This location is super convent to stop into. Either shopping at Ikea or Home depot, I can whip into a parking space in the back and get my sweet tooth on. I grew up living one block from a Baskin Robins back in the day and let me tell you how the memories of good times eating a scoop of ice cream here. My fav is a sugar cone and a double scoop of mint chip! And if I can get it on top a scoop of dacari ice.... Today I only had a single scoop because I gotta watch my figure now days. We love Baskin Robbins but our experience yesterday, 3/26/2018, was less than desirable. Ice cream was delicious. Person helping had to have been new because she couldn't figure out which ice cream was which. We had to keep guiding her to the right one. I'm hopeful that she'll get better. Our issue with this location was the guy cleaning your white ice cream container top open covers. He washed quite a few, stacked them up, and when he moved them to the counter where they are held, there were a lot of them and I guess he was afraid they would topple over. To avoid that from happening, he used his chin to hold them down and in place. Seems like that would be a health dept violation. To make it even worst, this guy has a full face of scraggly facial hair. So imagine a hairy chin pressed down on supposedly clean covers. I don't see this as being okay or sanitary by no means. This guy also has a thick head of long hair which is nice but in a place that serves food, he should have a hair net or the hair pulled back in a tail. He does not make you feel confident that your store is following health codes and I don't think we will return to this location. read more

The ice cream is okay, not the greatest, we live in the by area near Fentons, Dreyers, Mitchells, and too many other awesome local places are. I needed to order a photo-cake, which apparently they do not have shown as options online, but in the store they're available. After talking to staff members about turnaround times, file preparation, pick-ups, deposits etc, we thought we had all the details worked out. Walked into to place the order, and was told that they wouldn't print a picture of Obama on the cake. It was a cardboard cutout of Obama, next to a friend of mine. The employee there called his manager, who then said that it was a policy. When asked "where is this policy, i didn't see it in the book", she said she couldn't b/c she wasn't on-site. The employee who was there, also couldn't find the policy in the book. The manager then stated "everyone should know this anyways, and that she had never had to deal with a customer like me before". I'll never go back, for ice cream or cake. 1-star for enforcing policies that don't exist outside of employees minds, and for the horrible customer service from a Manager in response to the disorganization of the store. An awesome cake shop is the Cake Gallery in San Francisco, they don't do ice cream cakes, but were super helpful + luckily have a 24-hour turnaround time. read more

Sorry but I think this Baskin Robbins uses generic ice cream. Every time I go to this location some of the flavors taste like they aren't original flavors of Baskin Robbins like the chocolate chip. It always taste like it's been frozen so long the taste doesn't taste good or has frost bite on it. I love how they make their waffle fresh on the spot. They change their ice cream very often, with new flavors every time i go in there. It's a lot cheaper then Ben and Jerry's with a lot more flavors to choose from. Best of all was the "Customer Service" when they took the time out to pick a perfect ice cream for me!!!! read more

The really really sad thing about this BR is that no matter what time of day I drive by, there are inevitably very very obese people waiting in line to pick up a sundae. I came into the store on a Sunday afternoon I and Tina the manager was very helpful she went through the ingredients with me took time to make sure I was happy without knowing that I was in the PBA I will recommend the store to everyone so come in and ask for Tina and she will take good care of you and Staff will too.. read more

I need to order an ice cream cake so I go online and get super excited as I start creating the cake. A few minutes later I click to place my order and get a screen that says, "Nice Job!! Click to find a store near you." What?! I have to go and order in person? So misleading and annoying. Luckily this location is near my house and there is ample parking. I race to their giant book of pics to find 'the one!' Next thing I know a swarm of little children bolt into the store. It was nice to see groups of small children hanging from the counters screaming as they waited for their ice cream. I was able to find the pic of the Little Mermaid cake and started placing my order. My 27 year old friend will be so excited by the choice!! The young woman that helped me was so nice and sweet. When I asked her for a 1/2 sheet she proceeded to show me the diagram of the cake sizes. Don't be fooled, the 1/2 sheet is very small. They claim it can serve 8-12 people but that must be in la-la land. I had to upgrade a few sizes. I mean it's ice cream cake!! This Baskin Robbins location is dirty. The cashier hands are dirty from handling cash and other items. You can see the dirt under his nails as he scoops up the ice cream. No one washes their hands before serving any customers. There is a stinky smell when you walk in the store as if something is unclean. The glass where the ice cream is stored -- it always look unclean. I can't deal with this any longer. I will find another Baskin Robbins where it's clean and the cashier's and crew hands are washed and clean before touching the ice cream to serve you. Department of Public Health need to visit Baskin Robbins in Emeryville. I am positive! They will shut this place down! Cleanliness is important when serving the public food. read more

