I've wanted to eat here for a while... I finally got the chance to eat at '"sauced'" today. The service was amazing. Everyone was happy and accommodating. The restaurant was very spacious. The food was good; the bbq ribs were the best item that I personally enjoyed. My guest enjoyed the brisket. Overall I would recommend this spot.

Food: 3/5 Burnt ends, corn, slice bread were all very tasty! The drinks were the highlight! The burnt ends tasted good, a bit too much sauce for me. The corn was great! The old Fashions really hit the spot. Service: 5/5 Staff was awesome! Very quick, friendly, and accommodating! Ambience: 5/5 Great decor, games, seating!

Went here with family and it was chill. Lots of parking in the lot outside and it was pretty easy coming in to get a table. The food was not bad. We ordered the 3 meat dish (pulled pork, brisket, ribs, mac n cheese and mashed potatoes), which fed me, my husband, and my momma. My in-laws ordered the 3 meat too except with the pork belly, sweet potato tots, and beans. Theirs was also good. I like that they offer high chairs and booster seats for the kiddos that you can just easily grab. We didn't try the axe throwing but that area seemed so rowdy. Love the plethora of televisions all around too. My only complaint is I think there needs to be more employees working. It took way too long to get our orders taken. Not to mention, we had to wait forever for staff to even walk by when we needed plates to eat our food. I was looking around at the tables, and I saw multiple people (including myself) trying to wave down the server. One woman even got up to wait by the server as she was taking an order at another table. P.S. The mac-n-cheese was delicious!

I've been to the Sauced in San Jose, but the El Segundo location definitely has a different vibe! It's bigger, much livelier, has a separate bar, and lots of game space (e.g. bocce ball outside, ax throwing, darts, and arcade). One thing that I'm glad stayed consistent are their Rednexican Nachos and Swamp Fries! The Rednexican Nachos come with poblano queso, black beans, corn, jalapeno, cilantro, and tin roof with your choice of smoked chicken, pulled pork, or chopped brisket. I appreciate that they offer both a Runt and Full Size because the Full size is huge! The Swamp Fries have house rub, brisket, poblano queso, baked beans, tin roof, chipotle lime, ranch, and green onion. Also very tasty. Their bbq dishes are pretty good, but these two menu items are what keep us coming back! I got a 2 Meat Combo to share with sliced brisket and brisket burnt ends. The burnt ends are always a fave and the brisket was tender. For our sides, we got the Roasted Garlic Greens Beans and the Sweet Potato Casserole. The Green Beans were ok--a little soggy and not very garlicky. The Sweet Potato was just mashed sweet potato with some brown sugar on top. Probably wouldn't get that side again. I tried some of the BBQ Glazed Salmon with caramelized tin roof, mashed potatoes corn succotash, fried onion strings, cornbread, and cinnamon butter. The salmon was moist and pretty tasty. Would get this again!

Had a hankering for BBQ Chicken and it was exactly what I needed. Half chicken with 2 sides, potato salad and slaw. Coming back again and again for this delicious meal! Service on a Sunday evening was great! Ambiance/ sat at the high tables at the bar. It wasn't quiet but it wasn't crowded. Perfect dinner!

TL;DR Version: Most disgusting bbq I've ever had in 38 years of planetary existence. Full Story: I'm from Texas and this review is my version of a bad broken record... ... .... ..... ...... No. Hell no. Disrespectful. Absurd. Preposterous. Wildly Disrespectful. How dare you? No. Just no. Nice spicy bbq sauce though! Tasty! As for everything else... ... .... ..... ...... No. Hell no. Disrespectful. Absurd. Preposterous. Wildly Disrespectful. How dare you? No. Just no. ... .... ..... ...... In case it wasn't clear Sauced: Your food is complete, uboliterated garbage that you should be ashamed to serve. Your service is way too average to below average to ever justify paying stupid prices for such unobliterated, hot garbage food. I hope your restaurant fails gratuitously very soon. The restaurant's existence feels like a s*** stain on my neighborhood. I've never been so angry eating bbq in my life. I wouldn't feed your trashy, dry a** ribs, disgusting burnt ends with 0 meat and 100% fat, and jalapeno cheese sausage that had 0 spice to a starving, stray dog on its last legs. Also, your cornbread is a goddamn abomination and you deserve to actually be arrested by federal authorities for trafficking such traumatic and violently disgusting food to humans who eat with these things known as "taste buds." THAT is NOT cornbread. THAT is white California girl BULLS***. This place also astonishingly just lathers their awful food in weird sauces and glazes like it's going to somehow magically make the food edible... New name for Sauced: Lipstick on a Pig. You can have that name for free Lipstick on a Pig...I won't even file for the IP rights! I really hate you Lipstick on a Pig.

