The cookie-flavored scoop was very tasty as well. This scoop flowed smoothly, and I happily enjoyed the soft cookie chunks within. This had a milder taste, but it felt very satisfying. This gelato was not icy; rather, it had delightful flavors while flowing like chilled silk. Concerning ambiance, Il Gusto (West Covina) shows genuine effort. The location is very clean and well-ventilated (refreshingly chill). I also enjoyed the Elvis Presley music. I was more angry at the fact that they let over 30 minutes go by and didn't tell me via email or phone call that the blender was down. I would canceled my order and promptly received a refund... i hope. I wasn't offered any kind of remedy. No partial refund, no refund, no extra drinks. Just your kinda outta luck. We don't have the proper tools to make you a drink. I will never return here again. I used to like this place and even used to come here when they offered 3 drinks for the price of 2. After spending $20 on 3 drinks (2 of them not even being my choice). I will forever skip this place for the humongous disappointment and terrible service. There are boba places all around this area. I love the ice cream. However: I don't like false advertising: California Business and Professions Code: 17200, 17500, and 17509. Is it the fault of the customer if they lose the receipt? What about a verbal promise? California Labor Code:920. It was most recently the male Hispanic lead the customer on that the customer could obtain an ice cream for .99 cents. Then the receipt did not have the correct date. What kind of deal is this misleading a customer. This is misrepresentation to some extent. California Labor Code:1050-1053. The at will employee is required to provide excellent customer service. Plus: Work with best efforts. California Labor Code:2924. Honestly and Safely. California Labor Code:6300. Is this a breach of a implied contract? California Civil Codes: 3300-3400. If you verbally promised the customer a ice cream cone for.99Cents the day before then they accidently misplaced the receipt is this a crime? Bad customer service.
