Solid pizza, but don't show up too, too early, like at opening, as it typically takes the restaurant about 1 hour for all of the typical pizzas (e.g. Margherita, White, Vodka, Grandma) to be done. On the 1st occasion that we came here, we dropped in at around 11:15am on a super cold, winter Sunday morning and had our pick of tables inside this surprisingly spacious pizzeria on Blvd in Hasbrouck Heights. The 2nd time we came here, it was really no different in spacing as there were some customers dining in, but still plenty of tables. When we arrived on our 1st visit, they were just churning out whole pies, but they were all of the gourmet type with chicken on them. All of the what I deem "regular" pizzas (e.g. Margherita, White, Vodka, Grandma) that you would typically find at a pizzeria were still in the process of being worked on. Because of the fact that we showed up so early, we either had to wait a bit to get a slice of what we usually ordered at pizzerias or we could go with the gourmet slices. Since we were absolutely starvvvvving and didn't want to wait another minute, we decided to order 1 of the gourmet slices with chicken, 1 Buffalo Chicken, 1 Pepperoni and 1 plain cheese. If we had our choice though, we probably would have ordered the Margherita and square Vodka because they looked DAMN GOOD, BUTTTT there's alwayssss next time. The slices we ordered were really good still - solid as in put together well and didn't have much flop. The plain cheese reminded me a lot of your everyday good ol' New York slice, not too thin, not too thick - and a crispy undercarriage. The Buffalo Chicken was also very, as I like to say a lot, "Buffalo-ish" where the Buffalo flavor really kicked in on each bite. My wife also ordered the Baby Arugula salad with grilled chicken. I had 1 piece of the grilled chicken, which was decent, but she loved the salad. It was a bit steep at $17 ($13 for the salad + $4 for the grilled chicken), but seemed like it was worth it in her opinion. We also ordered 1 rice ball, which was huge, but very good as well. All in all, Bella is a solid pizzeria in northern NJ. We loved that it was so spacious and had plenty of seats and tables when we arrived. The restaurant did start getting more and more customers as our meal wore on during our 1st visit, but there was still plenty of space. Definitely a solid pizzeria. Pizza won't blow you away, but you're bound to satisfy your pizza craving here. read more

Finally came back to try a pie and the pies are not as good as the individual slices. It seems that the pie crusts are thicker. We also tried some garlic knots and a vodka chicken parm. The garlic knots were a bit undercooked. The vodka parm was pretty good but $15 is kind of pricey for a pizzeria. I ordered food online for delivery. I received the order only a few minutes late. So that's not the problem. Problem is I ordered chicken wings. I received the container with solidified fat on the bottom. The celery was very old looking soft gooey and not straight. I ordered a white pizza. The crust was soft gooey and wet. All of the food was not even warm. It should have been hot. They sent it by slice. I've never used either one of these before. I recommend you keep away from it. The food was horrible. Sauce isn't over powering, crust was crispy, you can get blue cheese or ranch dressing on top and they nailed it right down to celery pieces on top. We also got a drunk grandma pie which was excellent. Sauce was extremely tasty and the crust was perfect. Hint of butter on that crust?? I believe so! Phenomenal. So yesterday, I seen Barstool Sports Dave Portnoy give this place a good review on FB and I was excited to try it. I then took my mother there on Sunday to try it out. The woman behind the counter with short dyed blonde hair was uninterested in taking our order. I politely asked for two slices while my mother looked over the different pies... She didn't even acknowledge my order or say hello but I assumed that she got it. She then disappears into the kitchen and begins messing about with other stuff for about six or so minutes while my mother is waiting to order and makes no motion to get my slices. I was kind of confused by how she was ignoring us. Perplexed with her total lack of acknowledgement. Another gentleman comes in and she curtly takes his order. My elderly mother (politely says "Mam I didn't order yet" and the woman rudely scowled, "Your Pizza is right here." To which my other replied, "I didn't even order yet....." We were right at the counter and she never made any inclination of us being there. Even when I ordered the slices earlier... Nothing. It was confusing. After she snapped at my 76 yr old mother..... I said, "Let go, I'm not eating here..." To which she replied loudly and rudely, "GOOOOOOOD BYE!" Very surreal experience... I never had the opportunity to try the pizza but it looked good. We drove a few blocks and found another place called Heights Pizza. Upon entering the two women behind the counter smiled and said, "Hello! Welcome to Heights Pizza...." What a difference. This pizza place is located right on the busy Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights. I noticed it when taking my usual walk through the area. Every time I walked by it seemed busy inside so I decided to give it a try. Most of the food I have tried from here has been really good