Beautiful restaurant with great food and views! We enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the patio with great weather. The sunrise classic and breakfast burrito were excellent. I miss the potatoes already - perfectly crispy and seasoned. My group enjoyed their coffees, as well. The restaurant was clean and staff were very nice. My only wish is for them to have fresh juices available, rather than just bottled juice. Not a deal breaker though. The restaurant is located inside the lodge. Close to the skiing area and they have good food and coffee. I now try to go back every time I'm in PC. They used to have some custom bake goods but I couldn't remember Last time what it was and didn't see it. It's in a hotel and has a great deck area overlooking a lake. read more

Great chill vibe. They're very accommodating of certain diets, have great service, and the location has some gorgeous views. Next door to a spot you can go to paddle board, kayak, etc. In terms of the food, the tuna sandwich was really good. I heard good things about the salads, the chili, and that you can't go wrong with their breakfasts. I believe the Wasatch came recommended. This was our third trip to Park City, UT. Our 1st was in 2017 and this was one of our favorites. Our second was in 2020 and we thought Covid had just done a number on them. Today (2023) we returned and were pretty disappointed. This is a counter service restaurant where they hand you a number and deliver your food, then bus tables afterwards. Filtered water was available self-serve. There are a few tables indoors and a lot of outdoor seating on the patio. Most of the tables are shaded or can be shaded (depending on the time of day). It's next to a lake and in a mountain basin, so it has a pretty view. My 7-months pregnant wife and I had just wrapped up the Bloods Lake Trail hike with our kids (2 yo and 4 yo) and had checked out their menu online. I was mostly looking forward to the bagel and lox. However upon arrival, we noticed there was no lox on their extremely limited menu. We ordered the turkey panini and the loaded turkey chili nachos. There wasn't anything WRONG with the food, it just wasn't amazing. The bread of the panini was pretty hard (but not out of limits for what a panini should be). The flavor was good and the portion was alright (it came with homemade potato chips and a pickle). The nachos were also okay. Nothing special and from a portion standpoint was good for one person as a meal or two as an appetizer. I added a 15% tip at the counter and our total was was almost $43. Probably on par for Park City prices, but we remember how amazing this place used to be and we are sad it's lost its amazingness. We'd definitely rather spent that $43 on something less vanilla. We'll check out the menu on future trips in hopes that things improve, but this place has moved from "must visit" to "pass" on our list. read more

Beautiful location. Great patio. We ate breakfast and lunch there. I had the french toast which was loaded with fruit and a beautiful presentation. My wife's eggs were excellent too. Service was good I spite of them forgetting the coffee order. The setting is great. Nice deck outside overlooking a lake. Very nice. We ordered the grand salomi and the classic. The GS was very good. It's an omelette with cheese arugula and bacon on a very tasty bagel. The classic which is two eggs, potato's , bacon and toast. Eggs , well were eggs. Good. Toast good. Bacon good. Potato's were meh. And oh so salty. Barely could them. This dish is $16. It's nothing special and not worth the cost. The coffee once it showed up was very very hot and tasted horrible. Not very good coffee. If rating service and Ambience I'd say at least 4 stars. But food is king when it comes to ratings. And in this case it was not great sans the bagel sandwich. read more

I loved this place! First of all, it's one of the more affordable places to eat in Deer Valley. Second, it overlooks a pretty little pond and has the perfect deck to eat on if the weather is nice! Welp, the reviews got this one right!!!! Beautiful grounds and well kept resort. We didn't sleep here, jus a nice relaxing brunch visit. All the staff were welcoming & explained the menu. I really loved how the service was set up, seating inside & out for dining. Free water which is a plus! The food was Phenomenal & fresh, literally everything was awesome, yes a little over priced, but what do you expect. I paid and would do it again for great service, simple a chill spot after running around all morning in Park City, UT vacationing. You can also do some water activities on site. Alert. Here holds one of my new favorite sandwiches in all of Utah! The turkey bacon club, and I'm not sure what exactly is even in it, but know that the turkey flavor is amazing, the crisp sweet bacon is perfect, and the cheese cuts with a great balance, and the BREAD!!! Best bread for a sandwich, hands down! We also tried the open face chicken salad sandwich, again, absolutely delish! They had a summer special salad with chicken, cucumber, quinoa, blueberries, roasted cashews, and cheese. It was good, but for $16, it was small, and definitely not worth it, which docked a star in my books. The turkey chili is awesome. Ended with a sweet raisin cinnamon roll, so good! Passed by deer valley mainly because of the location cause we wanted to be at the slopes as early as possible while still eating breakfast out. Arrived at 7:30am right when they opened and we were the first customers, around 8am another people started to coming in. I went with the southwestern scramble wrap which was good but felt that it's mostly eggs rather the other ingredients they mentioned in the menu. I got a taste from my wife's avocado toast which is just ok so I was happy with my choice. Finally we finished off with the Dutch baby which was not as sweet as I thought it would be. Here expecting delicious breakfasts: prices are high but may be in line for most resort restaurants. We were told that the Dutch Baby was a pancake and even asked the cashier who confirmed. It's actually an omelet. It was delicious BUT is not a pancake. We also split a breakfast wrap which was mostly wrap and potato. Not impressed. read more

My family and I had brunch on the deck overlooking the pond. It was a beautiful day to sit outside. I ordered the ham and cheese croissant with a spinach salad. Both were excellent! Someone else ordered the breakfast sandwich and said it was the best sandwich he's ever had! Kids had the fruit crepes which were also good. But putting aside how tasty the food was, it was a bit pricey. Guess you pay that being in the Deer Valley area. Even after saying that, I would definitely eat here again and highly recommend it. Dogs are welcome on the outside deck. The kids had fun playing corn hole and in the lake sand while we enjoyed the deck and sun. read more

