Do you love trying unique ice cream flavors along with amazing drinks? If so, Aubi & Ramsa might be…read morethe place for you. My friend and I stopped by on Saturday night after seeing them on Instagram. They are located inside the infamous Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, which can be a little tricky to find if you are not familiar with the hotel. The space itself is super cute and feels very aesthetic . I loved the mirrors on the wall with the words on them as well as all the botanicSuch a nice touch and perfect for photos. Now let's get into the ice cream. I tried four different flavors including Strawberry French Mimosa, Tennessee Crème Brûlée, and Lucky Brownie. There was one more flavor, but I cannot quite remember the name. My absolute favorite was the Lucky Brownie. It was so good that I ended up buying one to take home for my brother. The Tennessee Crème Brûlée is also great, especially if you are a sweet lover. The service was quick and friendly. The staff member helping us was incredibly kind and even let me film around the space. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience and I will definitely be back soon.

Unfortunately, I will never know if any of it actually tastes good. I have a nut allergy, the kind that in 25 years of living and ice cream in 30+ countries has never once stopped me from ordering. I asked about a specific flavor, was told it contained no nuts, and then was promptly informed I could not order it due to my allergy. After some back and forth I was told the only flavor I could order was vanilla :( I appreciate caution around allergies, I truly do. But most establishments handle this with a standard cross-contamination warning and let the adult with the allergy make an informed decision. As someone who has worked in an ice cream shop (without a problem) it makes me question their food handling and cleanliness... I left without ordering anything. But everyone around seemed to be enjoying the $9 scoops of what I can only assume were life-changing flavors The place looks great. I hope they revisit how they handle allergy disclosures, because I genuinely wanted to love it and I'd like the chance to actually try it someday.

I ordered an iced coffee with milk and sugar, yet I was repeatedly handed a hot coffee with creamer instead. What made the situation even worse was the staff's attitude. After the third mistake, instead of taking responsibility and correcting the order, they appeared irritated with me for pointing it out. Rather than remaking the drink properly, they simply dumped ice into the hot coffee and called it a solution. It was unprofessional, disrespectful, and incredibly frustrating. The bigger issue appears to be poor management. A brand-new cashier was left to handle the register with little to no guidance or support. She seemed completely overwhelmed and was essentially set up to fail. That not only created a stressful situation for her, but also resulted in a poor experience for customers. Mistakes happen, but repeated errors, a lack of accountability, and inadequate training are signs of deeper management problems. Based on my experience, this level of service is unacceptable.

Keep an eye out for the charming blue-and-white stand topped with American flags, set back from the road, it's easy to miss, but worth seeking out. The Siciliano family has been serving the Miami community for decades. In October 1961, Louis Siciliano opened a sub shop at 711 NW 119th Street in Miami. Although the original location has since closed, the family legacy continues with Siciliano's Frozen Custard and the neighboring Sub Center and Siciliano's Subs, all operated by members of the Siciliano family. Don Drybread, Louis Siciliano's great-grandson, originally opened the custard stand as Uncle Tony's Frozen Custard before renaming it Siciliano's in honor of his mother's side of the family. Siciliano's specializes in frozen custard, which differs from traditional ice cream by containing egg yolks and being churned with less air. The result is a denser, richer, silkier dessert with a smooth texture. It's also served at a slightly warmer temperature than ice cream, allowing you to savor its rich flavor. The custard is made fresh throughout the day, ensuring the perfect consistency every time. Custard is offered in the classic flavors of vanilla, chocolate, and a twist of both, available in cups or cones with your choice of nuts, candy, fruit, or sauce toppings. The menu also features sundaes, sorbet, milkshakes, and their signature thick Hurricanes. For something a little different, Carolyn's Creations transforms the custard into treats like cannolis, dessert tacos, and ice cream sandwiches. I ordered a medium vanilla custard topped with butterscotch and it was so satisfying. The rich, creamy custard made the perfect treat on a hot summer day. There isn't any indoor seating, but there are picnic tables next to the Sub Center, which is great spot to savor your sub or custard.
