I have been searching for years to find a dentist that meets all of my requirements. Dr. Buck has exceeded all of my expectations and more. My first visit was beyond informative, dr. Buck took his time going over the treatment and went over all the options with me to find the best option according to my needs. Teresa and Maria helped me the first time, they made me feel so comfortable that I forgot I was in a dental office. Today was my second visit and Nadeline was my dental assistant, she was so kind and caring towards me. I love this office! Dr. Hernandez is so gentle and patient. Anytime i have gone in for fillings he numbs throughly and quickly with never any pain and dose everything in a timely manner. The front of the office girls are always so sweet on the phone and in person and really make you feel like your talking to a good friend. And I couldn't remember her name from today but the blonde assistant and the younger male assistant are always so gentle when taking X-rays and assisting the dr. And shoutout to my hygienist Heidi who I didn't see today but I swear has the most gentle touch when cleaning my teeth! I got on Yelp to help find a sedation dentist for my sister and came across Baseline Dental. I'm going to speak up now like I should have a few years ago. Admittedly, my teeth were not in great shape but is that any reason to treat a patient like I don't remember his name, but he's the tall blonde guy. He had the WORST attitude to be in a profession that takes some of us lots of courage to step through the door. I felt shameful when I walked out. Shame on you as a co owner of a business! Wow! Who would have ever thought you could leave the dentist's office with such positive feelings?? I could not be more pleased with the care my son received at Baseline Dental. From the minute we walked in the door, the friendly hellos from multiple staff members assured me we were in the right place, but the care from the dental assistants and dentist sealed the deal. The staff is always friendly and welcoming - I was even informed 40 minutes before my appointment that they were a little bit behind, and I that should come 10 minutes later than the original appointment time. They do a great job communicating; they call to confirm appointments, they remind if one hasn't made and it's overdue, etc. The work done is always quick, efficient and an all-around pleasant experience. Parking is always available and close to the door. The waiting room is never full. Open on Saturdays?! I had gotten a letter in the mail for an appointment I had missed stating that I owed 75$ for the missed appointment. I didn't know bout this fee so I called and explained that I had no idea. The woman on the phone stated I was given a warning and that this fee is shown on the paper you sign once you walk into the dentist. I have been doing everything over the phone and was not given a warning. She says that back in 2009 I was given a warning for an appointment that I missed so that was my warning. I COULDN'T EVEN DRIVE IN 2009 I was 13 years old! She said that I stilled had to pay or I couldn't make an appointment. Then I stated I wasn't going to pay and she basically said ok bye and hung up. Super rude when I was being nice and explaining that nobody ever gave me a warning or told me about the fee. So now they lost a 15+ year customer. I missed one appointment EVER when I was 13 years old & I couldn't drive myself to my appointments that was over 10 years ago. So don't say I've missed multiple appointments when I've only missed one in over 13 years. read more

I came in to see Dr. Buck for a tooth infection & extraction. Himself, as well as his staff are incredibly professional and polite. Dr. Buck eventually referred me to an oral surgeon to complete my treatment and even the surgeon he referred me to was a God-send. I have visited Baseline Dental Practice three times and purposely waited to provide a rating until my third visit. My only experience with Baseline Dental is having my teeth cleaned but the hygienist, Simone is excellent and takes the time to clean my teeth thoroughly. The office staff is very friendly, professional and easy to work with. The fees are competative but fair. I do plan on having a filling repaired and will provide an update later. I've had miserable experiences with several dentists over the years. I've twice before had unsuccessful extractions and the doctors quit mid procedure due to the difficulty. This left me with a painful situation and a lot of trauma. I explained this to Dr.Buck and he has been so patient and understanding with me. I had to have another tooth removed, in preparation for Invisalign. Something 5 doctors all refused to give me as an option because I'm a challenging case. The extraction was much more difficult and time consuming than I think Dr. Buck anticipated. He made sure I was completely numbed properly, and took the time to do it right. When it became clear it wasn't going to be an easy procedure, he stuck it out, all the way through and did not give up on me. I am truly grateful for that and the doctors here who have given me a chance! read more

