Absolutely amazing! We are so thankful to have this gem of a place in our own backyard--it truly feels like La Mirada's best-kept secret. If I could give Vaneet (the owner/manager) and this Baskin-Robbins more than five stars, I would! Our family has been coming here for years for ice cream cakes, and every single one has been exceptional. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are fabulous. Not only do the cakes taste amazing, but they always look beautiful, too. Knowing that Vaneet's mom used to do the decorating makes it clear that creativity, pride, and quality are part of this family business tradition. What truly sets this location apart is the outstanding customer service. During the pandemic, my sister needed a cake for her son, and Vaneet told her to call the store and that, if he could, he would personally come in to make the cake for her. Now that's customer service! Most recently, I picked up my husband's retirement cake, and the store was absolutely packed at 1:30 on a Friday--which says a lot about how much this community values this location. I love having a place I can count on to consistently deliver ice cream cakes that are both delicious and beautifully made. Shout out to the owner Vaneet for his help when we accidentally ordered the wrong items for a promotion. Vaneet and his staffs were helpful and understanding and made it right. We enjoyed coming here and trying the different flavor Baskin-Robbins has to offer. The staffs are kind enough to let us try different samples before ordering. Love, love, love coming here for a sweet treat! The staff is always so friendly, which makes the experience even better. They used to have an ice cream flavor called Monkey Business that was so good -- I really wish they'd bring it back, but I think it's seasonal. Other than that, this is always my go-to spot when I'm craving ice cream. Highly recommend! read more

I've been to this location several times. The people here are always nice and welcoming. Ice cream is of course really yummy. I put in an order for an ice cream cake earlier this month. Unfortunately my daughter ended up pretty sick. Postponing the cake by a week was a breeze. So I definitely appreciate that. My daughter was blown away by her cake and super happy. Best BR experience ever. We visited place to use our coupon and end up getting 10 more coupons. Owner was super kind and make me think about what is the meaning of hospitality. I was watching my daughter order ice cream from few distance. I think I heard her order a small cup of chocolate ice cream with marshmallows. But the young woman working there blended the ice cream with something like condensed milk. I thought my daughter had changed the contents of her order. after she got her takeout and sat in the car, my daughter said worker had misunderstood her order. my daughter did not order a milkshake. The receipt also said milkshake. I have something to say to the part-timer who just ignored my teenage daughter and gave her a drink. If you don't do your best at such a simple task, you will do it half-heartedly no matter what you do, and your life will go by half-heartedly. This place is not trustworthy. It is dishonest. I don't know how the owner presented the working conditions to the part-timer, but trust is broken by small things. read more

Baskin Robbins is such a basic buisness service offered.. the ice cream tasted the same as always. I was just a bit disappointed that upon entering the girls couldn't be bothered to stop their conversations to say hi and allowed me to browse until I looked up at them signaling I was ready. It was a quick transaction and I was on my way. However, pretty disappointed mostly that I upgraded my cone because it was entirely stale and rather gross. read more

The manager, unfortunately I cannot remember his name, and all of his staff were very helpful and explained everything in detail. He offered suggestions as to what colors and decorations would make the cake look its best and I am glad I listened to him, EVERYONE at the birthday party was very impressed at the design and more than anything, the fresh taste of the cake. I really enjoyed this location quite a lot. Service was very friendly by staff, we were greeted at the entrance and they were very quick and friendly. I love the ambiance overall, they have comfortable seating instead of the hard plastic chairs. It looks to be remodeled because it's certainly much nicer than other locations. It was very clean & cozy to sit and relax in. Usually I'm rushing to be out of a Baskin Robbins. Ice cream is delicious as always. Got a single scoop of strawberry cheesecake & cookies n' cream for $9. I have other locations I live closer to, but I would go out of my way to return to this one. read more

