On various occasions we haven't even made it inside to get our ice cream. Last night we were at Baskin-Robbins with another gentleman. As we go to open the door we watch an employee quickly turn off the lights and grab their belongings as she's watching 3 of us stand outside the establishment at 7:15 when posted on the door and online they close at 9 PM. read more

Just arrived 8:57. Closed. Online shows open until 10:00pm. Would not serve me. Got in my car, and the Hispanic family of four that came in after me, they served. Went to Safeway and bought baskin robbin pints for 1/2 the price I would have paid at the store. Done with BR. read more

Look up their hours, drive all the way down, and they close early. Again last Friday 8:40, signs off, but they let us in, as we were leaving, 2 people came in, and they said they were closed 8:45. Please don't post hours, and then close early, people sometimes drive a ways. read more

Really fun atmosphere with friendy customer service and a wide variety of new flavors and custom treats. I really love the staff. They always greet customers with a smile and make your order exactly the way you want. Conveintantly located next to SPD and the Pinecreek shopping center. The Gold Country Stage bus stop is within a few yards, so it's quite easy to get where you need to be. To me what really makes this a special place is that you can sit with family and friends and enjoy all the sweet smells and sounds of people doing what we do best, eating ice cream! The sundae (all varieties) is a classic recipe, always consistently good and their shakes are top notch. Larger cones are hand made right there at the counter. Restrooms are clean. I hope eventually they might add a few hot drinks to their menu, coffee, cocoa, cider, etc. and more vegan treats. read more

One of the employees there, didn't catch her name but she was on register today around 3 an was blonde. Was very rude an unfriendly. Barely looked at me or who I was with ordering in the face. Once I took part in an ice cream tasting party (like a wine tasting, only nobody gets drunk), and 31 flavors beat all the fancier brands. What you should know about this location is that on Tuesday nights, they serve one dollar scoops, which is less than half price, so that's when you will see me there. read more

What ice cream shop closes at 9pm on Friday and Saturday? It's the hottest weekend of the year thus far, all websites say your store is open until 10:00pm (this is a Friday evening), including Yelp!...you might want to update that. We pulled up at 9:00pm, staff saw us getting ready to come into the shop and proceeded to lock the door in our faces. All I wanted was a pre-packed quart of mint chip ice cream! All the staff had to do was ring my purchase up. I think I speak for more than myself when I say that we're tired of businesses using Covid-19 as an excuse to provide less customer service, fewer hours of operation, forcing customers to visit your shop during a smaller window of time. Out of the four people working in the store, one of them could've helped us instead of locking the doors on us. Not everyone is an early bird, it would be nice if somewhere in this town stayed open past 9:00pm, especially during summer when it's still light outside. read more

Will never step foot in this place again, their hours stated here are to 10:30 so we hopped in the car and at 10:16, the kid saw us coming, turned off the "open" sign, locked the door and walked away. The 3 stars is for the overall experience I had tonight. The ice cream is wonderful. No argument there, but what is it about young people that they never can utter a "Thank you" to their customers? I have this experience over and over again in Nevada County. What I got tonight was "There you go." Wow! I'm keeping you in your job and I get a "There you go"???? Apparently young people are no longer being taught please and thank you in their homes anymore. At any rate, Baskin Robbins should be incorporating manners in their training. Ice cream is ice cream and I get that. But when I buy an expensive ice cream cake, for my son's 5 birthday, no less, and they put the wrong name on the cake? Yeah. I'm going to be irritated. It wasn't even close to his name. They say they can fix it, and when they bring it out it doesn't look good. It was sloppy. You could see that icing was smeared where the other, longer name had been written, and I was bummed. And yes. I was angry. I paid for a nice cake, I don't feel like I got it. In return, I was offered the explanation of " I don't know what happened" and a free scoop of ice cream. No thanks. We won't be going back. read more

Took the kids here for an afterschool treat and got a kids cone for 3 kids. The girl was not interested in us and only put a tiny bit of ice cream none of the cones were filled and they were all empty. It was $8.37 for a tiny lil scoop! We won't be back. read more

This is the only Baskin Robbins I ever go to. Obviously this is a chain, so their flavors are going to be similar to or the same as other BRs, but the service here is always good and the store is always clean when I go in. If the employees aren't busy with other customers, they always greet me with a "hi" or a "welcome to Baskin Robbins," which is nice because a lot of places just leave you to your devices until you approach them when you're ready. I'm a huge ice cream fan, so it's nice that they always let me try a bunch of flavors without acting like they're annoyed. Sometimes the owner is there, and instead of sitting in the back she is cleaning and helping customers, and she's always super bubbly and friendly, and I think that transfers to the employees. You can tell that they just like making people happy, and on the rare occasion something is wrong with my order they always fix it right away without arguing. They have a good selection of items (sundaes, milkshakes, cappuccino blasts, etc.) but the quality of ice cream is still good. I also love looking at the cakes because they are all so creative and pretty! I've seen cakes here that I've never seen at other stores, so I'm not sure if the owner is more flexible about designs or if it's just a regional thing, but I love them. I'll definitely keep coming here for the great service and tasty ice cream! read more
