I enjoy coming here to Secret Garden Café. It is located at Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village in Sedona. Tlaquepaque is one of my favorite areas that I like to visit whenever I am in Sedona. Secret Garden Café is a longtime Sedona restaurant that in comfort foods like soups, gourmet salads and sandwiches. They also have a fun bar that serves a variety of alcoholic drinks, coffee drinks and teas. My favorite thing about Secret Garden Café is their cozy shaded patio area. It is the perfect place to enjoy a light meal with a glass of wine or a coffee drink. I like to come here and grab a latte and stroll through the art galleries at. Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village. It makes for a nice relaxing day. Secret Garden is open daily from 8am to 8:30pm. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. read more

This is my favorite lunch and dinner spot! Secret Garden Cafe in Sedona has the most delicious food and drinks!! I typically order the veggie burger and it is seriously so good, super fresh and flavorful. The patio is what really makes this place though... it's tucked into this lush, peaceful garden setting that feels like a little escape. It's right in Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village, which makes the whole experience even better. The service here is also on point all the time. I've never had a bad experience. After you eat, you can wander around the cobblestone paths, check out the little shops, and just soak it all in. Such a perfect Sedona spot for a relaxed afternoon. read more

We came here after a hike to grab some lunch. It's a cute spot with a nice outdoor area. The service was a bit slow and just not so attentive. Three of us were seated at the table and they only brought 2 waters. I asked for another and it took awhile to get there. In addition, the cups are small and we didn't get offered any refill for quite awhile. Our server was more interested in holding multiple long conversations with the locals at the table next to us. The plus side is that they have a lot of gluten free options available. They have gluten free bread and buns even though it's not labeled on the menu. I ordered a burger and it was tasty and filling- I couldn't even finish it. It was pricey for what we got, but then again I noticed that as an underlying theme in all of Sedona these days. I do like the outdoor area and the amount of gluten free options available, so this would be on my list to return. Hopefully next time we get a little better service. read more

Sedona is a resort town, so breakfast spots are popping on the weekend. This is especially true with the more quaint, mom and pop owned spots. I ordered the Garden's Breakfast ($17). You get 2 eggs any style (scrambled for me), two pieces of peppered bacon, multigrain toast + potatoes. My breakfast was simple, filling, and just the way I like it. The multigrain toast was surprisingly not multigrain-y. Instead, it was doughy soft. And the bacon was bacon-ing. Each component of my breakfast was perfectly executed. Ngl. You're gonna have to probably wait. We came before 10:00AM and had to wait 30 minutes-ish (?). Anyway, service was perfect and the outdoor seating is nice. read more

My wife said, I feel like anything we get here is going to be good. It just has one of those vibes. And she was right! I ordered the huevos rancheros which were very good. She ordered Chef Scramble with cream cheese on the side. Both were excellent! We sat at the bar and our server was perfect. We stayed overnight in Sedona, and stayed walking distance to Tlaquepaque. It's this quaint village, in a town full of them! We were about to get on the road, and Secret Garden beckoned us to come in! I had a memorable and delicious breakfast. I had a basic egg and bacon breakfast. The bread was even fantastic! My husband had the burrito. It came with guacamole, and i think it's a local ordinance that guacamole has to be done right in Sedona. We had a lovely time, and it was our anniversary when we went so it started us on the right foot! If we visit Sedona again, we'll definitely be back. read more