Horrible service. Would give a 0 if possible. Been coming here for years since the new owner took over. Today I was given not only the worse service but was also mocked. Samir gives me a half a cone (a 3/4 cone at best). When I asked him why my cone is smaller than usual and smaller than the others in my party. His response was "that is 4 oz." He said to post and complaint to the owner if you want even gave me a thumbs up smile and allowed me to take a photo of him to post. Deuces to not use his photo. But here's a photo of half a cone. I went in on Sunday evening around 830pm. I ordered 2 double scoops and fresh pack pint to go. The double scoop sizes looked fine but the pint was disappointing to say the least. A girl that took the order placed the pint on the scale and started filling it with ice cream. I didn't pay close attention since I believed she would do her job correctly. She then gave me a sample and she wanted me to try it because it's a little on the cheesier side and wanted to make sure that's what I wanted. She suggested the sweet cream ice cream instead and that's what I went with. I thought it was so nice of her to do that instead of just letting me go with the cheesecake ice cream. She also made a few more suggestions which I gladly accepted. The shop is small though which means it gets crowded fast. But there is plenty of parking as it's in a big shopping center.

I'd prefer to order from this store even if it's a bit further from me. Just wanted to show my appreciation to this location for going the extra mile for me. The manager, Sanjani walked by not once but twice and didn't acknowledge me at all. Then a gentleman came behind me asking for sauce, and she acknowledged him right away and walked him straight to the register. He apologized to me, and I told him it wasn't his fault. She walked right past me and said nothing. Once she was done at the register, she attempted to ignore me again until I asked if she was going to ask what I was there for, she said, "I'm helping a customer right now, sir," and just walked off. Keep in mind the customer she was "helping" is the guy who asked for the sauce, in which she didnt even give him the sauce, instead, the nice young lady in the back not only brought the gentleman his sauce, but she also asked me if I was there to pick up an order, which I was, and handed it to me. The manager, Sanjani, still said nothing. I can honestly say this was the worst customer service I've ever encountered. It takes nothing to say "I'll be right with you," instead i'm completely ignored. No one is perfect, but being that you are in a managerial position, you should lead by example and provide a much higher standard of customer service.

They have a large parking lot, but it's also pretty bus at times. This is a big grocery store with a wide variety of Asian foods. I got some shrimp chips which I like and cannot find at other stores. The seafood section was PERFECT! They had such a wide variety of seafood from fresh in fish tanks, to frozen in the open freezers. I would definitely highly recommend visiting for fresh seafood and Asian foods. The place is pretty crowded and we did look out of place, but I didn't care. People were friendly and even if they had limited English they would try to communicate with us and help us. It is a pretty crowded space so be aware of that. They form one long queue for the checkout and go sorting through the lanes. Overall I have a new go to place for seafood.

Normally, we end up at one of our usual big name breakfast spots or make a quick Starbucks run, but this time we decided to switch things up. I have driven past Hygge Coffee countless times on my weekly drive to my daughter's practice and have always been curious about it. We finally decided it was time to stop in, and I am so glad we did. From the moment we walked inside, this place immediately felt different. It is definitely a hole in the wall type of spot, but in the absolute best way possible. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming. The soft colors, lighting, plants, wood furniture, decorations, music, and little details throughout the shop all come together perfectly. There is even a record player tucked into the seating area, which adds even more character. It feels comfortable and relaxing without trying too hard to be trendy. We ordered a vanilla latte, a yuzu tea, and a bulgogi panini. Everything was a 10/10. The vanilla latte was smooth, creamy, and had a nice balance of coffee and vanilla without being overly sweet. The yuzu tea was light, refreshing, and exactly what I wanted after an early morning hike. Then there was the bulgogi panini. This was easily the surprise of the visit. The bread was nicely toasted and crisp on the outside, while the inside was packed with flavorful bulgogi and vegetables. It was warm, savory, filling, and paired perfectly with our drinks. I honestly wasn't expecting a coffee shop sandwich to stand out this much, but I would absolutely order it again. What made the experience even better was the owner. He was extremely welcoming, down to earth, and genuinely seemed excited to have new customers discovering his shop. That kind of interaction makes such a difference, especially at a locally owned business. You can tell there is pride behind the space and the experience they are creating. The shop itself is much larger inside than I expected. There are plenty of tables, including larger tables if you are visiting with a group. Everything was extremely clean, organized, and well maintained. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing enough to sit with a coffee and read, catch up with someone, get some work done, or just enjoy breakfast without feeling rushed. Parking is also easy, with plenty of spaces available, so you don't have to deal with the parking headaches that sometimes come with smaller coffee shops. Hygge Coffee completely changed up our usual post hike breakfast routine, and I think we may have found a new favorite. Great coffee, refreshing drinks, delicious food, a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere, easy parking, and an owner who genuinely makes you feel welcome. If you've driven past this place like I had and kept telling yourself that you'll eventually stop in, do it. This is exactly the type of small, local spot that deserves to be discovered and supported. We will definitely be back.

