    Banana Bread Latte

Picnic Cafe is a great space for the community. They are regularly partnering with other businesses and restaurants to put on fun events and pop-ups. I've enjoyed taking cooking classes at Picnic, just going for coffee, and I've been to one of their pop-ups with a local bookstore. Picnic Cafe isn't just a cafe - it's a place for community and gathering. The delicious coffee and baked goods are a nice bonus!

My latte was delicious and the staff were so kind and having so much fun behind the counter. It was great vibes the whole time I was there.

I recently discovered Picnic Cafe and have visited 3 times since discovery. They may not be known for their everything bagels but they are very good for SLC. Each time, I have ordered an iced strawberry matcha and my partner usually drinks an iced latte. The iced latte's are good and reliable. The iced raspberry matcha is on the sweeter side, in my opinion. The sweetness is not overwhelming but is notable compared to my other go-to matcha spot. They have a quaint inside seating area with spots to get work done. If you're there to chat, their outdoor patio is where I'd choose to sit. Parking throughout the neighborhood around, there are not assigned spots available. My one complaint is that they open at 8 am. I would love to occasionally stop by on my way to work but that is far too late. I haven't been to any other coffee shops in SLC that aren't open until 8.

I've been touring through the cafes in SLC and would definitely put this one on the list of places to stop. They have great options from the pastry counter with rotating flavors. Publik coffee beans for their drinks and a really welcoming environment. It's clean and simple inside and the drinks are great. It's street parking, but tucked off the busy roads, so easier to access. Plenty of seating for a reasonable sized group and open seating to work from during the week day.

Absolutely love this little cafe. They have such fun everchanging drink options, friendly service and the entire shop is drenched in sunlight. A great spot for catching up, meetings and getting some work done. Big fan of their matcha, its rich and earthy while still sweet.

Tried the banana cream pie latte and i really enjoyed it. It gets better in the end too. A little on the sweet side. I usually try a mocha so they added mocha syrup to it. Will have to go back to try the Vietnamese I keep hearing about.

I'm from Los Angeles and this cafe is by FAR the best coffee I've have had in Utah and the best coffee shop I've been to in Utah. I got the halva latte and it is delicious. I love that their coffee is not acidic at all compared to other coffee shops in Utah. The price of the coffee is similar to the price of coffee at other coffee shops in Salt Lake City but 1000% worth the price. All their baked goods are homemade and the people who work here are so kind and have such good energy. Definitely a great place to start your day. It is also a great place to study or get some work done. They have wifi and have quite a few outlets along the wall. Since I am in school during the day, I do wish their hours were a little longer or open earlier, but it is a nice treat for me to come on the weekends. They do not have a parking lot, but parking is pretty easy since they are located in a nice quiet neighborhood near Liberty park. If you are in the area you MUST come to picnic cafe!!

flavor pairings for the win- smoked gouda and red pepper scone, mango lime coconut scones, mango coconut scones, iced vietnamese coffee, matcha-gato, mint tea with oat milk and chamomile syrup, orange blossom honey latte, sweet potato chai latte with salted cream, iced vietnamese coffee, loganberry hand pies mmm

I love this place! The vietnamese coffee is to die for!! i love it so much especially with the pandan cream! I feel we need more pandan and vietnamese coffee in utah! The vibes are so cute and they have the best blueberry muffin. The baristas are always so friendly and I just think this place is perfect to study or to chat with some friends/family. Parking can be hard as it's on the street but it's worth it for this place.

My favorite neighborhood coffee shop. The coffee is great and they have a wonderful patio to sit out on in the spring and summer

I wandered in for a quick coffee but I couldn't resist having a scone and sitting on their outside patio for a minute. The coffee options were unique and everything sounded so good, i ended up going for an orange creamsicle latte, it was delicious and i was pleasantly surprised by the cost. They don't charge extra for milk substitutions and that's such a breath of fresh air. The chai apple pie scone was so good that my friend and I couldn't split just one we had to grab a second one. On top of that everyone working was friendly and helpful, this is definitely going to become a new go to coffee spot.

Great spot! Good coffee, great natural light, good tables for working or socializing, and proprietors of one of the best bagels I've ever had in SLC!

The coffee itself comes from specialty beans being brewed by super talented baristas. Pricing on this shop is fairly normal, considering it is a highend shop. I love stopping by because their baked goods are made by Mims bakery and Tomodachi, which are both fantastic. These aren't just frozen baked goods defrosted for a quick snack, but actually worth visiting for by themselves. A perfect compliment to a great cup of coffee. The shop itself has a ton of seats, but they are quite frequently occupied. Expect a busy shop, and if the weather is great, the patio will also be full. The decor of the shop is a little more modern and "clean" with simple design. Plenty of great light, open seating, and a good cup of coffee, are a recipe for a great day.

It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere. I ordered the salmon en croûte, while my companion had the grilled salmon. They seemed to enjoy theirs, and I absolutely loved mine. The puff pastry was light and not overly heavy, and the sauce was well balanced--not too rich, but still flavorful and complementary to the salmon. The wild rice on the side was good, though I did not finish it. We also ordered the falafel as a side, which was interesting. It was not quite what I expected (possibly not chickpea-based) but still enjoyable, just not something I would necessarily order again. Overall, a wonderful first experience. I would definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Well, I must have loved it since I went twice!! First day tried the BLT as well as a chocolate croissant which is to seriously die for, it is a must. Kiaya (lord I hope that is right) was my server and she was excellent. I had a Pellegrino Blood Orange soda along with my lunch and loved the salad dressing as well! The sandwich was with 1/2 salad and 1/2 potatoes, yum yum. The second time, I had Connor (he will remember Sheldon) who served me. He was awesome. I tried out a blueberry mimosa, an iced mocha and a water (I had been walking a lot and was tired and thirsty, don't judge). Then I just wanted that dang BLT again! I also ordered another almond chocolate croissant (I know, I know, should have tried something else). Well I did get a cookie too! My lunch was taking a little long, so they also brought out a couple of pastry items to try as well, so yum yum! The Chocolate Macaroon was also so wonderful and I cannot say enough about this quaint spot. It did fill up during lunch on the Thursday, so get there early or late! Endless refill on coffee that was unexpectedly excellent quality. No need to rely heavily on creamer to mask that burned taste from a communal, industrial pot. We upgraded our pancakes to have bananas, caramel, and whipped cream, and they generously portioned said toppings on *both of our plates*. And holy god was that whipped cream delicious. I only wish their space was bigger and tables were less cramped, what with the plates, coffee cups, and sauces.
