My friend catered with this place for her son's 1st birthday. The food was absolutely amazing! The smash burgers were cooked to perfection. The brisket was melt in your mouth heavenly and the chicken was very flavorful. The sides included creamed corn, baked beans and Mac n cheese. All so delicious. Great service and efficient considering they (two gentleman) were catering for a party with 80+ people! Highly recommend them as a guest who attended and enjoyed their food!

The owner was very cool. The wait was not long at all. I like the smoky flavor that the brisket had. I wasn't a huge fan of the Mac n Cheese texture but I tried some other sides such as the cream corn, chili, and baked beans. I would recommend the other sides. The food truck also looked very clean and well maintained.

Absolutely some of the best brisket I've ever tasted and the sauce slaps hard as well Gotta try the amazing sides next.

BRISKET! Probably some of the best brisket I've ever had. My wife's favorite was the pork burnt ends (my 2nd favorite item). Pork ribs were good but were overshadowed by brisket and burnt ends. BBQ sauce was pretty amazing as well, perfect combo of sweet and tangy. With how good the meat was, I had high hopes for the sides but was left underwhelmed. The smoked bbq beans looked great but the beans were significantly undercooked. Some may prefer it that way but I don't. The cream corn was simple, nothing special. The Mac n cheese and cornbread were also just ok. With how amazing the brisket, burnt ends and bbq sauce were, you could've given me paper napkins as sides and I still would've had a great meal. I'd definitely recommend this spot for the meat/ bbq sauce and I wouldn't get your hopes too high for the sides.

A few weeks ago I signed up for the Lynwood 5K. A few days before the race, Bartz Barbecue posted on IG that they'd be having a Saturday morning breakfast sandwich pop up outside the Alondra Golf Course parking lot. I secured a pickup time slot via their website and after the race, arrived about 15 minutes prior to my pickup time. After meeting Dustin and Malcom, they mentioned that I was the first to arrive so they went ahead and prepared my breakfast sandwich. Dustin slapped some homemade thick cut bacon on the griddle and the delicious smell immediately permeated the air, very exciting stuff. He smashed down a burger and slapped on some cheese. Meanwhile, Malcom prepared the egg and buns. A few moments later, Dustin assembled and finished my breakfast sandwich with a wonderful salsa verde. Post 5K, the breakfast sandwich was everything I could have hoped for. The yolk/ salsa combination that develops as you eat cuts through the richness of the thick cut bacon and wagyu in a way that each bite tastes like the first. The thick cut bacon is very lean and meaty and the wagyu is tasty and not over seasoned. Customers after me ordered the Anti-Dream breakfast sandwich received fresh slices of brisket to top their sandwiches. Dustin was kind enough to offer me a slice of the end, which is arguably the best tasting part. The pastrami crust was exceptional and the brisket itself was moist and as tender as it gets. At this point I turned to notice a line of 7-10 customers eagerly watching me finish my sandwich, impressive for 9:45am on a Saturday. Overall, the breakfast sandwich was a grand slam, the brisket was amazingly flavorful and tender, and Dustin and Malcom were wonderful hosts. Below is an example of their rotating pre-order breakfast menu. they also have lunch/ dinner/ catering bbq options that are available for pickup after 11ish. Thicker Boy Bacon Breakfast Sandwich Includes: 1/4 LB of house made Thick Cut Bacon, American cheese, egg, Tijuana Freddy's Salsa Verde (Not Spicy), between a Brioche Bun Breakfast Sandwich Includes: 1/4 beef wagyu smashburger, apple wood bacon, egg, Tijuana Freddy's Salsa Verde, Brioche bun Anti-Dream Breakfast Sandwich Includes: 1/4 LB Wagyu Smash burger, Brisket, house made bacon, egg, Tijuana Freddy's Salsa Verde (Not Spicy) on a brioche bun

Dustin is an amazing dude. Down to earth and funny. Pricing is amazing. His sides could be a little better like the Mac and cheese, but at his pop ups he usually doesn't even have sides or drinks anyways. He sells out fast so don't sleep on days he is doing something,

Trying to find legit bbq in Los Angeles is like trying to find a needle in an absurdly large haystack littered with Kombucha bottle but these guys MAKE.IT.HAPPEN!!! I discovered them about a year ago at La Ale works and have been a hardcore fan ever since. In that time they've made some great upgrades in their service and their meat quality. Yes the premium meats come at a premium price but I promise you it is worth every penny and the portions are more than enough to share. I especially love the pork belly burnt ends and Wagyu brisket. The Prime Beef rib is also amazing. Bartz also does sides awesomely well. Most bbq spots are a miss or just okay with sides, but their bbw beans with bits of smoked meat are phenomenal as well as the creamed corn and mac n cheese. I usually get double of these when I share meats with my friends because I refuse to share sides that good. Pro TIp: GET THERE EARLY. I hate to tell the secret but I'd be a terrible Yelp friend if I didn't. Even with the prices you will see people with loaded platters, yes platterS with an S, and the favorites go quickly. Take at least 2 friends and order a few things so you can try it all, you wont regret it.

Bartz smoked Mac n cheese is the absolute best! My heart is sad I can't eat it all the time. Creamed corn was a great side option. The ribs were delicious, tender, and juicy. Do not attempt to eat the ribs the next day. This is not for leftover eating.

Food was prepped and ready at the time requested, and was still warm and ready to eat. Packaged well and nothing missing. Usually I get Korean catering from k-town, but it was too inconvenient this time around. I was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was, and I was not disappointed by anything. The galbi was a bit pricey, but galbi costs now are ridiculous so not shocking. It was tender and the marinade was solid. The chicken wings though...wow. They really stood out and were some of the best Korean chicken wings I've had. Banchan all solid and good to go. If you need kfood catering, give them a try!

I found this place because I wanted to find a good place that catered Korean food. I'm not Korean but sometimes wish I was since the food is so good. First things first, if you're reading this and do not know Korean, know that the owner knows limited English. If you go see her, ask for her son, Jason, and she'll give you his phone number to coordinate. Jason was a lifesaver and helped me order everything. He was easy to work with, patient and understanding. I had no issues coordinating with him. Then when it came to the food, I got bulgogi, marinated chicken, kimchi fried rice and kimbap to serve about 35 people for a total of $650 so it came out to just shy of $20/person . As you can see prices are pretty high but its Korean food and the meat is grade A quality, tender and the fat has been trimmed so its somewhat expected. Also even feeding that many people we had quite a bit of left overs. I've eaten it the last two dinners and still enjoy it as much as the first day! The food was prepared on time, well packaged and everything. Oh and they prefer cash for best price. Try them out and you won't be disappointed!

We paid for the service, and those leftovers were part of what we paid for. Extremely disappointed. Money is tight these days, and we felt taken advantage of--especially since some of our guests were still hungry after he left. CUSTOMER BEWARE! Updated reply to Larry: Larry, I was recommended by my sister in law who even thought this was odd and never had this issue with you folks before. I appreciate you taking the time to respond, but your reply comes across as dismissive rather than addressing the real issue. The problem isn't a misunderstanding of your business model--it's the lack of clarity and customer service at the event. If you advertise an "all-you-can-eat" taco bar for a set time, guests reasonably expect food to be available throughout that period, not just until you decide to stop serving. Additionally, the way you've framed your response--blaming the customer for leaving a review rather than taking constructive feedback--only reinforces the frustration. Instead of assuming we didn't read your policies, perhaps consider whether your policies were communicated effectively in advance and during the event. At the end of the day, customer satisfaction should matter more than simply justifying how your business operates. Based on this experience and your response, I wouldn't recommend your services!!!
