Our dinners were all delicious not one complaint. I had the Veal Saltimbucco which I've never had before and it was delicious. Around the table was Chicken Saltimbucco with linguine (Al dente) with garlic & oil, the Pork Chop special was a huge portion, Cheese Ravioli with shrimp & spinach in a vodka cream sauce, Linguine Vongole in white sauce overflowing with clams was polished off, and the Linguine Frutti Di Mare Fra Diablo was a creation!! Everything was plated exceptionally please look at my pictures to see!! We also had two Tarfufo's and a cappuccino!! The atmosphere was amazing with a live singer at the "Shoe Shine" Bar that you could hear well into the restaurant. I've heard many great things about this restaurant and am so happy I finally was able to visit. The owner Sammy is on another level, one of the nicest most genuine owners I've ever met. My step mother loved the red sauce that came with the calamari and to her surprise he came as we were leaving and gave her a good size portion of the sauce to take home!! That's what I call hospitality!! We all left full and very happy. I think this may my new favorite place because when you tie everything in atmosphere and good food you really cannot go wrong!!

The bus staff was a little abrupt. They took plates and silverware without really checking as we were enjoying appetizers. It was a bit odd. The menu had a good selection of different meats and fish and pasta dishes. They also offered specials which several of our party tried. I had the 'Veal Romantico' which was veal cutlets layered with slices of eggplant, mozzarella and tomato. Penne pasta with peas was the side. And everything was dressed in a sherry brown sauce. Overall the presentation was very nice. The food was cooked well, but it lacked flavor and I felt needed more salt and pepper at the very least. Other colleagues had similar comments that overall the food was well prepared but lacked anything really memorable. The real shining star of the evening was the dessert! The carrot cake was absolutely delicious! I'd go back just for that! It was moist and flavorful, chock full of raisins, carrots and nuts. Topped with creamy, not too sweet, cream cheese icing and finished with toasted coconut. Absolutely delightful! For what it was we had a nice evening.

An update from a year ago…read more Dollar for dollar, this place is great. Came with a party of 7 last weekend. We opted for the outdoor dining. Everyone raved. Portions are huge, and the specials (we all had a various special) were delicious. The eggplant appetizer was also huge and lights out. The service is friendly and attentive. Outdoor ambiance isn't the best, but given the location right on a street, that's to be expected. Not one of us had a problem with it. They definitely should be on your places to check out.
