I am beyond amazed at the positive experience I just had this morning. If you need a dental implant and are afraid of the process, a dental tooth extraction, don't be! I was until this morning. The novocaine injections painless at the skilled hands of Dr. Synder! The tooth extraction, in my case, was removed before I even knew it...within a minute or so, for me, this was nothing short of, MIRACULOUS! Forget the adage, 'no pain no gain'! At F.P.A. for me, it's been "NO PAIN, JUST GREAT PERIODONTAL GAIN!" Thank you so very much for the positive and blessed experience at your office Dr. Synder, assistant, and staff! I am still on my journey at F.P.A. however after today I have a deeper understanding from this mornings experience at how brilliantly skilled, and yet how compassionate and understanding Dr. Synder is. Thank you! There are not enough stars again to provide a proper rating with my experiences at F.P.A with Dr. Synder. Previously: At Frederick Periodontal Associates, I have had the BEST experienced ever for dental and periodontal consultation and care! The office staff is friendly, helpful and exceptionally competent and 'compassionate'! I was treated as if I was a member of thier family, or a close friend. I felt that I actually matter, and was not a number or a dollar sign! I called myself in as an emergency and though I had never been to this practice prior, the practice stayed open to make sure I was seen by the doctor. I also wasn't billed as an emergency patient, that is the definition in action of, The Good Samaritan! Dental, endodontic and periodontal procedures can be quite intimating and downright fearful for many people, myself being one of these people. Upon meeting Dr. Snyder I could feel myself start to relax, which I didn't think I could as I was told by a dentist that I had very real and serious concerns that involves, dental and endodontics. All the procedures I was told I needed performed, NOW, leaving me feeling overwhelmed, the shock hadn't even wore off yet. Having an abscess my check had swelled, I had had a low grade fever and had chills previously as a result of the infection and was concerned for my health. Upon meeting Dr. Snyder, his manner and approach had a positive effect melting away my fears, I was able to start relaxing and could breathe again and felt hopeful! I found out too that I did not need everything performed as I had been previously told I did, and there was NO pressure. Dr. Snyder wrote out a prescription for me too, to address the infection. I am now feeling like me again, healthy and not going to die of sepsis. Upon my next appointment, I had a Maintenance cleaning. The dental hygienist Star was kind, capable and reassuring to me regarding my fear of dental work. I also had the best dental cleaning at F.P.A. I was amazed at how beautiful my teeth looked and felt. This has been the first day that I can honestly say I feel no longer overwhelmed. There are not enough stars that honestly reflect the care they provide. Dr. Snyder, his wife Kathy (who is the practice manager and the brilliant designer of F.P.A's state of the arts practice,) and thier team are the most positive, caring, knowledgeable, kind and gentle health care providers I have ever encountered! PS For those who have experienced L-O-N-G wait time- none so far! Image that! I was referred to Dr. Snyder by my primary dentist for an extraction and an implant. Despite being very anxious Dr. Snyder and his team assured me the procedure would be done with great care. The end result was virtually no pain or discomfort after the procedure with Dr. Snyder following up that evening to assure that all was well. I can't recommend Dr. Snyder and his team highly enough!

No, they unilaterally cancelled it for their convenience. And we wonder why healthcare is so poor in this country when doctor's offices don't value the patrons or honor their commitments. As human beings, realize not everyone has the flexibility or bandwidth in their jobs to appease your reminders. The front desk was rude, unempathetic and made it clear that my time was expendable. The dentist and owner has always been nice to me so some stars but other staff leave something to be desired... especially the front desk. To the admin: you are interacting with people whom have responsibilities that you'll never know or understand so I'll tell you the advice I got when I was just 15 years old: treat everyone with respect.

This review is based on the initial response I received to a detailed inquiry I made to the office…read moreabout becoming a new patient (and not about any dental treatment, which I have never received). I feel that two stars is merited because Dr. LeMonnier's office at least did the bare minimum: contact me promptly via email. I was disappointed by the response I received to a message I sent to Dr. LeMonnier's office via his website for the following reasons: (1) Only one of the three questions/concerns I asked was addressed, and the response ONLY focused on the payment process since I was going to be out of network. However, being out of network is not that important to me: my last dentist was out of network but I choose her due to (a) a positive, helpful, and caring first response to my initial inquiry, and (b) the excellent dental services I received from her over the course of several years. (2) The response I received did not begin with "Thank you for contacting us..." or anything resembling basic professional courtesy. It just jumped into the fact that I would be out of network and therefore responsible for paying before I left each treatment. This displayed a basic lack of customer service and suggested to me that either (a) this office doesn't need new patients or (b) doesn't want to deal with patients who are out of network (but once again, paying my bills is not an issue--this could have been resolved by calling me.) (3) The message ended by asking if I still wanted to schedule an appointment, without bothering to address the other concerns I had. Either the person didn't read my message or didn't want to waste her time with me since I was out of network. (4) There was no follow up phone call, even though I gave my phone number. (Why have phone number as a required field in the Contact message form if you aren't going to use that number to call?) I was disappointed by this response because I had researched over 10 dentists in Frederick and had decided on Dr. LeMonnier due to his years of public service and volunteer work. The descriptions of the staff are also impressive, but I know wonder how accurate there are. As there are many other dentists in this area, I will continue my search.

They don't recommend unnecessary treatments, they are super friendly and professional. I haven't caught his name but the guy at the front desk deserves a lot of credit. He sets the tone when you arrive. Always positive and happy to see you. Hygenist Ashley, Dr Bowersox, and the Mrs Dr. Goyal are all super professional and really make you feel that you are in good hands. When you leave you work with the billing/scheduling lady and like everyone else here, she's awesome. I cannot think of one negative aspect of the three appointments I've had here so far.

I had too many photos taken of my teeth with the X-ray machine which started to concern me with the amount of radiation exposure I was getting. The girl who was taking the photos was having trouble, was on the slower side taking the photos, and looked confused trying to find someone to help after I told her the piece in my mouth was hurting me. She kept trying to re-adjust it but they had one size (most offices have different size parts for different size mouths) and it ended up tearing up the soft tissue under my tongue. Almost an hour into my appointment I asked how many more x-ray photos she needed to take and she said 6 bite wings and several more. At that point I threw in the towel. I just wanted to get my teeth cleaned...

I've been coming here since it was Frieder Dental and the transition since then has been seamless. There have been nice improvements to the waiting area and the office in general, too. For those who dont like TVs playing news in waiting areas, this place doesnt do that. I have a long history of dental care and I've spent many hours in a dentist chair since childhood, but I'm no longer apprehensive about coming for my visits since I've been coming here. I definitely recommend this practice if you are looking for a family run dentistry that knows what they're doing, and that cultivates a nice atmosphere.

Since that time, he's helped restore almost every tooth I have. With at least 1 crown and 2 root canals, plus a dozen or more fillings. His work has always been flawless - and entirely pain free! So good, in fact, that my entire family are patients here. About the only service he couldn't provide for us was surgical extraction of my daughter's wisdom teeth. Otherwise, we've always been happy to come here, and are always comfortable in the chair with him.
