This review is for Baseball Gloves Repairs in Torrance, I talked to Kevin Tyler (owner) I asked him if he can helped me out to revive my son's old Wilson A2K baseball glove's, this gloves was given to my son by my coworker/friend, he used this gloves when he was 7 up to 15 years old. Kevin explained the process which is cleaning inside and out, conditioning, and relace, he is very patient to answer all my questions, he even told me if I needed to adjust the wrist in future just bring it back and he will take care of it. Took by daughter's glove in for relacing at the repair shop inside Torrance batting cages. The staff were friendly & accommodating and did a nice job on the glove. They also offer conditioning but we didn't need it this time. They have a variety of lace colors - she went for the basic black. We also get her bats regripped here when we use the cages. Even when busy they have been able to do it on the spot. Great place! read more

This place went way beyond my expectations. They asked me questions regarding my mitt to determine whether it was worth repairing or getting a new one and when do I need it back .They gave me options such as color choice of leather and whether to just repair only broken areas or restring whole mitt. I had been playing with a well-used glove for the last couple years, and over that time I've attempted to keep it together with makeshift stopgap repairs and amateur re-lacing jobs, as needed. I saw an ad for this place on social media and inquired, not thinking too much about the response I'd get or for what steep price it would inevitably be. But when I almost instantaneously heard back from Kaleb and Kevin via e-mail regarding a quote, requesting pictures, and checking out their website some more, I thought I'd give it a shot. (BONUS: These guys were on-top of communicating with me via e-mail throughout the entire process. Very professional!) I live in Phoenix, AZ so I had to ship it in good faith to Torrance. I wanted a total re-lace, re-padding, dye and condition of the glove and WOW. These guys rule! They know exactly what they are doing and revamped my leather pancake into a tuned-up BEAUTY! My sons first base glove had torn strings in the pocket. I found BGR online and found some articles how this is the place to go to get ur Glove fixed. Figured it would be a couple weeks to get it back. I called and talked to Kevin. He said he could fix the glove and recondition it for about $50 and have it done the same day. I bought a new baseball glove custom and had Dicks Sporting Goods steam and mallet it. Later to find out they made the glove worse with a crease. I searched Yelp or baseball glove repair. First came up was Torrance Batting Cages. I took the glove their today. They took it apart and added padding in the palm. Wow it fixed the crease as well my son has padding to protect his hand. Contacted Kaleb with some photos of my glove. I have had this glove for over 35 years and it was rough. He told me no problem bring it in and he would take care of it. The shop is at a large park in Torrance. Took the kids and we walked around the park and then got some loaner helmets and bats and took full advantage of the batting cages while we waited. In about 3 hours Kaleb completely transformed my old glove. He dyed the leather back to the original black and replaced the dried out and failing leather stitching with new red stitching. Glove looks and feels great. I will surely pass along his info to anyone looking to get their glove repaired or just have the stitching changed to a new color.