Cheddar Jalapeno Sausage, pork belly burnt ends
    Jim E.

Food was ok, had the pork belly burnt ends, they were overcooked, the jalapeno cheddar sausage was ok but not vet spicy. Had rice and garlic mash for sides, they were the best part of the meal. Service was mediocre, waiter did not check on us to the end of the meal, no water refills until the end of the meal. It's more of a sports bar than anything else and it is very noisy. Conversations are difficult. Prices were ok but near the high end, Quality and Service makes this someplace that I will not return to.

Random stopped by. When we yelped it it looked like a chill spot with plenty of entertainment. We came on Labor Day and it was not as crowded but still very chill including the service. The bbq was good but the sides were okay. I got the smoked 1/2 chicken which was good but nothing special and the smoked tri tip which I thought was just right and tender. The coleslaw just didn't hit like other ones have while the garlic mashed potatoes tasted a little too overseasoned and so did the Mac and cheese. However, my fiancé got the baked potato with Mac and cheese stuffed inside and that was delicious! Flavored just right. They have an arcade as well as axe throwing and bocce in the front. I can see this spot turning up on other days but I understand might have been a little dead since people were out of town. Plenty of parking spots in this big shopping center with other stores.

3 Meat Combo with Ribs, Pork Belly Burnt Ends, Brisket, Sweet Potato Casserole, & Corn Succotash ($45) 06-14-2025

We love Sauced! We are glad there's one in El Segundo! Hubby & I came here with our son and his wife on a Sunday evening. We all had a great time while noshing on the flavorful foods! This is a great place for fun, food, and drinks! If you want to throw axes, they have 4 cages where you can pay to play. There are also some dart boards. Not sure if you have to rent the darts to play. Outside, they have a few lawn games... bocce ball and I think cornhole What we ordered: *3 Meat Combo with Brisket, Tri-Tip, Brisket Burnt Ends, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, & Baked Beans *3 Meat Combo with Ribs, Pork Belly Burnt Ends, Brisket, Sweet Potato Casserole, & Corn Succotash ~ The Pork Belly Burnt Ends were thick tasty pieces that were cooked nicely. *Corn Bread & Butter ~ you get four large pieces of corn bread in an order. The corn bread has bits of corn in it. It comes with some sweet butter and is really good! The meats were full of smoky goodness! They have four different BBQ Sauces. I am a fan of the Hot Tin Roof and our D-I-L loves the Pig Candy. This is a place we will come back to for our BBQ fix!

service and atmosphere was 5 stars, great for an after work get together-- our server was great, the happy hour drinks were a great deal. The issue was really the food, everything was just mid, with some of it not being eaten at all. the pretty good-- cheddar jalapeño sausage, brisket was decent (i'm not a bbq snob i'm from california), mac and cheese/beans were decent, cornbread was ok the meh - pulled pork, pork burnt ends, tri tip do not order - sweet potato mash really just depends what you're looking for, if it's great bbq i would skip but it's great for after work drinks

3 Meat Combination Plate: Half Rack Spare Ribs, Pork Belly Burnt Ends, Sliced Brisket, garlic mashed potatoes, and baked beans
    Noah M.

The Baseline: For a sit down chain BBQ restaurant the bbq meats must be quality/tasty, the sides need to be a good accompaniment to the meats, the smoke flavor must be present, drinks should be stiff, service should be efficient, and the restaurant should have character. Food: The bbq at Sauced is pretty good with a good amount of smoke flavor and good consistency to the meat. The sides are really good with great garlic mashed potatoes and baked beans. For the meat I had good sized pork ribs, pull-apart brisket which were tasty but the smoke was a bit infused with smoke that left me with a little reflux (I fully admit it may be my anatomy on that issue). The pork belly I had was not very crisp so i might avoid that in the future. Four stars on the food. Service: Decent service but we came on Father's Day so it was busy. We got bar seating and we were taken care of pretty quickly but I had to wait for water refills. Ambiance: Great fun and great environment for a BBQ restaurant. Games, bar, outdoor patio, well organized tables and chairs. Super fun place to eat BBQ.

