Worst customer service ever, I would give 0 stars! I purchased a hand packed quart and when I got home it didn't taste right. I have had this ice cream a million times before but something with this recipe was bad. I went in store and placed my order built rapport with the employee sharing that am hosting an outside party for my daughter 1st birthday. The employee said nothing about the cake being a ice cream cake collected the cake went home before I knew it the cake was flat i was so disappointed I called immediately asking for a next cake they told me it would take 4 days. I said ok I need a refund because in 4 days the cake would be of no purpose. The folks here are fairly friendly, although when they get busy less so. I have always loved all the variety of flavors with the ice cream here, so all good there. The employees are so nice here! When I arrived there were a couple of orders in front of me but I was helped quickly and given generous scoops. The employees complimented my ice cream combination and were polite and conversational. I spent about 15 minutes there and although the customers cleared out and I was the only customer, the employees kept busy by stocking ice creams and cleaning. We come here every couple of months for sundaes and usually they skimp on toppings and sauces but this visit from 1/10/25 was an awesome experience and totally unplanned. The last time we were here prior to this was 12/9/24 and my boyfriend lost his wallet around this time and we didn't even think to check here but on 1/10 Jaden had reached out to him on cash app since she saw his card with his user name on it and left a message saying Baskin Robbins has his wallet, he called the store to verify and we went in. I'm not sure who the other girl was working with Jaden that night but she was also so friendly. Both girls greeted us right away and said the wallet had been sitting in the break room for the past month and since we never came in for it she figured she'd reach out, we are so thankful for her going out of her way! We both ordered a 2 scoop sundae since we were already there, i got mint n chip and praline with peanut butter sauce, whipped cream, nuts, and a cherry. Peanut butter sauce on mint chip is life changing! I would've thought this was gross but years ago I got a sundae with mint chip on the bottom so I wouldn't get peanut butter on it but I got a bite with it and now that's my go to! The sundae had plenty of toppings, normally when I get this there is only a couple bites of peanut butter sauce so they hooked it up this time! One "complaint" that I have is the tipping on the credit card machine, i wanted to tip higher than it allowed, apparently the machine only allows a max tip of 50% of your bill total, which is get most people probably aren't even tipping 50% BUT I used a coupon on the app so I wanted to tip pre promo price and couldn't. I went here a couple of months agoand was so disappointed. I have a milk allergy (I go into anaphylaxis and have to carry an epi pen) so was very excited to try the new non dairy options! When I placed my order, the associate helping me took a scoop out of a tub of water and started scooping me up. I asked her if the scoop she had just used had come into contact with the regular ice cream. It had. She said she had rinsed it off in the tub of water and that it should be ok. The water looked milky so I let her know I couldn't eat it that I had a serious allergy and it was contaminated. She dropped the scoop of icecream back into the container and offered to get a clean scoop. I declined and explained she had cross contaminated the nondairy icecream and that could be fatal for me. She was visibility upset. I am not sure if it was at me or the situation. In the moment it felt like at me but in retrospect it could be due to poor training about allergens and being in that situation. I am so disappointed with Baskin-Robbins as a company. They offered a great sounding product (icecream made with milk alternatives) but didnt back up the idea with the proper training. Won't try going there again. read more

My son and I went here for a little Sunday night treat before we start our week of work and camp. I wish I knew the girls name who helped my son. My kids got me a cake and the frosting was 2 inches deep and full of food coloring, so bad we had to throw it away. I just called the store to not complain but to just get a gift card for a the future, seeing as my teenagers spent their money ( almost 40$) and the cake was thrown away, I feel that's fair. Well the guy ( Brian ) I talked to said I need a receipt or the cake, both of which we don't have, in the future I if we have a bad cake from there, Actually we will never go back, but word to wise, save the over dyed frosting covered gross cake so you can prove your cause. I've been going to this location for over 5 years and every time I go in, the customer experience is awful. We only go back purely for the product and we are by no means "loyal customers". I think it's great to hire high school students but you need to TEACH them the customer service skills & efficiency they need to be great and help boost your sales. You can't have shy kids running a store who look afraid to talk to the customer. I went in last night to one of the most poor, awkward experiences I've ever had. It didn't look very busy but a few more people stepped in after us and it got messy. Customers didn't know who was next in line, customers didn't know which ice cream was theirs once it was served, and customers were left feeling neglected. A little girl accidentally dropped her cone on the floor and neither one of the workers addressed it and jumped in to say something like, "no problem, let me get you another one!". Common sense, you'd think. If the owner or manager care at ALL about this store and the livelihood of it, then train your employees better. Put the effort into making your employees as good as you are. Hiring younger adults (where this is likely their very first job) almost makes you responsible for teaching them how to be good salesmen and deliver excellent customer service that will by far help them in their future employments (and will obviously help your business!) Easy things such as: 1. Greeting customers, making eye contact and smiling. 2. Asking them if they're looking for anything specific. 3. Be a team and communicate with co-workers. (It was like the workers last night were on 2 different planets). 4. Speak loud enough for the customer to hear. read more