and the service is usually great. The only negative thing I can say about the food is that one time I ordered a chicken cheesesteak. It was good, but I wouldn't really consider it a chicken cheesesteak. It seemed to be just chopped up grilled chicken breast. I have had a few other sandwiches and the pizza, and all have been good. My favorites are Al's wrap and the garlic bread with cheese. I decided to give this place a try on a Friday night to celebrate my brothers graduation and was not disappointed! We ordered a garlic knot crust pizza which was a amazing. It came with two sides of marinara sauce to dip your garlic knots in it (which is a total must!) additionally, we ordered a whole bunch of appetizers. The wings were big and worth the price. The tomato, fresh mozzarella, and basil platter was very fresh and tasted great! On another note their menu is extensive. It can be overwhelming because there is a lot to choose from but I like that. I'm still not sure how this massive Bella Pizza menu appeared on my desk at work but it was so colorful and expansive that it was only a matter of time that I finally buckled and ordered from here. Went with the usual items: pizza and garlic knots. And after recently learning that there's actually an active volcano called Mount Stromboli... a veggie Stromboli. From strongest to not-as-strong... Stromboli: between you and me - I can't recall the last time I ordered/ate one so I really don't have a frame of reference but... this thing was the size of my forearm and tasted great. Made two meals out of this monster that was under $10. Garlic knots: these little crunchy dough-bombs were well-executed and crammed with flavor. Totally one of my favorite takeout places right now! They are quick, delicious, and consistent. I am obsessed with the Baby Arugala salad, it is always light & fresh with the perfect amounts of blue cheese and candied walnuts. In addition, I love that they give the dressing on the side so the arugala doesn't get soggy or over-dressed. The poached pears are soo good, and I always add the grilled chicken. I can be picky about grilled chicken, but theirs is always thin, chopped, & perfectly grilled. The bruschetta appetizer is also wonderful, and great to share. The food is decent.. The service on the other hand is awful. And by looking at other reviews, this seems to be a reoccurring theme. The girl who originally answered the phone was no problem. Polite as she took my order. The manager when i called back on the other hand is RUDE..so I placed a $40 take out order to which i also tipped on top. When i got home i had realized there was a missing item. I then called the restaurant to tell them the item was missing and if it was now possible for them to deliver the missing item so i do not have to come back and let the rest of my food get cold. At first i was questioned. "Are you sure it's not there" ... no im blind and calling for my health smh. Then I was told by the manager that there was no delivery person and they couldn't bring me the item . Mind you i live legitimately 2 blocks away. I said fine just issue me a refund for the missing item. Also did not even receive an apology of any sort for not giving my full order. It was like i was hassling them because i wanted what i had ordered. God forbid i get what i paid for... After stewing on it for a couple minutes i called back to request that they refund my tip as well. I don't feel like i should tip on an order that was incorrect, (not trying to be cheap). At this point the manager tells me she cannot issue a refund on the tip and that i must come to the store to receive it. After putting me on hold for 5 minutes she comes back and tells me that the tip was refunded... great. Thanks. Now my food is cold. NEVER ordering from here again. I can understand forgetting an item, it happens, but for the manager to give me an attitude and a hard time for requesting my money back is another thing. Just rude in general. As soon as you walk into this family owned business, you see such a bright and welcoming atmosphere. It seems like a really nice spot to grab a slice and just hangout with friends or a little date night. You're greeted with such kindness by the owners. The wonderful aroma of pizzas is soooo amazing. I saw this place on Instagram and ended up liking probably 10 pictures before telling my family that we need to have a pizza party haha I ordered their amazing garlic knot crust on a half Philly cheesesteak and half pineapple pizza because that's just what my pregnancy cravings told me I needed! We also ordered a half white and half mushroom pie. The garlic knots were so delicious and perfectly chewy. The cheesesteak was probably my favorite slice! So delicious and flavorful. I recently stared ordering from Bella's again after going on a hiatus for a while due to my wife and I trying to eat more healthy. Bella's items have definitely gotten better from the last time I've had it. The quality has definitely improved and I am very happy with them again. Try their Bella's combination pie for a little bit of everything. I've also had their Buffalo Chicken pie and it's amazing. A little bit of a kick to it as it should be for a Buffalo sauce. I like that Bella's did a great job with this specialty pie. I'm also a fan of their Italian sub with extra oil and vinegar. I love how fresh this sub tastes!
