When the battery light comes on, it means your vehicle is being powered by the battery only, instead of the alternator. Owner Tu told me to remove the negative battery cable while the car was running. The car died. Easy over the phone diagnosis. I swapped out for a new battery and drove over. Tu got a new alternator delivered and installed the next day. The price was far below my other estimates. I immediately asked him to do rear shocks also, to throw him some extra business. Parts delivered and installed same day. He made this entire process happen in days before thanksgiving. Other shops couldn't see me until December. I've already spoken to Tu about some other minor work I would like to have done. Once again he removes the steering wheel to make a quick diagnosis on the cruise control. I plan to get more done after the holidays. I highly recommend this mechanic for his service, professionalism, and overall great personality.

When you go here, ask specifically for TYSON MURTA! I have purchased several vehicles and RV's over the years from many dealers and he is one of the finest auto sales people I've ever worked with. Every car salesperson has the unfortunate struggle of not only having to rightfully look out for his family and his employer, but also to make sure that the customer he/she is serving isn't taken advantage of. Tyson is a guy who clearly still has his character and integrity well intact. This translates to a person who can do his job well while still trying to do the best he can for his customer. During the process of finding our vehicle and determining the costs associated with such a purchase, I never felt manipulated or lied to by Tyson in any way. I imagine this may also have to do somewhat with the management, by extension, but I can only speak to my experience with Tyson. The finance manager who dealt with us at the close of the sale was direct and reasonable as well, but my experience with him was limited. We now have a vehicle which we really feel suits our family's needs. The price was extremely fair and the quality of the vehicle was excellent (we purchased a new/used). Tyson even took care of us AFTER the sale, making sure all of our needs were met even after the close. We are grateful to him and to Lash Chevrolet for an all around excellent experience!

It was mislabeled as an EXL but owning a FIT myself, I could see it was an EX. But the price was right. We were not anticipating any problems. . We took it on an extended test drive and something was off with the electronic display. Among other things, you couldnt see the gas gauge. Restarting the car did not reset anything. We were assured that it would be fixed either by the Lash service department or taken to a Honda dealership. That was written in the contract as an exception to an "as is" purchase. But Honda makes very reliable cars so we were okay with "as is" provided the electronic display got fixed. And it did...for about 3 days in mostly undriveable weather. Then the problem reappeared. I urged my son to immediately contact our salesperson and the dealership. And he did many times, by phone, text and email. Crickets. Everyone was always "off"or away. After all, it was in the written contract that THIS problem would be fixed. But they had his money. Now me, I would have driven the car to the dealership and camped out with Lash's unresponsiveness. But my son is an adult who prefers to avoid confrontations. Long and the short is my very positive initial experience with Lash has changed to a very negative experience. They should have fixed what they said they would when the problem almost immediately returned.

Got a clean bill of health, no additional charges...what was quoted was the final price...no upcharges or rag fees or oil recycling fees or you need a new air filter. How refreshing! Very knowledgeable mechanics and very nice to employers in general, but very expensive place for…read morerepairs. I usually take my car in for oil, filter and tire rotation, $45 or so, not bad. However, any mechanical repair is extremely expensive. I received an estimate to change the sway away bars, rear suspension/rear shock absorbers and change the tripods for close to $1,500. I found a local small shop mechanic that did it for less than $700. Also, on another vehicle, the horn wasn't working, so Oxford gave me an estimate to fix it for $450. I reviewed YouTube videos and was able to fix it myself, since the problem was simply that the ground cable was not making contact. Bought a 2' copper cable, changed the horn and changed the plug, all for less than $60. Yes, $450 vs $60. Again, I don't think they are bad mechanics, but way too pricey. Won't go back.