Hello, I'd like to share feedback on two different Baskin-Robbins locations I recently visited. First, I went to the La Habra location to redeem my free birthday scoop. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The store was dirty, and the man working there (who I believe is the owner) was on his phone the entire time and didn't even greet us. He was rude and unhelpful. When I tried to use my birthday QR code, it didn't work, but he scanned it anyway without giving me the ice cream. The code then disappeared after I left -- and I walked out empty-handed on my birthday. I will not be returning to this location. In contrast, I also visited the La Mirada location, and the experience was completely different. The owner there was incredibly humble, kind, and welcoming. He clearly has high standards for customer service. The store was super clean, smelled great, and made me feel appreciated as a customer. I would gladly return to this location again and recommend it to others. I hope this feedback is helpful, and I appreciate your time. read more

I been to this store last summer around these days , bad service, not clean , not friendly either , but recently I noticed this store is under new management, I am impressed, I mean they change it lot , FIRST new ice cream freezer & they r kind lower then old unit now I don't have to lift my kid , they can see what kind ice cream they have that's a huge plus point , SECOND they got new cake freezer,THIRD they add coke fridge, FOURTH a good one they had brand new furniture , before it was dirty old furniture, now there is whole lot sitting in there , and also awesome service, I was there on Monday, I believe the guy who help us out he was a manager , very nice guy , he even come to our table and ask us how is everything, if we need water or any thing else , I mean these guys take there customer service to whole new level , I love it , Me my wife and my kids wanna come here again. read more

I was here last week , they have this nice old lady working as a cake decorator Ranju ,she is awasome cake decorator. I believe she is owner of the place. She made my daughter so happy on her birthday. Can't wait for my hubby birthday cake getting from here . I love u guys . U guys made every single birthday spl with spl cakes . Everyone ask from where we buy the cake we tell everyone at our party to go to this location & u never will be disappointed. These guys are way cheaper than any Baskinrobbins out In this area . They never charge extra if u decided to get any ice cream flavor on cake. Other place have lot unreasonable charges. Best part abt them they will go beyond from ur expectations. Love going to BaskinRobbins , but I stoped coz of that stupid girl with bad attitude, screw my order ( mint chip shake ) every time I go . But I went back again since I find out that store is under new management (and that blonde girl don't work there anymore ) . I had large mint chip shake yummy & I wasn't charge extra for whip cream ( coz they used to charge extra ). And they have my favorite mint chip roll cake also (bought one ) it was delicious mmmm. Alright today I been to this BaskinRobbins where I used to go every time for ice cream or ice cream cake . In Last few years this place run by different management & every time new management came in it get worse and worse , employees were rude , store was dirty loud noises from old equipment, always have to wait for 20 or 30 minutes to get ice cream or anything from there . Now again this store is under new management, but store look pretty clean , employees r friendly, new equipment,& don't have to wait more than 5 minutes for my turn , pretty good . But let's see for how long they keep it up . read more

We visit this store about once a week and staff is always so kind. My daughter wanted her 5th Birthday cake here and wanted it Unicorn. The manager and staff both gave me time to show them what I wanted and even had me meet with the designer to get all the details needed to make my cake special. I couldn't be happier with their service and the cake I ordered. A plus, they only charged me a bit more for the extra design and the cake was already a good price. The owner or manager of this franchise refused to allow me to enter the business because I have a little dog. But it wasn't so much about the dog that really disturbed me. It was everything he said to me. I can't believe that this is what Customer Service has become. Especially in such a quiet little suburb as La Mirada. Going out for an ice cream cone on a hot day with your family and dog has never been a problem in all the years I have lived here. I definitely will never be Customer there ever again. read more

After entering the area, you can either wait in line at the point of sale (POS) or use one of the two self-service kiosks to place your drink order. I recommend the kiosk if only ordering drinks. Although 85 Degree Bakery is a chain, the tea at this location was disappointing. It tasted weak and watered down, lacking the tea taste I expected. Oh well....