Frankly I'm bummed that Yelp doesn't give 10 stars because that's what I'd be giving Dr. Buck! He's fantastic! He and his staff are so friendly and supportive. So here's the scoop. I haven't gone to the dentist in a while... AKA 8 years. I know, I'm terrible, don't judge. My last dentist was a little rough and left a bad taste in my mouth...literally. But after 8 years, I knew the time had come for me to be a man and face my fears. So I called Baseline Dental and made an appointment. Dr. Buck was so kind and soothed my troubled heart. After inspecting the war zone in my mouth, he discussed a plan of how to tackle these problems...together. The strategy involved me setting multiple appointments and then... showing up. Then, with his radiant personality, his extraordinary skill set, and the use of the brilliant laughing gas, we went to work. Everything went so smoothly. It was excellent. I feel like I should be the poster boy for Dr. Buck because I gave him so many wonderful problems to solve. Almost as if my mouth was created to fulfill his destiny. Anyway, after multiple cavities filled, root canals, extractions, and gum cleanings, I've learned two very important lessons.... 1. Dr. Buck is the Man. Don't fear the Man. I was unhappy with my previous dentist, so I came to baseline dental to get a second opinion on some work I needed done (dental implant). All of the staff up front were warm and welcoming. The dentist was on time with my scheduled appt which is always a plus. When I got to the back, Dr. Buck clearly explained everything that was going on in a simple, easy to understand way. He was friendly, thorough and let me know all of my options. Not only that, he let me know what to expect during and after the visits to eliminate any fears or hesitations I had. Their quote came in at almost $1000 less than my previous dentist as well! I'm glad I picked Dr Buck and Baseline dental for this dental implant I need done. My whole life I have been scared of the dentist, as many people are; but, my prior experiences have been more than just unpleasant. I've dealt with many dentists who have taken the more expensive route to a solution, or even straight out lied to me and recommended procedures that were unnecessary. Needless to say, I don't trust dentists. Until now. Dr. Hernandez treated my mom after she received a crown and her dentist was not available. They are open Saturdays, which is amazing, and with little wait and little paperwork, my mom was in the chair and on her way to relief. She was treated with respect and the utmost care. Thankfully, the pain she was experiencing was cured with a little drilling on the crown, and she was on her way. No gimmicks, no smoke and mirrors, it was a simple procedure and it was handled with grace and in a timely manner. Since that day I have been a patient of Baseline Dental, I have dealt with both Dr. Buck and Dr. Hernandez, they are both amazing. The staff is friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. Baseline Dental has integrity and most importantly, they care about ME. I would highly recommend. Tip for parents: for your kids (or yourself) they also have a pokestop at the practice! :) read more

You don't have be a Stanford graduate with the highest of highest honors in statistics (nor have obtained a measly GED from a local continuation school for that matter) to know that 1 bad review out of 60 awarded to Baseline Dental Practice is an excellent tally to keep on a business review site like Yelp. Congratulations, BDP. Excellent job on that. If I said that I only read 1 out of your 60 reviews, which one would you guess? If you guessed the bad review (which I'm sure you did), you'd be correct. Again, excellent job BDP. Wow, you're on a roll. However, your excellence ends here. Being on the receiving end of inadequate service presented by a business that gloats over 59 excellent reviews out of 60, the questions and doubts surface as to why one would be the exception. You, the reader, might even think that the problem derives from me, the victim, and not from BDP, the doer of mischief. Considering the odds and the stats, that accusation would indeed be a logical, fair and understandable one. But please award me the audience to make my plea and tell you my woes so that you can be the judge. Hit it, Mr. Violinist. Mom needed dental care so I called to get rates for an exam with X-rays and the lady on the phone quoted me $65 for both. The lady on the phone (shame on me for not getting a name) also promised that if mom decided to have BDP do any dental work, the $65 would go towards the price of work performed. That sounded fair, considering the fact that this was not going through any insurance plan. The only dental insurance plan she has is the limited cash amount in her purse. We scheduled an appointment and planned around the information given. Turned out that mom needed some work done, which was going to cost her $X.xx. She had it done. Once the work was complete, the BDP receptionist did not hesitate to charge mom the X-amount, in addition to the $40 for the X-rays, which was, in fact, a contorted version of the information we got from the lady on the phone. This version actually worked against mom's limited cash amount in her purse, which in turn, benefited BDP's accounting reports at closing time that day. We pleasantly asked the receptionist about the the differences between the new price and the one quoted over the phone, to which she replied with a "that is not true" and a "who did you talk to". After several attempts to get her to honor the quoted rates, we gave up. The insinuations of being labeled as fabricators of tales and weavers of fables was enough for us to back off. $40 was not worth the insult. We walked out with the intention to never return...physically. However, I vowed to return virtually. And here I am, your friendly neighborhood "yelper"--commending the righteous and chastising the misbehaved. In this case, a business that refuses to honor quoted rates (that it doesn't keep track of) and/or chooses to change them dependent on the method of payment, then turn around and accuse the client of falsifying, is definitely labeled as misbehaving in my books, therefore, most deserving of chastising for its naughtiness. That, my friends, is the "old bate and switch", a practice notoriously known in the used car industry but not (prior to this point) within the tooth industry. Dr Hernandez is our family dentist. Even our seven-year-old looks forward to his check ups. I'm so glad we switched from Cunning Dental to Baseline Dentists! We applaud the entire staff for their outstanding care of their patients. I'm SO happy I came to Baseline Dental Practice. Dr. Buck is a phenomenal individual, and the staff are amazing. Dr. Buck is super cool, compassionate, down-to-earth, genuine, and a great listener! He explains everything thoroughly, and answers all my questions and concerns. I feel safe in his hands! I recently got my wisdom teeth pulled, and Dr. Buck was super gentle, and I appreciated that SO much. I had a bad experience in the past with another dentist who removed my bottom wisdom tooth, so it took me a while to feel ready to get my top wisdom teeth removed. I was a little nervous, but the whole process was SO smooth, and recovery has been a-ok! Office is clean and peaceful! Did I mention the staff are amazing?