Even though Thanksgiving was only yesterday, having said that we couldnt resist their Turkey chili and Smoked Turkey Panini sandwich. OMG it was an amazing warm meal, the chili was heavenly, very good flavors, topoed with sour cream, cheese and salsa, served with two small soft corn muffins on the side. The Sandwich bread was made of rosemary, the turkey was nicely sliced very juicey, with a soft mozzarella cheese, topped with rosted red peppers and arugula very well pressed the sandwich will jusf melt in your mouth!!! They say location makes everything and this spot has the best of locations. It has been one of my favorite secret gems in Utah and try to make it up there a few times in the year. Great food, great view and just a small little place where you can get away from the worries of the world. So why the 3 stars. Honestly, I am struggling between 3 stars and 4 stars because this place is 5 stars hands down but I think this pandemic has gotten little out of hand up there in a sense of their atmosphere and approach to COVID. I don't know if it is hotel's policy they have to follow or they are just being overly cautious but they have taken away dishes and coffee cups and everything. When you order, everything it is handed to you in a to go bag but everything is also the same price from pre-pandemic days. This the first restaurant I've been to that is doing this. This really, I feel, takes away from the atmosphere. I ordered lox's plate, it is one of my favorite dishes and I go to this place because they do it the best, I feel, in Utah. I was really disappointed when they handed me a to- go container and I found out I had to build the dish myself. On top of that, we asked for water and they said we had to buy bottled water, the over priced hotel bottled water, like 3-4 bucks. That I was really surprised by as no other restaurant I have been to does this. While I know ingredients are not cheap, the labor of serving the dish and the experience the dish brings to the consumer should take part in the price. The the lox's and bagels were 17 - 18 dollar, the same price pre-pandemic, and I am handed a to-go container where I basically have to make it myself. That in my book is a unacceptable. Either don't serve it or lower the price because you are lowering the experience and atmosphere of the consumer. We come to a restaurant for the experience, if I wanted to make my own lox's and bagels, I could have done that at home for a much cheaper price. I am totally understanding of the pandemic and am not saying they should lighten up their restrictions but they are hurting the atmosphere that they've created with this restaurant. I drive 30 - 40 minutes out of my way for that atmosphere. If they are going to lower the expectations of that atmosphere/ customer experience, they should lower their prices otherwise they may lose more customers than they want during this pandemic. I will definitely be back, this place is still amazing but unless they lower their prices, I will most likely come back after this pandemic is over. read more

This place used to be so good and now it's mediocre at best. Once Deer Valley was bought out, it's all been downhill. The staff seems unhappy, the place is dirty, the charm is gone. The food here is delicious! It's very fresh and clean, starts with high quality ingredients and doesn't mess them up. This is very much like what I would cook or prepare at home, but better, much better, and that makes me quite happy. The flavors are great, everything is well seasoned and cooked perfectly. A few qualifications though: It is quite pricey for what it is, but that is this location, everything is expensive here. There are many reviews that say the portions here are large or huge. I am a healthy and much smaller than average-sized woman and I found the portions here to be small. For instance, the shrimp tempura taco plate came with 2 tacos, 2 regular sized tacos, not tex-mex-big-ass-tacos. It really should have come with 3 tacos and a size of black beans or salad. I think most active people would find that you need to add an appetizer, salad, or soup to your entree to really be satisfied when you leave here. I would take issue with the warm water service - if I'm paying $15 for a sandwich surely that covers the cost of producing ice for the water?!?! I was admittedly too tired/lazy to go ask for ice, I'm sure someone would have given me a glass, but really, is that the sort of thing you should have to go ask for? Also, if it isn't already clear, this restaurant does not offer table service, so you must return to the counter and wait in line if you need anything (like ice) that did not come with your original order. read more

It did not disappoint, and my group stopped by for breakfast and lunch during our recent visit. Still delicious. I had the Dutch Baby pancake, which was delicious and filling. DON'T BLINK OR YOU WILL MISS IT ! After driving by 100 times, I stopped to see what the hoopla was about. There are some things I will pay a lot of money for, and some things I won't. Most of the items here I WON'T . There were some divine looking pastries, but I just knew they were made with real butter as we are talking DEER VALLEY KITCHENS here, so a negatory on them. But then....what is that in the rear of the case ??? a..a...a... personal size petite bacon quiche in a little fluted pan? So what if it is 3 in the afternoon, I'm quiching it and no one can stop me !! Granted, I had to wait forever for the chef to heat it up, but boy oh boy. By the time I bit into it, it was piping hot from the oven and tasted fresh, not a reheat. The crust was melt in your mouth and F L A K E Y .. I did not know an egg pie could be that divine. I was really impressed with the menu - creative interesting dishes that tasted delicious. They source locally from Copper Moose farm - one if the best organic/biodynamic farms I know of anywhere. And it showed. Truly great greens and other veggies. My husband loved his chicken enchilada and I was thrilled with my falafel, tzatziki sauce and mixed greens. Really good deer-valley-quality food! Location is very convenient - inside The Deer Valley Plaza, right where deer valley dr loop splits to go around the lake - and you avoid the skier crowds, in case you're just craving deer valley delicious food. There is a free shuttle that takes you to deer valley resort. They offer convenience products like bread and cheeses as well. I had the fish tacos, they were ok but not as good as the fish tacos in Empire Canyon Lodge. My husband had the chicken tandoori wrap and it was delicious! They serve breakfast until 1130, and lunch from 1130 on. Coffees are also really good. I'd recommend it for a quick bite! read more
