and we waited almost 40 mins for our food. When we went to ask about it the food was sitting out and they told us they were busy no one to bring the food. I never heard them call out or anything. Normally they bring the food but again the restaurant only had one other person and I saw a bunch of employees at this location. So this explanation made no sense. They came out and brought the food finally and the food was only lukewarm. I ordered 24 wings and got nothing but drumsticks. I only eat the flats I was upset waiting so long for lukewarm food and shitty wings. No thank you will never be back here. read more
