Atmosphere: This is a frequent haunt for take -out and dine-in for us. I typically get the same thing every time and so does my partner. The inside is clean, have never had a rude server one time in the half a dozen times we have been here. But I will say to be careful with pick-up orders, Out of 4 times we have ordered for pick-up, 2 times it was messed up. One time in which my sauces were missing and the other time, we were given just the completely wrong order. The restaurant is very clean, the bathroom especially is immaculate and it always smells good in the restaurant! Food: Like I said, we are both creatures of habit. I always get the chicken satay appetizer which is more than enough for one person. There are 4 chicken skewers that come in the order and usually I will have 2 and then I will save 2 for later or to have for lunch at work the next day. It comes with peanut sauce (the best I ever had) and their Thai vinaigrette. It is perfect dipped in their peanut sauce and then Thai vinaigrette. Delicious. My partner always get the crispy pineapple chicken. She absolutely loves it and always has leftovers. She always orders an egg roll with it which she also loves. We will be loyal returning customers!

One word. Delicious! My husband and I went here with some friends while in town. It was in the middle of the day on a Monday and still had a fun and lively vibe. There were so many good options on the menu, we had a hard time deciding what to order. We really wanted to try a little of several items. We started with the Tempura Asparagus, the Minced Chicken Salad, and the Thai Salad. All were excellent. They had a great presentation of the asparagus. The Thai dressing is definitely what made the Thai Salad so good. We then split the Pad Thai and Spicy Peanut Curry. Both were great. I ordered a seasonal Apple Caramel Mule. It was pretty good. The ginger beer was the flavor that stood out most to me. Delaney was our server and was wonderful. She checked on us several times and let us sit at our table for a long time until everyone in our party joined us.

I ordered takeout from Basil Asian Bistro and was extremely disappointed. I ordered the Panang Curry with shrimp, which already comes with an upcharge for the shrimp, and what I received was essentially half a container of sauce with a few pieces of basil and a handful of shrimp. There were no vegetables, no peppers, nothing that you would normally expect in a curry dish. To make matters worse, the container wasn't even close to full--less than half for a dish that costs about $15 plus the shrimp upgrade. It honestly felt like I was paying full price for leftovers. I rarely write reviews, but this was so disappointing that it felt necessary. This level of quality and portioning is unacceptable and unfortunately cost this restaurant what would have been a repeat customer. Very shameful.

This was a decent Thai food place! I really liked the interactive skewers. The wonton soup wasn't good at all and not flavorful. The pad see ew was okay. I liked the pad thai, it was pretty good! Service was good. Parking in the back is free!

Came in on a hoppin Saturday night 10 days before Christmas and the place was packed! If you come on the weekend reservations are probably a good idea. Parking will be hit/miss, you might get somewhere close. You might park 4 blocks away like I had to. The inside has a nice vibe as it's situated in an older building with lots of brick. The place is loud if it's busy so be prepared for that. The food is all really good, from the pho to the rangoons and egg rolls to all the sushi. My only chief complaint and I'm offering grace here because I know it was busy, is that it took a solid 25-30 minutes to get the appetizers after we got our drinks. Otherwise the service was good as well as the food. Check it out!

Our first time and most definitely not our last. We are definitely adding Basil into our dining our rotation. The service was prompt and the food was fantastic! So many options, definitely something for everyone. The restaurant was packed so definitely make reservations if you're planning a night out on the weekend. We had a window seat and absolutely loved the view. We cannot wait to go back!

Sakura Japanese Steak House occupies a structure it shares with a Subway. I arrived, I confess, in a state of profound skepticism. How could anything approaching excellence exist in such a juxtaposition? I was wrong. Gravely, gloriously wrong. The moment one crosses the threshold, the air itself changes. An aroma of such quiet authority rises that one feels, not merely welcomed, but embraced--as though the spirit of Japan herself had stepped forward to receive you. The rising sun does not merely warm the room; it seems to take up residence in the chest. Then came the filet. With the first bite I was transported beyond the present hour. I felt, with a certainty I cannot rationally defend, the gaze of Japan's first emperor upon that grill, conferring his blessing upon the hands that prepared the meal. In that instant I understood I had encountered not a restaurant, but the platonic ideal of one--the finest establishment it has been my privilege to know. I have since relocated to the Tampa Bay area. I have sought this taste in rooms far more expensive, far more fashionable, and far more self-consciously "authentic." None have come close. The memory of Sakura remains the standard against which every subsequent meal is measured, and every subsequent meal is found wanting. If the owner of this house should happen to read these words: I implore you to consider a franchise in Clearwater, Florida. Were I tomorrow appointed chief executive of a company, I would resign the title without hesitation and accept a position at the grill of a Sakura Clearwater, should such a temple ever be raised. Whatever it takes. Until then, Sakura. Until then.

Started with the Black Pepper Tuna pictured. Beautifully presented, perfectly rare in the center, and fresh tasting. The green salad was solid but a touch heavy on the dressing. For rolls, we tried the Ocean Roll and the Kamikaze. Both were very good, but the Kamikaze was the clear standout. Fresh, well executed sushi and a pleasant lunch spot overall. Recommended.

And then we both ordered a hibachi dinner. So filling, and we had enough for leftovers. It wasn't super busy so we were able to get right in! We really had a good time. As soon as we were seated i noticed old rotten food between where the grill is supposed to be attached to the table but has come apart. I'm seated with a very clear view of this . Mind you .. this was 4oclock .. those noodles had been sitting there for days if not longer . Completely ruined my appetite between that and the entrance way . (Pictures attached ) . Then the sushi comes they put sushi for 3 people on one plate .. no side plates nothing ..the salad was full of water on the bottom . That is caused from sitting over night btw . The bathroom smells ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!! Like straight sewage !! And was filthy . The smell is unbearable honestly. The entire place was just filthy . I'm glad it was dark because I seen enough. just makes you wonder what the kitchen looks like . If you're going to charge $140 for 2 adults and a child plus tip u can afford to properly clean and fix all that is wrong with your building .
