I was with a group of 6. We made a reservation here via Open Table, with a credit card to hold a table, one week in advance, because it's a ski town and things book up. Come reservation time, we arrived at 5:35 for a 5:30pm reservation, only to find out the manager canceled our reservation because we didn't pick up her confirmation call. This is NOT how reservation works and if you want to act like a fancy restaurant that calls in advance, then try multiple days before hand, vs calling guests during ski hours on the same day and expect them to return your call. Also, this restaurant did not indicate in its open table reservation policy that confirmation on the same day is required to actually keep your reservation. I cant believe I even have to argue this with the manager. So much for being honorable patrons that actually showed up to the restaurant. Lastly, the manager was incredibly unhelpful. Unfortunate things happen. But she was unapologetic and offered 0 help to us and frankly didn't give a crap about the fact that she gave away our table only 5 mins before our reservation time. Very shady. Probably gave it to her friends. More than happy to take our money elsewhere. This is NOT how you run a business. read more

However, we are thankful the other restaurant we went to was closed! 10/10 for the service. 10/10 for the atmosphere. 10/10 for the food. 10/10 for the price. Due to COVID they clearly had to make adjustments, but they didn't lower their standards. Despite the adjustments they made, the restaurant has a modern vibe and crisp feel. It was extremely comfortable while still allowing the appropriate distancing. Now - the best part! The food was absolutely amazing! My husband got the Spinach Pasta w/ Lamb Ragu (Saturday Night Special) and I had the Steak and Frites w/ Chimi-Churri. The food came out beautifully presented, and even more so beautifully seasoned. Typically we have been disappointed with seasoning on pasta and steak, however they NAILED IT! The seasoning wasn't only on point, the quality of the cook on the food and the portion size were great. First visit review - Brunch. Totally satisfying brunch. The frittata was light and delicious. Well cooked asparagus and a perfect amount of goat cheese with a basil EVO drizzle. Egg was slightly over cooked, however. The trout eggs benedict was decent and better than I've had in the Kimball Jct area thus far. I would've liked if it came out warmer. The egg was was well done. They have a small, cute coffee bar with pastries. Clean bathroom. Free sparkling water if you're into that kind of thing. Just went to Bartolo's for dinner and it exceeded our expectations by far! It might be my favorite restaurant in park city. Everything is homemade and so perfectly balanced, fresh and delicious. It was a Tuesday night and they were not super busy AND we had a reservation. When we walked in no one greeted us and it's not clear where you're supposed to check in. The restaurant is one big open space with the kitchen visible to the entire place. After standing there looking lost and ready to walk out, someone came up to us and asked our name. They couldn't find our reservation for several minutes. It was awkward and we were really hungry. We were seated and then ignored for a long time. I was ready to walk out. Finally someone came to take our drink order. The drinks took a long time to arrive, No one offered us bread, or offered to take our order. I finally walked around the restaurant to find someone to take our order but she didn't speak English well and her accent was so thick she was basically not understandable. If you're going to have someone serving people and taking orders, it would be helpful if they could be understood. I ordered the burrata which was really good, but a tiny portion for the price. My advice, don't go here. It's not worth the drive and the service was atrocious. The price and the location aren't worth the drive out of park city. I cannot find decent Italian food in Utah county so it was nice to try Bartolo's in Park City! We tried a variety of dishes and every single one was extremely well executed. The pasta is made in house, the flavors were fresh, and the portions were hearty. I loved their garlic bread and all the pastas I tried. The stand out dish,in my opinion, was the peach salad. It was INCREDIBLE and seasonal so you've got to get it soon! The ricotta and burrata were amazing and I would honestly go back just for another huge scoop of their ricotta! If you want low quality microwaved food, then come eat here. My family came here based off the 4/5 star reviews, thinking it was going to be great. However, we were VERY unsatisfied. We ordered 4 different dishes, and 4 received mediocre, overpriced, microwaved meals. The garlic bread is so garlicky, i'm pretty sure they could use it to repel mosquitos. The pasta? Overcooked and gummy like. The flavor? Boring and lackluster. Even salt and pepper didn't help improve the LACK of flavor. Do you want to know what the food taste likes here? Have you ever had a Marie Calendar meal? Even those make for better meals for 1/8th of the price. You pay an arm and a leg for food here, and you will be disappointed. They charged me $140 for NOTHING. I made a reservation the day before, then tried to cancel it at 2pm the day of the reservation. When I tried to call them, they did not answer. The voice message system said press 7 to speak with someone, then when I pressed 7, it repeated the same message. There was no option to leave a message to cancel the reservation. Ripoff, and a scam. They billed me $35 PER PERSON for a total of $140, when I did not even eat there, and called to try to cancel in advance of the reservation. read more