Food was...mediocre. It was served luke warm and the portions were very small for $26. Service was nice, and is the only reason I'm not giving it a 1-2 stars. Wouldn't return. Everything was pretty bad honestly. You could save money and eat basically anywhere else.

My kids wanted bbq so we decided to try this spot. We came in on a Thursday evening, it was very cold outside so we decided to eat inside. This restaurant is huge, they have a lot of games and entertainment. Perfect for a date or just hanging out with friends. Service was very slow, it took our waiter forever to finally come and greet us. Mind you, it was very empty, there were only about 4-5 families inside. We ordered right away, the food did not take very long, but to get containers to go and the check took soooo long!! Maybe they are used to people just wanting to hang out.. idk.. I give the burnt ends sandwich a 10/10, definitely coming back for it again! Everyone liked their food, zero complaints there. Definitely will be back!!

These plants appeared to have union representation. They're everywhere. Hanging from things. Growing out of things. Quietly observing your meal. The whole place feels like someone built a really nice restaurant and then let nature move in as a long term tenant. The room hums. Not loudly. Not aggressively. Just enough. Glasses clink. People lean into conversations. Servers weave through the room carrying plates that look heavy enough to alter their center of gravity. Nobody seems rushed. Everybody seems busy. It's a difficult balance. The biscuits arrived first. Now, I'd heard about the biscuits. People talk about these biscuits the way fishermen talk about the one that got away. Slightly dramatic. A little emotional. Hard to verify. Turns out the stories were true. Warm bacon cheddar biscuits with maple butter. I took one bite and immediately understood why people order a second round. The outside has just enough structure to remind you it's baked. The inside is soft enough to make you wonder whether butter has secretly become a building material. We ordered another. Not because we needed another. Because apparently that's what happens here. The creamy polenta showed up next and felt like the culinary equivalent of a weighted blanket. Comforting. Smooth. Relaxed. The sort of dish that encourages you to slow down and stop checking your phone. The duck was one of my favorites. Lightly fried with crisp skin and tender meat, resting on white Italian beans and rosemary. It felt like something a French chef would cook after spending a weekend in the countryside and becoming briefly inspired by fresh air. At some point you stop evaluating food and simply nod in agreement with it. This was one of those moments. Dessert was equally dangerous. The olive oil cake arrived with strawberries and disappeared much faster than logic suggested it should. The cheesecake somehow managed to be rich and light at the same time, which feels like it should violate a law of physics somewhere. Service deserves its own mention. The whole team operates like a group project where everyone actually did their part. Plates appeared when they should. Water glasses mysteriously refilled themselves. Questions were answered without anyone making you feel like you should already know the answer. The chef's French influence shows up everywhere, but not in a showy way. Nothing feels complicated for the sake of being complicated. Everything feels like somebody spent a lot of time thinking about it so you wouldn't have to. By the end of the meal, I realized Manhattan Beach Post had done something difficult. It felt special without feeling serious. You can dress up. You can come casually. You can celebrate something important or absolutely nothing at all. Just order the biscuits. The plants already know you're going to.

Some dishes could've been executed better. Going down the list of dishes I had here: - Bacon Cheddar Buttermilk Biscuits: These were more like scones rather than biscuits. Crunchy with good bacon and cheddar flavor. - Japanese Hamachi Crudo: Unique and I liked the citrusy flavor and creamy texture. However, 3 small slices of fish for $26 was overpriced. - Leafy Greens & Radicchio: Solid and crispy salad with a nice tangy dressing. The cheese also added a lot of sharp flavor which was nice. - Skirt Steak: Good flavor and char, but a bit tough. Also some dry pieces. - Chilean Sea Bass: Lemon orzo risotto was creamy and delicious. The sea bass itself was okay, nothing special. It felt overpowered by the risotto. The fish was moist and flaky though. - 20 Oz Prime Beef Ribeye: Quality was subpar relative to price. Portion size was solid by the steak itself was inconsistent. Some of the pieces were rarer while others were more well-done even though we asked for medium rare. There were also some dry pieces which I did not like. Flavor was good though. - Strawberry and Olive Oil Cake: Was confused since there was just a thin layer of cake, but realized the title also referred to the mousse. I would title it 'Strawberry Mousse with Olive Oil Cake" to make it less confusing. Regardless, this was a delicious dessert! Love the fruity strawberry and savory pistachio flavors as well as the smooth textures. - S'mores sundae: Got this on the house for my aunt's birthday. A generous portion but the components were a bit too sweet for my liking. I visited this restaurant for a birthday that I organized and my experience was overall good. Reservation was made easy using OpenTable and I could also mention it was for a birthday occasion. The ambiance was gorgeous with good mood lighting. Good for group and 1 on 1 dining. Parking is metered or street parking. Overall, I probably wouldn't come out of my way to dine here again, but my experience wasn't bad just not significant enough to put in my rotation. Would come back if someone treated me here though.

