The sauna was very tiny - only two people can comfortably fit in there at once. The steam room was equally as small, didn't work, and had a weird smell. The spa amenities were a bit disappointing for the steep prices. The spa services themselves were very good - everyone enjoyed their massage or facial. Sandy advised that she could enhance my jawline by adding more filler in my chin. Apparently, what I requested is known as the "Texas Jawline."" Texas Jaw Treatments typically use Hyaluronic Acid Fillers to reshape and strengthen your jawline. Fillers are injectable substances that are absorbed by the skin to instantly add volume and create a lifting effect. Some products also trigger the production of collagen, which is the main constituent of skin, bones, and ligaments. To achieve my desired look, Sandy recommended using Restylane lyft and Restylane define. When injected into the hands, Restylane Lyft reduces the appearance of sagging skin, making the tendons and bones of the hand less visible. The injection of hyaluronic acid also triggers the production of collagen, which naturally provides more structure to the skin for longer. Similar to other products listed in the previous review of services rendered here, results of this filer have been shown to last up to 1 year with Restylane Lyft in the cheeks; up to 6 months in facial wrinkles and folds, like nasolabial folds; and up to 6 months in the hands. Sandy is extremely meticulous when it comes to providing fillers and explaining what benefits may arise from using various fillers. While this, by far, is the most unpleasant feeling during the injection of all the fillers I have used in the past, the end result of the filler is probably the most noticeable (in a good way). Crystal and Ken were both incredible and skilled in their profession. I left the spa feeling silky smooth! Some unique things this spa does that I haven't seen at other spas is the really sweet complimentary start to your session. They offer a foot soak or neck steam prior to your treatment. They also hand you a little sheet to personalize your treatment during check in. There's cucumber water and hot tea in the lounge area. The dressing/changing rooms are clean, serene and the lockers are easy to use! Hiatus is pricey but really worth it. My massage (Truly Yours) also was supposed to come with a glass of champagne but I never got it.. My only complaint is during check out there was a woman working the register around 4:20 on 11/10 and her boyfriend was behind the desk.. how unprofessional! It is one of those hidden gems that remind you that Austin still has really cool places to discover. The place is so peaceful and comfortable that I didn't experience any nervousness like I have in the past going to first visits at other places. The massage itself was simply the best. Brittany's Ashiatsu got deep down into the sore tissue layers of my back and relaxed my muscles in ways that have persisted quite a bit longer than I was expecting. I can tell that there has been a significant reduction in the inflammation I typically carry in my back. I'll absolutely be going back again. They also offer a variety of different kinds of facials that all sound incredible that I want to try. Overall, I couldn't be happier to have found Spa La La