Service was terrible, twice. Not the staff, per-say. But the issue. I asked to have the owner or manager call me. The cashiers took my name and number. Over a month now and still no call from the owner or manager. Hmm. What does that tell you. The ice cream is always good, but.. I was sent a email from B-R for a free scoop of ice cream to be used in that month. I went to the BR store on E Sprague Ave, Spokane Valley on December 30, 2018. When I arrived and told the cashier I was there for a free scoop of IC, the cashier asked for a coupon. I explained that no coupon was sent, but, i would show her the email from the B-R company on my phone. She did not want to see it. Nope. Got to have a coupon. I told her I do not drive (my guide dog for the blind would have been the first clue) and just walked about a mile for this specifically. Sorry, Nothing she could do. If I did not want to purchase something, she did not know what else she could do for me. I gave her my name and phone number and asked her to leave a message for the owner or manager to call me and then left. I did not purchase anything. When I got home, I called their customer service department who apologized and offered to send a coupon. They did. Two of them. An explanation with #2 that said coupon #1 was actually no good. It was set to expire January 31, 2019. On January 31, a friend and I went to B-R for ice cream. Again I started off with telling the cashier that I was there for my free scoop of IC and this time I had the coupon. Nope I was told again. Sorry, no coupons today. We are having a promo for the 31st (31 flavors I am guessing). $1.50 per scoop all day. So, I asked, what difference does that make? Free is free. In actuality, it would work out better for them to accept a coupon on a day when the IC is cheaper than the usual price, right? All she would say is she could not take it and I would need to use it another day. I explained it expired that day and that it was a replacement for last months mess up on their part. Sorry she said. I can't take the coupon and then asked me, do you want to buy anything? Otherwise I need to help the other customers. Unreal. So, I purchased a scoop of IC for my friend and myself, again left my name and number, asked to have the owner or manager call me and then we left. I am very disappointed in the way I was treated at this store and possibly the BR company in general. The owner or manager obviously does not care about their customers. The staff is not rude or friendly, but, just matter of fact. The owner, manager or the company has taken away all power for their employees to make any decisions when it comes to making or keeping customers happy. I cannot definitely say this is bait and switch tactics, but, it comes pretty close. I doubt I will return or treat any of my friends at this store again. Why should I do business with anyone who shows they have such little respect for their clientele? If anybody else has had a similar experience, I would like to hear about it. Danny read more

Terrible customer service. I walked in to basket Robbins and was using my big cloth hat as a mask. It has a robe that ties around my head and everything. When I walked in they immediately told me to leave since I didn't have an "actual mask". As I was leaving I noticed a customer in their ordering without a mask on! Was it because I was darker skinned? The man behind the counter wasn't even wearing his mask appropriately either! Customer service is awful!!!! Just know if there is an issue with your order you will be treated as a thief!!! I am from out of town and found out order was wrong at hotel and was told just come back and will fix it. Wasn't able to come right back and when I went in was treated as though I was trying to steal 1 scoop of ice cream.....wth?!?!?! Terrible customer service, a male employee was very rude about one person in our group having a medical condition and not capable of wearing a virtue mask. The employee didn't even try to make any accommodations whatsoever, just very rudely asked us to leave and told us the owner changed their mask policy and is not allowing Inslee's health exemption. We have been going here supporting this business keeping it alive throughout this "pandemic" never wore a mask once, while everyone was staying home getting the $&@ scared out of them by the media. You can literally drive 20 minutes to the East and these disgusting face diapers are not required; does the virus know to stop at the border? Also, this business refuses to take bills larger than a 20 even when we bought over a $100 worth of goods. The bills do say legal tender both public and private. Weird... read more

This BR charged me twice. When I reached out to them, they denied having charged me twice. I contacted my bank, confirmed they charged me twice, and am now having to dispute the second charge. I cannot in good conscience return to this Baskin-Robbins as they are unethical. I can not recommend them. If you do chance a visit, make sure to double check your bank statement. read more

My biggest complaint is they have no bathroom for customers. They told me to walk my daughter 300Ft, across a parking lot to another restaurant and use their disgusting outdoor bathroom. read more

I love this B&R location. The owner is a phenomenal cake decorator. Seriously. She has produced some incredible cakes. If you need something special made up, I strongly recommend you check this location out. They have photos of all the cakes they've done in the store. Very impressive. read more

Went in with a group of 8 for some birthday ice cream. We had good timing because there was nobody in there. Right after we showed up though people started streaming in. The girl who served us did an awesome job handling everything though. She handled my group quickly and moved on to the next person in line. There is never any room to sit down at Baskin Robbins , at least not in Spokane. So we went outside to eat our delicious ice cream it was a nice day, so no big deal. I feel compelled to share my positive experience with this particular shop. I came in one late afternoon for a next-day pick up with special requests. I thought I'd give them till the next day because I understand just dropping in with all kinds of special requests can be maddening. They advised that the next day would be crazy because it was May 31st and they do a freebie so everyone descends on the shop for free ice cream and I would have a hard time even picking up a pre-paid order because of the masses that would be there. Instead they offered to handle my special requests right away and let me take it all with me then, to avoid the interminable lines that were forecast for the next day.