Every round that hit the table was a "pass it around, everybody try this" moment. The kind of happy hour where you're not just snacking -- you're accidentally having a full-on dinner because you can't stop ordering "one more thing." Food: Legit. Everything we tried was solid, but the wings were the standout for me -- the kind you keep reaching for even when you tell yourself you're good. Great flavor, cooked right, and they held their own against any wing spot that claims they're "known for wings." Whatever they're doing back there, keep doing that. Service / experience: This is where they really won. Trent was our guy tonight and I can't say enough about him. Manager supreme is the right title -- he wasn't just checking boxes, he was running the whole experience. He served, suggested, kept the pacing perfect, and made it feel effortless while still being locked in the entire time. You can tell when someone actually cares that your night is going well, and Trent is that dude. Major asset to this business and the kind of manager that turns first-time visits into "we're coming back next week." Atmosphere was exactly what you want for Manhattan Beach happy hour: lively, comfortable, easy to settle in, and perfect for a group. We came to try the menu and ended up staying for the vibe. Only complaint -- and it's not even on them, it's on the "beach cities trying to save the world one soggy sip at a time" vibe -- the paper straws. I swear those things last 11 minutes before they turn into a wet napkin. Let me live, Rockerfellas Bottom line: If you want a happy hour that actually delivers, Rockerfellas is it. Bring friends, come hungry, and if you get Trent taking care of you? You're in elite hands. We'll be back.

If I can tack on a 1/2 star or 1/2 point above, I would. And the only reason WHY I am not giving a…read morefull 5-star rating is because of The Rockefeller's cockamamie rule of "yes, we're dog friendly" but "you can't have your dog or your party block the sidewalk" and "we're not allowed to have the chairs out to here (indicating a particular distance on the sidewalk)", etcetera, etcetera. GIve me a break. JUST SAY that The Rockefeller isn't dog-friendly and be done with it, ok? By the way, this incident WAS on Mother's Day 2026, so the staff was particularly overwhelmed. . . so there's that timing. On a previous time my husband and I had brunch here about 4-5 months ago, we DID take our little doggie without any issue. So the staff either has to get their stories straight for next time or just say that The Rockefeller IS dog-friendly, BUT ONLY for a two- or one-person party. Other than that, The Rockefeller's Chilaquiles are phenomenal. It was flavorful and filling. Also, the Bacon & Eggs (two eggs, any style) -- which I had my eggs over-easy -- were outstanding. Bottom-line: Don't bring your dog. It's just too complicated for The Rockefeller to handle. Leave your dog at home.

Our server, Raquel, was lovely and on top of things. I had what I think is the best Mai Tai I've ever had, even while in Hawaii! Just delicious. We enjoyed the fried asparagus and bacon deviled eggs as our appetizer. The buttermilk fried chicken, crispy chicken sandwich and the ribeye melt were really good, but I am STILL thinking about how incredible Cha Cha's Spicy Rigatoni was. So incredibly creamy, and full of flavor, with just the right amount of heat. My daughter orders this every time it's on a menu, and this is by far the best I've ever tasted. SO good. We had mentioned we were celebrating our twins' birthday, and they were served two lovely pieces of chocolate cake with a candle, AND a card for each of them signed by the staff. Never have I experienced that before for a birthday in a restaurant! Just a great touch. I am SO glad my daughter suggested we go here, and every time we're in town we will return. Cannot recommend it enough!!!!
