A little cranky waking up early on a chilly Saturday morning to drive my eldest to a swim meet in La Mirada, I set out in search of coffee and sugar to bring balance to my morning. Also, a sugar blast to the kid always seems to help his times. #FatheroftheYear I happened upon this donut show without really looking for it, and pulled into the lot. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the case, and the friendliness of the two folks behind the counter. The morning light shining through a clear sky from the east illuminated the sweet offerings behind the glass, each glistening with shiny glaze and frosting. I ordered a chocolate old fashioned and a half-dozen donut holes for this kid... and settled on a coffee for me. Diet goals, and stuff. Dropped a five on the counter and wished the young lady and gentleman behind the counter a very nice rest of the day. They seemed appreciative of the small tip. When you can make someone's morning for a buck or two--or just elicit a sunshade smiles between human beings, always do that.... it makes the world a better place, even if for the briefest of moments. read more

The donuts here are the best ! I usually get the normal glazed and chocolate donuts here but when I've been here with friends they get different ones and also like what they get. I've also tried their burritos and tortas and I believed them to be fairly priced and also to be pretty good. The ice blended drinks are also good here but can very depending on the person working but for the most part they've been a bit more than a miss. Nice people working the counter. They do have room for sitting inside and eating if you opt to eat in. The seating is 24/7 as well. I've been here 4am before and it's always been available. read more

Who doesn't love donuts!!! I could eat them everyday if my body would let me. This location has always been a late night stop for us. It's on our way back home from the freeway it's the perfect late night snack/breakfast for next morning. We never eat inside so I cannot comment on the cleanliness of the tables and chairs since I don't pay attention to them. The service here is always great. The people are always so nice and helpful. Sometimes they throw in a couple extra donuts, probably because it's later at night. Donuts always taste fresh and fluffy. They always have our favorites available. Pricing is not too bad either. Wow I was so impressed with these donuts! I came in around 1am the night of the 4th and ordered 3 donuts. The two cake donuts were fresh, perfectly cooked, and were so soft and fluffy inside with a nice crunch on the outside. Ohhh man how my mouth is watering again just thinking about them!! The last donut was topped with blue icing and fruity pebbles. That donut was so fresh tasting and soooo soft. It melts in your hand practically. All in all, awesome donuts and great service. I went there on 3/30/19. They have a new baker there. I miss the one who just recently retired. Anyway, I caught the new baker putting doughnuts upside down in a tray of icing while licking his fingers with no gloves on. I almost hurled. Yum Yum donuts is my favorite donut shop, i would choose them over any donut place. I'm in love with donuts they are my favorite cheat food! Mmmm so delicious! Ok I'm getting carried away... This location sadly was not so delicious. The donuts I received didn't seem fresh, and seemed to be made poorly or below the Yum Yum standard. The donut was smaller size than an average donut, the icing was like slapped on and only halfway covered the donut. The donut was even misshapen, not a donut ring. I'm going to go to the Yum Yum on Telegraph/Carmenita in Santa Fe Springs from now on! Can't waste my cheat day on sub-par donuts !! read more

Decent place to get donuts. Always a diverse selection to choose from. No standout donut to recommend though. All of my usual favorite donuts that I'll buy from donut shops are just average tasting from here. Just good enough to say they are okay. So why do I go here? Not very impressed with this place. The dining area is dirty and they do not bother to clean it up even during down time. The seating area is nice besides that. They do offer a wide selection of lunch/dinner foods and drinks in addition to donuts, but I have not tried any of them. Their staff is not usually very friendly, and their donuts cano be expensive. Their standard glazed and chocolate frosted taste pretty average and they don't have any donuts that stand out or are uniquely flavored. Probably won't be going back anytime soon. read more

Also a cream filled chocolate one. :/ so nasty the chocolate on top taste like plastic and it was like where is the cream? Last but not least the mini chocolate donuts. I wouldn't call myself a complete donut expert or anything like that, but I can tell a bad donut from a good donut, and I would have to say that this place serves pretty bad donuts... I'll just give a brief description on a couple donuts I tried here: DONUT HOLES: they were not airy, raised, and "fluffy" like the donut holes we know and love. Instead, they were thick, dry, and flavorless. They tasted like a dry, unsatisfying, cake donut hole, which they were not suppose to be. MAPLE OLD FASHION: This was not as disappointing as the donut holes, but it was bad enough that I didn't even bother to finish the whole thing, which says a lot! This donut was not fresh in the slightest even though we were told they were. The reasons I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 are because of Yum Yum's friendly costumer service and easily accessible location. If you're a donut lover, take the trek over to M&M in Anaheim. P.S. They do take card here, which is always nice! read more

Every Saturday sometimes I feel like eating a breakfast bagel and the first place that I think of is this Yum Yum store. The staff here always satisfies me and they take care when making the food.
