Quant little place, full of charm. Enjoyed the beer and met some fun people to have good conversations. Give it try if you're in the area

Great place to watch sunset after a day of hiking! They have several great beer, ciders and wine. They have a food truck. Nice large outdoor patio with games!

Love this place! We go every time we are in Sedona. Great casual atmosphere. They always have a vegan and gluten free food option as well as cider being gluten free. Staff is always super friendly. Dogs are welcome! The only bummer is the people who decide to bring their children to a brewery - otherwise amazing place!

Ambiance is really nice. We hiked and wanted a drink. We were thinking beer, but surprisingly had a hard cider and a sour! There was heaters outside and plenty of space to sit and relax. Would recommend

Steak Sandwich ($18) - okay. I recommend the beer, not the food.

Coming down from the Devil's Bridge Trail the shuttle passed by Basecamp Sedona Beer and I knew, immediately, where I'd be spending the next 90 minutes. As soon as I exited the shuttle I headed to Basecamp. It was a beautiful day, both warm and cool due to recent snowfall and everyone was sitting outside at the assembled picnic-like tables. All food and drinks are ordered inside. Food is prepared by the food truck outside and you'll know your order is ready when you receive a text message which tells you so. If you'e coming for beer only, Basecamp is a solid 4-stars. Good beer ("Where's the Vortex" DIPA Draft ($9.50), nice setting (if you face the red rocks). But order the food and, well, just don't order the food. A Falafel Platter ($16) sounded good and tasted terrible; 99% of it wound up in the garbage. A Steak Sandwich ($18) was better, though far short of good. I felt like Basecamp was worsening their brand and ruining the experience by featuring food that I found so unpalatable. So stick to the beer and save your hunger for later. I'd think almost anyplace would be an improvement on the food truck fare I experienced here.

I have one rule when I'm traveling and that's to try a brewery. Post hiking Devil's Bridge, I came here for some refreshments. My friend and I were the first ones in right at 12pm because it was hot outside and we craved a cold beer. Mike, our beertender, was super awesome! Very knowledgable about the beers to help us make our choices for a flight. Gave us a lot of hiking trails to do in the future. They have an outdoor patio which looks to be super cool to relax in when it's colder or closer to sunset time. Looking forward to coming back sometime in the future to try more beers and hiking in Sedona again!

Such a cute vibe! Stopped here after the hike and enjoyed the beer selection. The view is unmatched and the food truck had a great selection! We tried the jalapeño popper potato skins and seasoned popcorn. Bar tenders were very friendly. Patio is kid and pup friendly. Loved that there were a few games inside to choose from.

As a Sedona local and a true lover of craft beer, I can't recommend Basecamp Sedona Beer enough! This place perfectly captures the spirit of Sedona with its laid-back atmosphere, friendly staff, and, most importantly, top-notch locally brewed beers. Every pour is crafted with care, and you can truly taste the quality and passion in each sip. Whether you're into crisp lagers, hoppy IPAs, or rich stouts, there's something here for every beer enthusiast. But what makes it even better is the fantastic food menu! Their dishes pair perfectly with the brews, offering everything from delicious shareable bites to hearty meals. The outdoor seating is a bonus, offering stunning views that make for the perfect setting to enjoy a cold one and a great meal. If you're in Sedona--whether you're a visitor or a fellow local--Basecamp Sedona Beer is a must-visit. Support local, drink great beer, eat amazing food, and enjoy the vibes. Cheers!

Great vibe after a long day of hiking. Prices were reasonable, staff was friendly and sandwich hit the spot.

Ok so I was so excited to go here. There is something really comforting about a tamale done right!…read moreThe glowing reviews and pictures seemed promising. The restaurant itself has a lot of character, it full of textures and colors, had a cute little fountain outside. It just feels homey and welcoming. The menu...is hella pricey for a tamale. I mean even with inflation these days I could get a tamale at most spots where I live for like half the price. I just told myself it's Sedona just except it lol so I went wild and got their extra special tamale with lots of topping to make it a more complete meal. I chose the chicken mole for my filling. I also got their dairy free horchata. First thing the horchata was delicious! Creamy, great texture, not to sweet, seasoned just right. Extra points for being dairy free as milk is not my bodies friend. The tamale however was a major let down. I was so close to just sending it back, but was on a time crunch and starving. The masa was so salty. The mole sauce was barely existent and had no complexity or flavor really. I didn't taste the chocolate or the Chile . Just blah. The toppings and horchata helped make it possible to consume despite the saltiness. So overpriced salty tamale gets 2 stars, ambiance 5, and horchata 5, which is why this place gets a three stars overall. I wanted to love this spot so bad, and maybe it was a bad day, or the wrong thing to get...but their name is literally tamaliza. Their tamale should have rocked my world.
