Stopped in for the first time to get cupcakes for my niece's birthday. I was impressed with the selection that they offer. The bakery had cakes, cupcakes, cookies, tons of pastries etc. They also had a full menu for breakfast, lunch and of course all of the fancy coffee drinks. Although they were busy the employees were friendly and got the job done. The girl who helped us answered all of our questions and gave us instructions on how to let the cupcakes defrost. I was surprised to hear that they were frozen, but wow were they delicious! The store had a cafe vibe with small tables setup throughout with plenty of seating. It was clean and welcoming. I'll definitely be back!

I stopped here to get takeout this week and was overall disappointed with my visit. I had just left a lunch meeting at panera across 19 where I just had a drink; it has been about 6 years since I had Bartram's and I was curious to try it again since I was so close and in the area. I tried calling for takeout and no one answered so I just went across the street to order. You have to wait in line to order at the counter, and I had to wait about 15 minutes just to order. No big deal. I ordered a chocolate croissant, a cuban sandwich with chips, and the spicy asian salad; I was starving and was hoping to have leftovers for dinner. After ordering, I sat in the restaurant to wait for my order. It took 30 minutes which was just frustrating- I waited over 45 minutes total including the ordering time, all of which could have been avoided if I could've ordered over the phone and waited at Panera with my work until my food was done. While I was waiting for my order, a kitchen staff member seems to be having a very loud meltdown in the kitchen that could be easily heard in the dining area. I heard slamming and a man yelling the F word and screaming for two minutes. I get having your moments in a restaurant or even being understaffed- I've been there- but this behavior within earshot of customers was ridiculous and really turned me off. I didn't check the bag until I got back to work. My chips were missing, and I explicitly asked what came with the sandwich. The cuban sandwich was awesome! I would definitely order that again, but it was sort of small for the $13 price tag- especially considering I didn't get a side with it. The asian chicken salad was just simply not good. The chicken and spicy dressing were fine, but the salad was like a wedge salad- it was a giant piece of iceberg lettuce cut in half. I asked what came on it and was told it had walnuts but those weren't on my salad. I liked the snap peas on it, and it also had carrots and red pepper. It was just pretty tasteless, and the iceberg lettuce just made it all seem very plain. I ate the chicken and the peas out of the salad and threw most of it away, a waste of $15. I loved the croissant part of my pastry but the chocolate wasn't my favorite- I would get a plain one if I went back. The staff was very friendly, including the man who took my order and the man who brought me my food. I would return for a plain croissant and a cuban, but based on the other elements of my visit, I would be hesitant to return when there are so many other restaurants in the area.

Go on Saturday - the hot food is better. We went on a Sunday before church and was woefully underwhelmed but spent quite a bit, unfortunately. Pastries are always delish.

I used to really love this place for pastries. I knew they had breakfast so my husband and I stopped in. The place looked kinda empty. It used to be such a visual display of pastries but there wasn't much to look at. The woman who took our order was new but didn't try to get answers to our questions, she just said "I'm new, I don't know." On top of the poor customer service it was a little dirty in there. I noticed a bunch of crumbs around the cash register, our table was dirty when we sat down, the coffee car area was messy and the bathroom was kind of dingy. The food was just average. My breakfast sandwich came on just white, dry bread. And the turkey sausage was links cut up which you can see fell off of my sandwich. For what they charge, the service is poor, the place is not very cleanly and the food is average. We won't be going back to this location.

Great pastries, cupcakes and other baked goods. The largest and best breakfast burrito I've ever had.

I never had many if any prescriptions so I guess it's hard for me to accurately say if it's gone down hill or not but I know in the past few months that I have had several new prescriptions and the entire experience at Giant Eagle has been horrid. I really do hope that the management reads these reviews and takes them seriously as honest constructive criticism and tries to make things better. Trying to call the pharmacy and actually speaking to a person is nearly impossible. I had to call 20 times over 2 days to finally get through. Red flag there. Not enough staff. Secondly, when you finally do get through - you are greeted with overly rude, condescending and outfight hostile staff. Nobody should have to put up with that kind of treatment. NOBODY I blame management, the workers are just a reflection of their work environment and the supervisors they work for. Something is seriously wrong here. Not going back

I had a reservation, which could be made only over the phone, but upon my arrival, many tables were available. The seating hostess and the waiter served us well. The menu listed starters (e.g., artichoke-crab dip and provolone wheel), soups, salads, entrees (e.g., pork chop, beef brisket, chicken-sausage penne, and shrimp scampi), seafoods (e.g., ahi yellowtail tuna, salmon, sea bass, trout, and scallops), sandwiches, desserts, alcoholic beverages, etcetera. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Bread with oil - 4 stars - This free bread was room temperature so could have been warmer, but it did taste good. Crab cake - 4.5 stars - Many people online had recommended this crab cake. I ate this crab cake as an appetizer, but it is also available as a main course. The crab cake was a medium size, and it contained a good amount of crab meat. Swordfish - 3.5 stars - The waiter recommended this fish, and I forgot that it is not one of my favorites. It came with an almond-banana crust. I could taste the almonds but not so much the banana. My sides were a cauliflower mix and a house salad. Filet mignon - 4 stars - My husband ordered this steak mid-rare. It had some red and pink but was not juicy. It did taste very good. My husband chose sides of a baked potato and a house salad, which tasted as expected. Pecan Ball - 4.5 stars - This dessert was ice cream covered in pecans, whipped cream, and a cherry. The total price for the four foods and one iced tea was $99 plus tax and a tip.

We sat at the bar and I got a Chocolate Pear Martini and my Boyfriend got a glass of one of their Red Blends. The bar tenders were very friendly and super attentive. My drink was delicious and ended up actually having 2! (I highly recommend it!) We started our meal with an appetizer - we got the Crab Artichoke Dip with Tortilla Chips. 10/10 would recommend! So creamy and flavorful. I am super picky with my Crab Dips but this was spot on delicious! For dinner I ordered the Brisket- you get 2 sides with it and I got a salad and a baked potato. My boyfriend got the 2 Crab Cakes- he was excited because not many places offer Gluten-free Crab Cakes- and he also got 2 sides. He got a salad and the mixed vegetables. The food was super delicious and so filling. Good price points ans great portion sizes! Finally for dessert we got the Gluten Free Chocolate Tort! It was so decadent and rich but not too overly sweet. A perfect dessert to end the night! We have been looking for more Gluten-free options around the South Hills and we found a good one! My boyfriend also loves seafood and since they have a lot of options we WILL be going back for more things to try!
