I got some sugar free lollipops and brittle as well. Also a pound of nuts and chews for grandma. Bought two, 1 lb. custom boxes of See's chocolates for a few close friends (me & my foodie sidekick) because it was a special occasion (Sunday funday) and they deserve the very best (we do). Some of my favorites include... - Cafe Hazelnut Truffle | I love the truffle center of white chocolate and the hazelnut flavors. - Milk Bordeaux | Creamy brown sugar soft center with chocolate sprinkles. I don't think I've had this much fun buying candy in a long time young man behind the counter Ethan was pleasant, energetic, and very knowledgeable of his product in this day and age. It's hard to come by people that are not only trustworthy employees but also wonderful sales people the product is enthusiasm. Malone almost seem to make the candy taste better. I ordered milk chocolate buttercream into the truffles. They didn't even have time to get into the bag. It's no surprising as a specialty candy store with Service like this? I went to pick up a box of assorted chocolates today and was able to order outside (no in-store shopping right now, which I completely understand and support) in a socially distant manner. I placed my credit card on a tray (cash is not accepted at this time which makes perfect sense) and the cashier brought my purchase, credit card and receipt out to me. In the bag there was a prepackaged bag of several samples. The cashier was very nice and the transaction was done quickly. She let me know the one pound box also was available with fancier packaging (a gold box instead of a white one) at a higher price. I wasn't aware and it's good to know if I need a nicer looking box. I was in here a week ago , and my apology for not doing this last week as I promised. I am coming back in a day or 2 so I needed this to be done prior. This store is Awesome Clean and I can not say enough good things about Kyle B. she has been there for a while I always have her help me. Kyle is always polite kind fast efficient on point great at adding sugestions. The Mgr of store is Ethan Allen. very easy to remember his name as it is the Name of one of my favorite furniture stores. This store is Always clean the shelves are full and well stocked and the team is well informed on the different candies and are great at answering all or any questions you may have. Listen this store gets very busy sometimes on 2 occassions the line was outside the doors Never let that sway to NOT come in. The lines move very fast, I promise you. I love that they opened this Sees in Laguna Niguel. I have been here a few times since they opened and there is never been a long line or wait. I often buy certificates at Costco for a discount, and it's an easy transaction to use here. If you want something other than a regular 1 pound box, they apply the value towards your purchase. The place is clean and the staff are friendly. I love that they offer a free piece of chocolate. This time it was a bluberry truffle. It was fresh and delicious. The parking is easy. There's something about walking into a place and feeling welcomed by people that don't make you feel like they're faking it. Every time I come in, it's a pleasure! All the girls that work here are amazing! They never rush me and are patient with me when I make different boxes of chocolates for different friends and family members. Even when I walk in 5 minutes to closing, they don't rush me. I love that! The chocolates are fresh and tasty. If you're buying it as a gift, they wrap it for you as well. We often go here on occasional weekdays before our kids bedtime for a little treat. Erick, the assistant manager, is often there and is so kind, accommodating and hospitable to our family, and he always makes great recommendations. It is becoming a frequent go-to spot for us and we highly recommend it! Most Sees stores we have been in before are often in crowded malls and feel rushed and chaotic, whereas this store has a calm, quiet atmosphere and a steady stream of activity that allows you to take your time and get something you really like. Our kids look forward to going and it is also conveniently by Whole Foods, Peet's and other places if you need to grab groceries, coffee or a quick lunch all in the same trip! read more

I used to love coming in to this store. I'm not sure if they just hired her or if she wasn't there when I came in, but there is an older Caucasian woman that recently started working at this store that has a really stingy, judgmental attitude. It's usually been customary to provide each patron with a free candy sample, but this woman has to give you a look over before she will decide to do so. The last time I was there, she gave me the wrong candy, (which was only a few pieces). She then exuded an attitude that made me feel like my low order wasn't worth her time. She did not provide me with the usual sample and I just didn't feel welcome. As a regular customer, I'm hoping management will discuss these issues with her. See's is a classic place to get a box of candy. The pros: you can pick up a box quickly or create a custom 1/2, 1, 2 pound boxes. The downfall to picking a custom box is that the employees at this location seem bothered when you chose to get your box done a certain way. Might I add that it is the same price per pound as the pre-made box such as assorted chocolates, milk chocolates, dark chocolates, nuts and chews, and cremes. Since my custom box was going to be a gift, I wanted the chocolates in a certain order/pattern like 1 scotch mellow in each corner, but that was a problem for the woman behind the counter. I really like See's candy but I think I will stick to the Mission Viejo location. read more

Julie, helped prepare individual boxes of my Mom's favorite chocolate for her celebration of life within a week of the store opening. Most importantly, I am always greeted when visiting the store, often by name. The store is clean and the entire staff is always friendly and welcoming. This location doesn't open until 10am on weekdays, and 12pm on Sundays! WTF? For someone who hits Whole Foods when it opens at 7am to do my morning grocery shopping, this place is basically never open when I need it to be. The chances of me driving to that shopping mart just to go to See's is slim to none. One Sunday, I really needed some chocolate gold coins for Chinese New Year, I happened to be shopping at Whole Foods at about 10a, See's was closed, but I saw the workers inside in their nurses uniforms stocking the shelves.