My disappointing experience with Baskin Robbins Emeryville, CA.. I pre-ordered my daughters birthday cake so everything would be perfect on her birthday. I ordered a soft rose pink color, but when I picked up the cake the color was a drastic, hard fuchsia color. Long story short, I spoke to the owner Tina Tung who refused to offer me a refund, a satisfactory resolution or an apology. Instead she insisted I take the awful looking cake. Therefore, I walked away with no cake, no resolution and no refund. Needless to say, I felt very disappointed and let down. My daughter was hurt and her birthday was ruined. I did report this situation to Baskin-Robbins corporate office and eventually was refunded for the full amount. I feel Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream has a reputation to uphold in the community. This situation should have been handled differently. I feel the owner should have never escalated the situation, only deescalate and found a solution for the problem. It would be helpful for this establishment to revise their pre-order policy and instruction form. Lastly, it is crucial to ensure after a customer pays for their merchandise, they never walk away without either their merchandise, a full refund, an acceptable resolution to the problem or at the least, an acknowledgement of their pain and an apology! read more

The smell of freshly made waffle cones drew me in! Man o' Man I love their cakes! I ordered a special photo-image ice cream cake of me and my boo thang. They literally took a picture I emailed them from FB and they scanned it onto a sheet of sugar for the top of my cake. It was awesome and true to the picture. I was really impressed! I also custom ordered the cake to be yellow cake with Jamoca ice cream. The staff members here are usually very courteous and always more than willing to let you try multiple samples of their ice cream flavors in order for you to find what best suits your taste buds. They usually stay pretty well stocked on their ice creams, I have only seen them run out of flavors when they are running BOGO offers or when they have $1.31 scoops at the end of certain months. I would have given this location 5 stars in their rating, but they are always understaffed, and to me it seems kinda ridiculous that they would allow their lobby to become jam packed with so many customers all at once, and only have one person scooping cones and making shakes at a time. read more

I went to this Baskin Robbins yesterday with my family and was not impressed with the service. I hadn't been to a Baskin Robbins in over 6 years and this was my first time coming to this location and coming back to a Baskin Robbins over all. Unfortunately, I will not be coming here anymore. We had an Asian guy helping us, who was not in a good mood, he had a serious face the entire time and looked like he hated his job, the location itself was not as busy, I originally was looking at the Banana split as it looked very appetizing. Knowing I would not finish 3 whole scoops I did not get it. So I asked for one regular sized scoop in a cup, a min later I happened to look at the menu again and noticed they had a "Banana Royale" which I had never had before and I asked If I could get that one instead as it had the banana in the picture. I asked the employee what other things it had, he told me everything with an attitude, it almost seamed as he was mad at me for changing my mind, yet I was going to be paying more money then my original purchase. After that he kept asking me what I wanted to do in regards to the scoop he had already put in the first cup and I said he could just transfer it to the banana royale cup and he once again gave me attitude and was saying he couldn't do that BC the scoops were different sizes, at that point I said "whatever is easiest for you", as I found it pointless for him to ask me that question if there was only one thing to do. I even offered to pay more money if I had to for the scoop he had already put in the 1st cup since he was so upset. After that I went to sit down and apparently he also had an attitude with my husband. Peoples attitudes at work can make a huge difference, I work with clients and I would never treat a client with an attitude even if something they are doing does not please me. This Asian guy really should take this into consideration, at the end of the day the location is meant to be a nice place for people to get together and have some ice cream while of course collecting our money which pays the location and including the pay checks these employees are getting. Will not be recommending this location to any of my friends. In addition to all of this the location was dirty, the table where we sat at had crumbs and dry ice cream, the place looked like it hadn't been swept in the last couple of days. read more

As soon as i walked in i was greeted by a young charming African american fella named Malcolm. He handled me and my order with "Love" i should say. The Place was Clean and very welcoming.