I went twice to Secret Garden Cafe. I loved the humming bird feeders that brought the birds to the patio. The food (Especially the quiche and French Toast) was delicious and so was the coffee. My husband and I are vegan so finding vegan restaurants that have more than basic stuff when we travel is always a challenge. The burrito was amazing. The vegan cheese they use is so reminiscent of real cheese (plantation brand) - delicious and stretchy making the texture great. True comfort food. The tofu scramble is also very good but my husband and I both preferred the cheesy burrito. The outdoor patio is very sweet and cozy and the service is perfection as well. While on a trip with my girlfriend, visiting in Sedona, we stopped by this café for some lunch. It was in a great location, as there were many shops all around to walk through either before or after you eat. We got a table outside, as the weather was nice. We ordered the Fajita Marinated Steak Sandwich and Chicken Poblano Club, to split and try both of these sandwiches. They both came with a side of chips. The sandwiches were excellent. Very flavorful and tasty. I especially enjoyed the steak one. That was my favorite and I highly recommend this one for everyone to try. But, you cant go wrong with the grilled chicken either. I went to this place twice during my one week vacation to give you an idea of how much I loved it! My first server I think was named Jenna, she was really straightforward, had great recommendations, and I tried the mimosa flight and chicken salad croissant sandwich! What was unique to me about the mimosa flight is that many of them were muddled and made with organic juices, the blackberry was especially delicious. The garden itself is in incredibly well and has lots of hummingbirds and 100+ year old blue spruce tree. On my second visit, my server, Tanya told me about this Tree when she invited me to sit at a table that is on a Ley line. Mind you, I was already seated and she asked me if I would prefer to sit there and frankly- yes, I would! This is the type of thing I did come to Sedona for, and it didn't feel kitschy or fake. Tanya told me a lot of really interesting things about Sedona, and what I loved (especially as a solo diner) is that I had to ask questions. It wasn't like she was hanging around my table to tell me stuff. One thing I know is that the garden is decorated largely by her green thumb, and it really pays off. Thanks to her recommendations, the rest of my trip was incredible. I ordered the open face veggie omelette, and I cannot speak highly enough about this dish. It's flavorful fresh seasonal produce, and so perfectly seasoned that I didn't even have to use salt. I also tried the seven sacred pools martini with local chakra vodka, which was fresh and delicious as well. Five stars for this place! Not only was my visit independently so beautiful and nourishing, but the tips that I received at this restaurant, set up the rest of my trip for success. Visited back in January during a quick trip to Sedona. I got the Portabella Mushroom sandwich with a side salad and the prickly pear lemonade. The sandwich was very good and I enjoyed the lemonade! Kind of on the pricier side for what it is (my total was $30 before tip) but it was good so I can't complain too much. Service was good and I was seated quickly. There is a nice outdoor seating area which is covered. It wasn't too warm or too cold so that was nice. We ate at the secret garden cafe and we had a really great experience for the very beginning to end. The host was very friendly and our server Justin was beyond his duty to make our experience the best. He was so sweet with our dog and our kids and all the food requests we did. Thanks Justin!! Also the food was amazingly good, highly recommend the corn chowder soup, and all the sandwiches, food and drinks came with exceptional presentation flavors and temperature. My husband and me being chefs we notice everything when we go out for dinner (maybe is a curse to be picky lol) but everything was perfect to our standards. Parking seems overwhelming at the entrance but there's plenty of lots if you continue driving around the complex. Cute little cafe. Outdoor patio is great, inside seating is limited. There are blankets draped behind the chairs at the tables in case you get cold which is a nice added touch. Service is great and staff was friendly. Food is pretty good. Tried the huevos rancheros, croissant sandwich and mandarin chicken salad. While each of these items were good, the potatoes on the side dishes were absolutely standouts. Wow wow wow wow wooooow!!! Ok, landed at this gem after our longer hike morning and, even though it was an entire WEEK ago, I'm not over it. There was a 25 min wait for a patio table when we arrived so we sat at the bar for a coffee and some convo with the bartenders. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating! Table was ready after a few cups of much needed caffeine, and we got the perfect spot in the shade. We were pretty ravenous by the time we arrived and everything on the menu sounded amazing. While we were at the bar waiting, we noticed several people ordering the chunky chicken salad and we were intrigued. Since it was basically brunch time, we opted for the veggie omelet with bacon on the side and an order of the chunky chicken salad croissant sandwich with Gorgonzola coleslaw as the side. Ok-omelet was good but the star of the show was definitely the chicken salad sandwich. It was creamy, salty, sweet, and the toasted croissant could not have been a more perfect vessel. I've never had such delicious chicken salad and didn't want the eating of the sandwich to be over. We loved it so much, in fact, that we tried to go back for the sandwich the next morning but it's not served until 11:00am. We did also try their Bloody Mary and need to warn you that the "tajin" rim is made in house and VERY spicy. We like spice, but it was too spicy for us so be warned. Secret Garden Cafe will be our regular stop on long hike days in Sedona...can't wait for next year!! read more

The Secret Garden Cafe appealed to our group due to its healthy menu & good reviews. Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff & allowed to choose our seat. Our waiter was extremely friendly & polite. Our food came out relatively quickly, and the portions were good for the price. I ordered the Poblano Chicken Sandwich and got a side of corn chowder (per our waiter's suggestion) Everything tasted so fresh, and the bacon had very good flavor (restaurant bacon typically comes out pretty bland in my experience). My only complaint is that the chicken breast on my sandwich was pretty dry My husband got the tri-tip sandwich, which looked delicious. He liked it. I tried a bite & it was not as good as it looked. The meat was cooked well, it was moist, but I was not a fan of the sauce or marinade that was used for the meat. Personally, it tasted like marinara sauce to me. I would not order that sandwich on my own. My Mom got the same thing as my husband, and she enjoyed it. My Dad ordered the Build your own burger & added onions & mushrooms as his 2 toppings. He seemed happy with his choice. All in all, this place was the perfect choice for our dinner.
